Lee Encai pricked up her ears. The more she listened, the more alert she beca, and the angrier she got. To think she had actually felt sorry for Wei Zichu before, believing Lin Tang shouldn't have tapped her on the head with his chopsticks. She hadn't realized there was a deeper aning.

When Lee Encai heard Wei Zichu jump onto Lin Tang's bed and shalessly pester him, she cursed inwardly. Utterly shaless!

Wei Zichu, however, was eager to try. "Brother Lin, I'm not afraid!" she said without hesitation. "Just bring it on! Don't go easy on just because I'm a delicate flower!"

Lin Tang said, "Alright then, take off your clothes."
"Huh? Do I have to take off my clothes?" Wei Zichu asked.
"Yes," Lin Tang replied. "They'll get in the way, and the high body temperature could lead to a Qi deviation."
"Oh, okay! I'll do as you say."
Lee Encai was speechless. Those two scoundrels! Who are they trying to fool?
She couldn't stand it anymore. She yanked her door open and twisted the knob to Lin Tang's room. It was unlocked. She burst in easily. The lights were on, so she imdiately saw Wei Zichu sitting cross-legged with her back to Lin Tang. He was also sitting, his hands stretched forward with his palms pressed against her shoulder blades.
They both turned to look at her, and a silent standoff ensued.
"Uh…" Lee Encai's cheek twitched. "Are you two really just cultivating?"
"What else?"
"What did you think?"
Lin Tang and Wei Zichu stared at her with disdain.
Lee Encai's face flushed, and she wished a hole would open up and swallow her. "How was I supposed to know? The things you were saying were so ambiguous! Besides, taking off your clothes to cultivate? And you'll suffer a Qi deviation if you don't? What kind of twisted logic is that?"
"Tsk, what do you know? You're an amateur!"
"Exactly. You're not even a Martial Artist, so of course you don't understand."
Their scorn intensified.
"Fine, fine! I ruined your good ti. I'll get out of your hair, okay?" Lee Encai fled, clutching her head. She thoughtfully closed the door behind her.
Back in her room, she threw herself onto the bed and rolled around, trying to force herself to sleep.

Lee Encai erged with dark circles under her eyes, only to see Wei Zichu brimming with energy and vitality. Lin Tang glanced at him. "You're suffering from overindulgence; your body is weak. Just abstain for a while and have Doctor Ge prescribe you so restorative tonics. Now go wait for your dicine over there."
"What? Are you saying I'm weak? Bullshit! You're just trying to brush off! You have to examine properly!" The young man first flushed with sha and anger, then grabbed Lin Tang's sleeve.
"I've already treated you. Let go!" Lin Tang said, his patience wearing thin.
"Hey, what's with the attitude? Do you still think you're Shen Youling's husband, worthy of being the Xiao family's son-in-law? You're nothing but a stray dog kicked to the curb! The young man yelped in pain and was about to throw a tantrum when he was horrified to find himself completely paralyzed. He couldn't move a muscle. He stood there frozen, like an insect trapped in amber, and could only watch helplessly as Lin Tang strode away with Lee Encai.
The other patients stared in astonishnt.
"What kind of dical technique is that?"

Unfazed, Lin Tang chuckled. "Didn't your boss, Xiao Xuanye, already announce that my marriage to Shen Youling is void? So, what's wrong with having an affair?"
"You—" The adjutant was montarily speechless, then sneered, "So you're aware that you and our Young Lady are no longer husband and wife? In that case, I have no reason to hold back. I can kill you right now! The reason is simple: you're in cahoots with the Tang Sect remnant who injured our Young Lady's face. That's a capital offense!"

"Are you sure you're not just using this as an excuse to settle a personal score?" Lin Tang asked, looking exasperated.
He grabbed the terrified Lee Encai and casually strolled through the hail of bullets as if they were taking a walk in the park. He walked right up to Zhu Yingning, snatched the bag of Hui Snake scales, and began patting her down.
"What are you doing? Taking advantage of at a ti like this?" Zhu Yingning's eyes widened.
"Get lost! I'm looking for your poisons," Lin Tang snapped irritably.
"It's no use. They're too far away and they're wearing gas masks…"
"That's because you're useless. Watch ."
Lin Tang's fingers danced like a magician's, mixing various powders whose colors shifted and changed. Still unsatisfied, he casually gathered so herbs from the forest floor.
Zhu Yingning recognized them. While dodging bullets, she asked, "Those are just common plants. They aren't poisonous. What good will they do?"
"Who ever said sothing has to be poisonous on its own to enhance a toxin's potency? Your knowledge of toxicology is pathetically shallow," Lin Tang stated flatly.
Zhu Yingning was speechless. God, he has such a punchable face when he gets all smug like that!
Then, she witnessed a miracle.
As Lin Tang released the poison, the adjutant and his n, no matter how far away they were or how advanced their gas masks, instantly succumbed. It was as if they were all tripping on hallucinogenic mushrooms.
"What's going on?"
"I feel so dizzy!"
"I can't feel my limbs!"
"Whoa, you grew wings on your back! You're an angel!"
