Stepping into the warehouse, dust swirled in the air.
Belinda Swan was still crouching in the corner, shivering.
The arrogance she had before was long gone; now she was exceptionally pathetic.
Her clothes had beco disheveled in the earlier chaos, and her makeup was no longer exquisite.
Charles Northwood walked over slowly with a cruel curve on his lips.
"Are you the one who wanted to harm Nia?"
He stopped, unable to tolerate it at all.
Belinda Swan imdiately shook her head, her face full of fear.
"I didn’t, I really didn’t, it was them, they wanted Nia Mitchell, I did nothing."
Belinda Swan was terrified, her eyes lost their spark.
Seeing Charles Northwood’s cruel deanor, she imdiately lunged forward, tightly grabbing his pant leg.
"Please let go, I really didn’t do anything, this kidnapping wasn’t my doing, it was Mr. Peary, it was him, I was just delivering a ssage."
Her mind was filled with these corpses, and Belinda Swan trembled all over with fear, as if clinging to her last lifeline, holding onto Charles.
Charles Northwood wasn’t in the mood to listen to her words, he directly kicked Belinda Swan away.
His pant leg had been stained black by her actions.
On his fair clothes, the dirty spots stood out markedly.
"Do you think that by saying this, I will let you go?"
Charles thought this woman was extrely foolish at this mont, and not only that, but also laughable.
He wouldn’t be easily deceived.
"Since you always consider yourself a high and noble lady, then I will destroy you."
Charles spoke rcilessly, turning to look at the n standing aside.
"Give her so drugs and throw her to the beggars in Capital Town, let her never lack n in this lifeti, see if she still wants other people’s n."
He uttered these cruel words right in front of Belinda Swan and turned to leave.
Upon hearing this, Belinda Swan was even more afraid, ignoring the pain from being kicked, she once more fiercely clung to Charles’s leg.
"No, no, I didn’t want other people’s n, I beg you not to do this, you can’t destroy , you can’t be this cruel!"
Belinda Swan shouted, this man is a demon; to think she initially thought he was a gentle man.
In what way did he resemble gentleness?
Being embraced once more, Charles furrowed his brows deeply.
"Bang!"
Kicking her away again, he stomped hard on Belinda Swan’s right hand.
"Ah!!!"
A scream ripped through the air, as Belinda Swan broke into a cold sweat from the pain.
After the heart-wrenching cries, Belinda Swan was left too weak to even scream, just lying there on the ground.
"Sever her hand tendons and break her legs!"
As if a demonic voice descended from the sky, upon hearing this, Belinda Swan’s pupils constricted, her eyes went black, and she fainted.
Charles furrowed his brows, glanced at his pants, and turned to leave the warehouse.
Outside, Nia Mitchell lay in the car with her eyes closed, sleeping uneasily.
Seeing her like this, Charles Northwood reached out to stroke her hair.
In her sleep, Nia Mitchell felt soone gently touching her hair, and the fear surrounding her was instantly driven away.
That familiar gesture, just like Maxwell used to do, made Nia Mitchell unwittingly nuzzle closer.
