Nia Mitchell was startled and rubbed her temples.
"Co in."
Just by hearing the voice, Nia Mitchell knew that EdbertNia Mitchell was very tired.
After a mont of surprise, she pushed the door open and walked in.
EdbertNia Mitchell saw Nia Mitchell coming in and smiled.
"Have a seat over there."
He pointed to the sofa, but Nia Mitchell didn’t move.
"No need, I have to go to work later."
Now, she was his employee, not a friend.
"Haha, do I need to say sothing polite? Like I’m glad you could co back, I welco you, your decision was the right one."
Nia Mitchell burst out laughing, blushing as she stood there.
"No need for such formalities, Mr. Zhong, even though we’re on good terms, you still have to pay my salary as usual."
Listening to Nia Mitchell’s half-joking words, EdbertNia Mitchell also burst out laughing.
"You haven’t changed a bit."
The fatigue on EdbertNia Mitchell’s face disappeared completely.
Nia Mitchell nodded in agreent.
"You should just assign so work. I think you really need so rest now."
Looking at him like this, with red eyes, he almost seed like a little rabbit.
"Haha, every ti I stay up all night, you’re the first to notice."
Even though he hid it well.
Nia Mitchell smiled. "Of course, I can tell."
EdbertNia Mitchell sighed and reached into the drawer for Nia Mitchell’s old work badge.
"I’ve kept this for you. Here you go."
Nia Mitchell was taken aback, clearly not expecting it to still be here.
"Mr. Zhong..."
She didn’t know how to describe her feelings, it was just strange.
"Keep it safe, you’ll be doing the sa work as before, still my head secretary."
"Mr. Zhong."
Nia Mitchell interrupted EdbertNia’s words with a calm voice.
"I’d rather just be a little secretary. Even though I was the head secretary before, you already have one now."
Hazel Quartz had worked hard to get to this position, and if she beca the head secretary as soon as she arrived, what would happen to Hazel Quartz?
"So what if there’s already a head secretary? She’s not doing great, anyway. Plus, I kept this position open for you; she’s just temporary."
Nia Mitchell didn’t know that when Hazel Quartz assud the role, EdbertNia Mitchell had already said that.
He clearly told her she was temporary, and that when Nia Mitchell returned, she would leave that position and continue as a regular secretary.
This was also why Hazel Quartz was worried about Nia Mitchell’s return.
"Mr. Zhong, Hazel Quartz hasn’t done anything wrong. If she’s demoted just because I ca back, I think that’s quite unfair."
Nia Mitchell disagreed with this point.
EdbertNia Mitchell paused but eventually nodded.
"Alright, then you’ll temporarily be a little secretary, and once I find a place for Hazel Quartz, you’ll resu your original position."
Nia Mitchell nodded in agreent.
"Then I’ll go to work. You should get so rest."
EdbertNia Mitchell rubbed his temples and nodded.
Seeing him nod, Nia Mitchell turned and left the office.
Even though she didn’t spend too long in the CEO Office, once she walked out of it, she noticed the mbers of the Secretary Departnt had gradually arrived.
And Hazel Quartz was among them.
"Nia Mitchell!?"
Hazel Quartz was taken aback, not expecting to see Nia Mitchell there early in the morning.
She must be seeing things, she must be!
