Seeing Lin Tang's naive expression as he asked such a ridiculous question, the other inmates scoffed.
"Kid, how can you be so naive?"
"Do you think we've just been wasting our ti all these years we've been locked up?"
"We learned a long ti ago how to lower our heart rates. We've also figured out exactly how much force we can use without triggering the electric shocks."
"So, want to learn? I can teach you, but first, you have to get on your knees and call 'Daddy'..." They taunted, reaching out to teach him a lesson and strip him of all his belongings.
"I didn't want to break the rules here," Lin Tang shrugged, "but you started it." He threw the first punch, a fast and powerful blow that instantly gave one man a gushing nosebleed. He followed up with a beautiful spinning kick that sent another man sprawling.
"OUCH!"
"AGH!"
Amid cries of pain, the remaining inmates all backed away. Their expressions weren't shocked or angry; instead, they looked triumphant. Based on their experience, Lin Tang's actions were certain to trigger the shock chanism. Once electrocuted, he would collapse, curl up, and scream in agony. Afterward, his body would go limp, leaving him with no strength to resist. This kid... He's still so green!
But in the next second, their smiles froze. They clearly heard the CRACKLE of electricity from Lin Tang's body, but he was completely unscathed. He took advantage of their daze to rush forward and knock down two more.
"How is that possible?"
"You... you... why aren't you afraid of the electricity?"
Shocked, they continued to retreat. One of them moved too quickly and carelessly, triggering his own shock collar. He imdiately collapsed like soone having an epileptic seizure, howling and trembling uncontrollably. Seeing this, the others felt a chill and imdiately slowed their movents. The consequence, however, was that Lin Tang easily caught up to them.
Lin Tang was a brilliant doctor. Even without using True Qi or physical strength, he could strike their acupoints or nerves, causing their heart rates to spike.
And so, it was a tragedy for all of them. One by one, they were electrocuted, leaving only Lin Tang standing.
The inmates in the other cells, who had witnessed the entire event, stared at Lin Tang as if they had seen a ghost.
Lin Tang smiled faintly and spun a tale. "I forgot to tell you, I was a poor student when I was young, always fighting and skipping class. Later, I got addicted to the internet. My parents sent to an internet addiction treatnt center, where I underwent electrotherapy for several years. At first, it was agonizing, but as they kept shocking , I gradually got used to it. Eventually, it even started to feel good. The day I was discharged, the entire treatnt center lined up to see off. They even gave a nickna: the Thunder King."
Everyone: "..."
"What's going on here? What's going on?"
"How dare you fight in here?"
THUMP, THUMP, THUMP. The sound of heavy footsteps rapidly approached as another group of prison guards arrived. They shouted reprimands, brandishing their remote controls threateningly.
They had long expected this; the newcor was bound to be bullied. They had seen this scenario play out countless tis. However, they were stunned by what they saw. "Huh? Why are they all on the ground while the new guy is still standing?" The prison guards were flabbergasted. It was the first ti they had ever encountered such a situation.
After one of the inmates recounted Lin Tang's story in a sycophantic manner, the guards gave Lin Tang strange looks, staring at him as if he were so newly discovered protected species.
"Hmph, I don't buy that crap. Jiaju, go to my office and get that thing."
"Yes, sir!"
Soon, a specially made stun baton was brought over. The head guard chuckled as he walked up to Lin Tang. "Since you're bragging, you won't mind if I test that claim, will you?"
Lin Tang gave him a cool glance. "Are you planning on torturing ?"
"Watch your mouth!"
"Get on the ground, hands on your head! Now!"
Several guards barked at him. The leader waved them back and said to Lin Tang, "You started a fight the mont you got here. You broke the rules first, so it's only right that I punish you. What, you got a problem with that?"
Before Lin Tang could reply, he viciously jabbed him with the special stun baton. A current far more powerful than that from the inmates' collars surged through Lin Tang's body.
Lin Tang was displeased and couldn't be bothered to feign a scream of pain. He simply stared coldly at the guard. "Are you done yet?"
"Interesting. Very interesting!" The leader's eyes lit up, like a child who had just found a new toy. He was a veteran here, having worked at the prison for many years, and he had long since grown bored. eting soone who wasn't afraid of electricity today naturally piqued his desire to "research" the matter further.
"n! Shackle him again and bring him to my office!"
"Right away!"
CLICK! Lin Tang was shackled once more and forcibly dragged out.
Seeing this, the other inmates began to gloat again. "Haha, that pretty boy got targeted by Gui Jianchou, the 'Killer Star,' as soon as he arrived. He's going to suffer now!"
"I wonder how Gui Jianchou will tornt him."
"Even if he's not afraid of electricity, he must be afraid of sothing else. Once Gui Jianchou finds out what it is, his life will beco a living nightmare."
"Who was the last guy Gui Jianchou treated as a toy? Oh, right, I rember! Old Scar! He only lasted half a month before killing himself by running into a wall..."
Hearing the crowd's chatter, Lin Tang's ears twitched. How boring.
Though Lin Tang hadn't moved a muscle, Gui Jianchou suddenly felt an invisible force crushing his heart, squeezing it inward. It felt as if all the blood in his body was being furiously drawn back into his heart.
"Gah—Gah—"
Gui Jianchou's face went deathly pale, his eyes bulging from their sockets. THUD. He collapsed heavily to the ground.
"Captain!"
"What's wrong? Wake up! Don't scare us!"
"What... what's happening?"
"Quick, get him to dical!"
"No, it was you! You did sothing to our captain! How dare you... Gah—Gah—"
