Just as Gerry Peary was crying loudly, the door of the ward opened.
Ethan Martinez was still dressed the sa way, almost making his face unrecognizable.
When Gerry heard the sound, he looked up and imdiately recognized Ethan, even without thinking.
"Uncle!"
Tears were still on Gerry’s face, but he was so happy he quickly shouted.
Ethan imdiately walked over and hugged Gerry.
"Uncle, I missed you so much."
Hopeful, Gerry looked towards the door but didn’t see Shirley Grant.
"Uncle, didn’t my mom co here?"
Gerry raised his little face, full of innocence.
Ethan’s words caught in his throat, but he didn’t say them.
So things are better left unknown to Gerry.
Ethan removed his mask and turned to face Alan Morgan.
"Mr. Morgan, I’m taking Gerry with . You have no right to stop ."
Previously, Shirley said she was taking Gerry to see Alan, and he hadn’t stopped her.
After all, it was between the two of them, and even though he was Shirley’s brother, there were many things he couldn’t get involved in.
However, for the past few days, Shirley’s phone couldn’t be reached.
He found it a little strange.
No matter whether her eting with Alan ended well or badly, she shouldn’t be ignoring calls.
Plus, she hadn’t appeared since.
He gradually felt sothing was wrong.
So, he imdiately canceled all his work and rushed to the hospital without stopping.
"He’s my son. And who are you?"
Alan had done a paternity test before; there was no doubt he was his own flesh and blood.

"I’m his uncle. Tell , where’s my sister?"
Ethan’s background was a mystery to the public, with EdbertNia Mitchell covering for him behind the scenes, so he never worried about the Paparazzi finding out.
But at this mont, he candidly admitted his relationship with Shirley, wanting to take Gerry back.
He wasn’t afraid at all.
Even if his career ca crashing down, he didn’t care.
"Uncle?"
Was he Shirley’s brother?
Alan imdiately laughed coldly, surprised that the woman had any family at all.
"I want to leave with Uncle."
Gerry raised his little face and spoke, full of defiance, then reached to grab Ethan’s hand, afraid that Ethan might leave him behind.
"Uncle, can you take away, please? Did I make Mom angry? Doesn’t she want anymore..."
Seeing Gerry like this, Ethan was quite upset.
It seed Shirley wasn’t here, so where had she gone?
"Alan, where’s my sister?"
Alan thought this was the funniest joke in the world. He dared to ask him for Shirley?
That woman had left her seriously ill son with him, disappearing who knows where by now.
And she still had the nerve to ask him.
"How thick-skinned must you be to do such things?"
Alan ignored Ethan and directly pulled Gerry’s hand away.
"I think you’d better not say things you shouldn’t in front of the child. Let’s talk outside now."
Looking down at Gerry’s situation, Alan’s brows furrowed tighter.
Ethan didn’t speak, but his gaze was gentle as he looked at Gerry.
"Gerry, don’t be afraid. Uncle will co back in a while, okay?"
Gerry nodded blankly, with no choice but to trust him.
After getting Gerry’s response, Ethan was the first to step out of the ward.
