Feeling the movent of little Rabina, Maxwell Peary’s heart skipped a beat.
Without turning his head, without struggling, he continued standing there talking on the phone.
"I don’t need your kind of protection."
Honestly, he didn’t.
He wished Silvia Waterborne could be well, always well.
"This is sothing I caused, I’ll deal with it myself."
Silvia smiled a little, sitting there, her eyes full of tears.
Even if the power went out, there would still be plenty of reports about her tomorrow.
However, things that Maxwell Peary does not allow will absolutely not happen.
"You don’t need to worry about this, I will handle it well, and you should return imdiately."
Maxwell Peary’s voice slowly grew louder, quite angry.
He didn’t want things to exceed his expectations, didn’t want Silvia Waterborne to sacrifice herself.
He certainly had a way to protect her, absolutely did.
"There’s no need, you simply can’t handle it, you can’t fight him."
If you really had the ability to handle this matter, how could you let Belinda Swan be so arrogant?
How could you allow Nia Mitchell to be bullied?
This matter has escalated to a point where sacrifices have to be made.
"You should go back, otherwise the power won’t be restored; I say what I an."
After saying this, he imdiately hung up with a snap.
After hanging up, he directly made a call to Alan Morgan.
"You go to the site and handle it."
He was now in D City, and distance couldn’t help with the imdiate fire, he simply couldn’t go to the site.
Moreover, his identity wasn’t suitable for going there.
Alan Morgan looked up at the operating room, this was the only place in Capital Town with power.
Gerry Peary was still inside.
Seeing such a long ti had already passed, he was worried and didn’t know what to do.
At this mont a task ca in, and he feared he might make a mistake.
"I’m not in a good state now, find Lewis."
Maxwell Peary furrowed his eyebrows, rembering today was the day of Alan Morgan’s son Gerry’s surgery.
"Don’t worry too much, everything will pass."
After saying this, he hung up the phone, inford Lewis, then turned around and embraced Nia Mitchell in his arms.
The faint scent from her body rushed at him, making him srized and unable to extricate himself.
This feeling was so beautiful that he wanted to keep it forever.
"Uncle, don’t worry, everything will pass."
Nia Mitchell repeated what Maxwell Peary just said, using his words to comfort him.
Maxwell Peary froze for a mont, this little girl, was she being insincere?
He shook his head, lazily picked her up in his arms.
"Of course it will pass."
He believed in his ability to protect the people he wanted to protect.
Saying so, his expression softened a lot, and he gently placed her on the large bed.
Nia Mitchell blushed, seeing him prepare to press down on her, she imdiately rolled to one side.
As a result, Young Master Peary lunged at nothing.
His face instantly turned dark, Maxwell Peary turned to look at Nia Mitchell lying there.
"What do you an by this?"
Is he so sort of monster?
Why dodge?
Nia Mitchell stuck out her little tongue, looking playful and cute, yet this deanor was a great temptation to Maxwell Peary.
"I didn’t dodge."
She smiled a little, clearly lying through her teeth, yet still feigning innocence.
Seeing her like this, Maxwell Peary’s lips twitched.
So shaless.
Is this little Rabina from his family, harmless to people and animals?
"Alright, I’d like to see if you can dodge even if you want to."
Saying that, Maxwell Peary started unbuttoning his shirt.
