"Yesterday, you said you were going to get your sister drunk so that man, Wang, could do whatever he wanted with her. So you were talking about my wife?" Lin Tang was instantly enraged.

"Wait a minute!" Dong Mingfeng interjected. "You two ca together? Does that an, Youling, you actually had a chance to stay with Young Master Mo? It must have been you, Lin Tang! She was so furious she was about to explode, her hand lashing out in a slap.
Lin Tang frowned, catching her wrist. "Seeing as you're my wife's mother, I won't strike back," he said coldly. "But you'd better show so respect."
"What? You dare to fight back? You've got so nerve!" Dong Mingfeng shrieked, "Shen Xin, are you dead? Get over here and help!"
Shen Jiayue quickly ordered her husband, Lu Zizheng, to attack him. Lu Zizheng was already green with envy that a country bumpkin like Lin Tang had taken Shen Youling's first ti.
With my size, I can crush a punk like him easily, right? He imdiately puffed up with vigor and charged like a rabid dog pouncing on its prey. A mont later, Lin Tang sent him flying like a soccer ball.
Shen Xin, who had just taken a few steps forward, froze. His cheek twitched at the sight, and he quietly retreated, having no desire to follow in Lu Zizheng's footsteps. A series of squeals, like a pig being slaughtered, echoed from Lu Zizheng down the hallway. His cries drew nurous stares, a mixture of shock and contempt—this was a hospital, after all. Causing such a commotion was simply classless.
"You actually fought back? This is outrageous! Simply outrageous!" Dong Mingfeng trembled with rage, glaring with dissatisfaction at Shen Xin's cowardice. She was about to charge forward herself, convinced Lin Tang wouldn't dare lay a hand on her. After all, she was his mother-in-law.
"Enough!" Shen Youling couldn't bear it any longer, forcefully pushing Dong Mingfeng away. "Grandpa's life is hanging by a thread, and you're all here making a scene! Aren't you afraid of becoming a laughingstock for the entire city? Do you really not care about being publicly shad?"
"You wretched girl, how dare you push ? With an unfilial attitude like that, you're the one who deserves to be shad!" Dong Mingfeng was wary enough not to strike back this ti.
Shen Jiayue's face was flushed with anger as she struggled to help Lu Zizheng to his feet. Just as she was about to erupt, she heard Shen Youling ask her to contact Wang Shouzhen for a restorative dicine.
She snapped, "Your disaster of a husband hit my husband. Make him get on his knees and apologize right now; otherwise, I'm not making any calls."
"What?" Shen Youling was dumbfounded. Isn't Grandpa her grandfather too? How could she use his life as a threat?
To her dismay, Dong Mingfeng sided with Shen Jiayue, declaring that Lin Tang, as the younger brother-in-law, had assaulted his elder brother-in-law. It was an act of insubordination, and he had to admit his guilt.
Shen Xin started to speak, but a sharp glare from Dong Mingfeng made him wilt. He turned to persuade Shen Youling instead, saying it was just a small apology and that she should give them a way to save face.
"You... all of you..." Tears stread down Shen Youling's face. She was clearly in the right, yet she was powerless against their irrationality.
Saving her grandfather was the priority. She had no choice but to turn to Lin Tang. "You... you could have just dodged. Why did you have to kick my brother-in-law? You're just making things more chaotic. Please, can you just apologize? You don't have to kneel, just say it..."
Lin Tang's eyes widened. "Are you kidding ? He attacked , and I'm not allowed to fight back? You want to apologize? Impossible!"
"You—" Disappointnt flooded Shen Youling's face. He's just as cold-blooded as Mom and the others! She knew her grandfather had gone to great lengths to protect Lin Tang. First, he had swallowed his pride and personally asked Shen Jiayue for help. He had even offered her his cherished collection, letting her pick anything she wanted. And that wasn't all. When Wei Shanhe ca to their ho demanding retribution, it was her grandfather who stepped up to negotiate, only to be injured by him. Now Grandpa's life is on the line. It's just a simple apology. What's a little humiliation compared to that?
"I'm begging you, okay?!" Shen Youling pleaded, looking at Lin Tang with tear-filled eyes, her expression utterly fragile.
Lin Tang was silent. "Why are you so insistent on having your shaless sister, who's acting like your pimp, contact that Wang fellow? You know he has designs on you. Sending you to him now is like throwing a lamb to the slaughter, isn't it?" he asked, completely bewildered.
Shen Youling's frail body swayed, and she nearly collapsed. "You care more about that than Grandpa's life? To save him, I don't care about any of that!" she blurted out in a fit of anger.
"Is that so?" Hearing this, the corner of Lin Tang's mouth twitched. He was completely exasperated. With a deadpan expression, he said, "I can save your grandfather. Just stop being so foolish from now on."
With that, he walked straight into the ICU.
"Uh—"
"What did he just say?"
"He can save Grandpa? Who does he think he is? How?"
Shen Jiayue and Dong Mingfeng were completely baffled. Shen Youling was startled as well and quickly hurried after him.
She watched as Lin Tang only glanced at Shen Qiushi for a mont before turning to a nurse and reciting a list of herbs and their precise weights. It was the recipe for the Chaoyuan Vitality Tonic, worth over a hundred million. While Shen Qiushi's vitality was severely depleted, he didn't actually require a treasure like the Centennial Elixir. One dose of this Chaoyuan Vitality Tonic would be enough to restore his vigor. A few more doses would undoubtedly cure him completely.
"What are you standing there for? Go get the herbs," Lin Tang said with a wave of his hand.

Imdiately, they began to jeer, mocking Lin Tang for putting on a show and asking who he thought he was fooling.
Shen Youling's disappointnt in Lin Tang deepened. For the sake of his ridiculous possessiveness, just to stop from asking another man for help, he'd rather risk Grandpa's life with a fabricated prescription!
"Lin Tang, get out!" Shen Youling pointed to the door, her voice resolute. "You're not welco here!"
