Just as Chen Shanchun had predicted, Shen Qiushi awoke incredibly weak and couldn't even utter a single sentence. After being fed so Rejuvenation Decoction, however, his complexion improved greatly within monts. This proved beyond a doubt that the Rejuvenation Decoction was real! Thoroughly convinced, Chen Shanchun hurried to apologize to Lin Tang.

"My dear grandson-in-law, thank goodness for you!" Shen Qiushi exclaid, sitting up and excitedly grabbing Lin Tang's hand.

"Grandpa…" Shen Youling's initial joy faded, replaced by acute embarrassnt at the term "grandson-in-law." She stamred, explaining that she and Lin Tang had already ended their marriage.

"What?" Shen Qiushi nearly leaped three feet into the air, his eyebrows shooting up. "What is going on?!" After Shen Youling explained the specifics, he exploded. "You damn fools!" Shen Qiushi roared, looking as if he wanted to slap them. "Are you all blind? Driving Lin Tang away and even announcing it in the news… You—you're really trying to anger to death!"

"Grandpa, I was wrong, I'm sorry! Please, calm down…" Shen Youling fell to her knees.

With tears welling in his eyes, Shen Qiushi turned to Lin Tang. "My dear grandson-in-law, I hope you won't hold this against them. Co back, please. Reconcile with Youling. Look, she knows she was wrong now."

Shen Youling lowered her head, remaining silent. In her heart, she too hoped Lin Tang would forgive her and co back.

Chen Yuyan, enjoying the spectacle from the sidelines, watched on. Lin Tang will definitely agree, right? After all, who would be willing to give up such a beautiful wife?

When they heard Shen Qiushi's accusation of being "blind," both Sun Siwei and Chen Shanchun felt incredibly awkward, as if the scolding was ant for them as well. Witnessing this, they both chid in to diate.

"Every couple quarrels," Chen Shanchun said. "It's just a misunderstanding that can be cleared up. Master Lin, please, just forgive your wife."

"Yes, yes, that's right…" Sun Siwei added.

However, Lin Tang simply shook his head and said calmly, "I'm sorry, Grandpa Shen, but a good horse doesn't return to old pastures."

"You…" Shen Youling looked up, her gaze fixed on him mournfully.

"Huh?" Chen Yuyan was stunned. Lin Tang actually refused? Isn't that a bit petty? A man should be more magnanimous.

She was just about to try persuading him herself when, as an anxious Shen Qiushi opened his mouth to speak again, Lin Tang, now growing annoyed, cut him off. "Grandpa Shen, you need to continue taking the dicine for three more days, twice a day. Don't forget. I have other things to attend to, so I'll be leaving now."

With that said, he bolted out the door. He was thoroughly disgusted, especially when he thought of how Shen Youling had shielded Shang Yuenong, a woman who would even tornt a small child. Shen Youling, for her part, hadn't had a chance to tell him that she had already driven Shang Yuenong away. She still didn't even know the specifics of what Shang Yuenong had done wrong.

"Shen Youling! You unfilial wretch!" Shen Qiushi bellowed, his chest heaving with rage as he berated her once more. "If you don't bring my grandson-in-law back, then don't you bother coming back either!"

"Master Lin, please wait!" Chen Shanchun called out, running after him and panting for breath. Fortunately, Lin Tang wasn't actually in a hurry and hadn't gone far, so the slow-moving old man managed to catch up.

"What do you want?" Lin Tang asked.

Chen Shanchun's old face flushed red with embarrassnt. "Well, it's like this… Before, you wrote down the recipe for the Rejuvenation Decoction for my granddaughter. I mistakenly thought it was fake, so… so I threw it away… I'm so sorry. I was hoping you could write another copy. I'm willing to pay a high price for it; I would never take advantage of you."

"You threw it away?" Lin Tang frowned and didn't respond imdiately, making Chen Shanchun all the more anxious.

Chen Yuyan rushed over as well, patting her chest to catch her breath. She apologized softly, hoping Lin Tang wouldn't be angry with her grandfather.

"So you really want to buy it with money?" Lin Tang asked.

"Yes, please, na your price."

"But I don't care about money. I'm not interested in it."

"Ah, this—" Chen Shanchun was left speechless.

Chen Yuyan pursed her lips tightly, then the corners of her mouth turned down. She lowered her head, fighting back a smile.

"I'm serious!" Lin Tang insisted.

"Yes, yes, of course. We understand," Chen Shanchun said quickly.

"Then, Brother Lin, is there anything else you like?" Chen Yuyan chid in.

"I have a great need for Centennial Elixirs—the older, the better. If you have any, you could bring ten or twenty of them in exchange. It would be even better if you had things like Earth Spirit Ginseng, Gold Spirit Marrow, Wood Spirit Fruit, or Water Spirit Crystal."

Chen Shanchun's cheek twitched with every ingredient Lin Tang nad. Though a single Centennial Elixir was worth tens of millions, he would rather pay Lin Tang a billion in cash than part with a dozen or two of them. The reason was simple: they were far too rare. They had a price, but there was no market for them. A family like the Shens could scrape together tens of millions without issue, but if you asked them to produce a single Centennial Elixir, they would be utterly clueless.

"Alright," Chen Shanchun said, clenching his teeth and making a snap decision. "I promise. As soon as I get back, I will send over five Centennial Elixirs, and I will continue to collect more after that."

"Oh? Your family has five in stock right now?" Lin Tang turned to Chen Yuyan. "Hey, you told earlier you didn't have a single one. Why did you lie to ?"

Chen Yuyan's cheeks flushed. She retorted indignantly, "Don't you know that the prettier a girl is, the better she lies?"

"But you're not pretty."

Chen Yuyan was left speechless.

Since they had reached an agreent, Lin Tang once again wrote down the formula for the Rejuvenation Decoction. Chen Shanchun accepted it with both hands, his excitent palpable. This ti, he certainly wouldn't be tearing it up and tossing it in the trash. He thumped his chest, assuring Lin Tang he wouldn't get the short end of the stick. Once they began comrcial developnt of the recipe, Lin Tang would receive a share of the profits—it wasn't a one-ti buyout.

"I hope you'll grant exclusive rights to it and won't share it with anyone else…" Chen Shanchun added, rubbing his hands together.

"Sure, no problem," Lin Tang agreed. He had no intention of selling the recipe to multiple buyers anyway.

After sending Chen Shanchun and his granddaughter on their way, Lin Tang found himself with nothing to do. After a mont's thought, he decided to head to Wang Shouzhen's ho. He had already found out the address and knew exactly where to go. When he arrived at the Wang Family's villa, he was surprised to see that its grounds were even more expansive than Villa No. 1.

What a ridiculously rich tycoon! Lin Tang sighed.

Just as he was about to step forward and knock on the gate, a string of barking erupted.

WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!

Seven or eight large, ferocious dogs rushed out, baring their fangs. Drool dripped from their mouths, and their eyes shone with an eerie light. The gate wasn't locked; they simply pushed it open with their bodies. Like a pack of wolves, they surrounded Lin Tang and lunged, ready to bite.

"Haha, good dogs! Keep biting! Bite that little thief to death!" a woman called out, clapping her hands in excitent.

"Hmph!" Lin Tang had no patience for her or her dogs' nasty behavior. He unleashed his Shadowless Kick, delivering a rapid series of flying kicks. THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

AWOOO—

All the vicious dogs were sent flying. They crashed heavily to the ground, shaking their heads, unable to get back up.

"Ahhh, my babies!" Shi Yanhong cried out. She ca running over, her high heels clacking on the pavent, and covered her mouth as tears began to stream down her face. Her heart ached as she went from one dog to the next, gently touching them. Seeing them bleeding from their mouths and noses, not knowing if they would even survive, her grief instantly turned to fury.

Pointing a finger at Lin Tang, she shrieked, "I'll kill your entire family, you damned thief! How dare you hurt my babies! How dare you! I want you dead! I'm going to chop you into pieces and feed you to them!"

Her screams brought a group of guards rushing out, led by an elderly butler. With them was Han Jinlong, the martial artist known as Vajra Iron Fist who had previously saved Wang Shouzhen. Although Han Jinlong had been eager to witness the prowess of an Innate master like Wei Shanhe, he hadn't been invited to the banquet and wouldn't have dared to show up unannounced. As a result, he had no idea who Lin Tang was.

"Madam, what happened?" the old butler asked, bowing to Shi Yanhong.

Han Jinlong also wore a look of concern and instinctively moved to help her up, but he restrained himself when he saw the crowd of guards. Instead, he shot an angry glare at Lin Tang. "What kind of cur are you, daring to cause trouble here?" he barked.

Shi Yanhong shot him a look and corrected him, "He's just a damn thief. He's not worthy of being called a dog."

"Oh, right," Han Jinlong said, exchanging a look with her before turning back to Lin Tang. "What are you, then?"

Lin Tang was speechless. Are this scummy pair for real? Are they trying to be codians? He couldn't be bothered with them and addressed the old butler directly. "Go and get Wang Shouzhen. I have business with him."

"You know our Second Young Master? And you are…?" the old butler inquired.

"My na is—" Lin Tang began to say.

But Shi Yanhong exploded. "Who cares who he is! He hurt my babies, and that's not acceptable! Get him! I'll take full responsibility if you kill him!"

"Yes, Ma'am!"

The guards obeyed imdiately and rushed toward Lin Tang. They had done this sort of thing many tis before and were well-practiced. And then… just like the ferocious dogs, they were all sent flying.

"Oh, a trained fighter, are you? Not bad!" Han Jinlong sneered. "Taste Granddaddy's Vajra Iron Fist!" He threw a punch that carried the force of a pouncing tiger, radiating power.

In his view, Lin Tang was far too young. Even if he'd trained since he was a child, how strong could he be? As a veteran of the martial world, bullying a junior like this would be child's play.

Shi Yanhong had witnessed Han Jinlong's strength firsthand, both publicly and privately. For a while, she had enjoyed sneaking out to nightclubs, stirring up trouble with admirers, and then letting Han Jinlong teach them a lesson as her personal bodyguard. She loved the feeling of being a damsel in distress saved by her hero and had absolute confidence in him. A vicious smirk spread across her face as she looked forward to watching Lin Tang get trampled and beaten to a pulp. Now that will be a beautiful sight!
