"What? You want to go to Zhou Rushan's house and collect a debt for you?"
Mo Pinglan, who had been covered in goosebumps just a mont ago, had already steeled herself for the ultimate sacrifice. But after hearing Lin Tang's words, she was utterly stunned.
"That's right. 4.9 billion. Not a single penny less. If you handle this for , I'll let you stay. If not, you can go right back where you ca from," Lin Tang said as he stood up.
"But—"
"Alright, I'm going to prepare so dicine now. Don't co bothering unless it's important."
And just like that, Lin Tang abandoned the two beauties, excitedly grabbed the dicine box, and hurried to the kitchen, leaving them to stare at each other in dismay.
"...Has he always been like this?" Mo Pinglan asked.
"I've only been living here for a few days myself, so I don't know him that well," Lee Encai said, shaking her head. Then, looking a bit awkward and uncomfortable, she asked, "Um, are you going to move in too?"
Mo Pinglan nodded seriously. "As long as the Master doesn't drive away, I will naturally move in to take care of his daily needs. I'm off to collect the debt now. Could you please get the door for ?"
With that, she walked out of the villa, her fighting spirit soaring.
She made her way directly to Zhou Rushan's estate. The guards there were idle and bored, but their eyes lit up when they saw a voluptuous beauty approaching.
Tsk, tsk, look at that slender waist! I bet embracing it would feel heavenly…
A tall, burly guard stepped forward with a lecherous expression. "Hey there, gorgeous—AHH!"
He let out a bloodcurdling scream as Mo Pinglan twisted his sturdy arm out of shape with a single, fluid motion of her delicate hand.
"What the—?" another guard uttered, his face frozen in shock, before he was silenced by a swift karate chop to the side of his neck from Mo Pinglan, sending him crumbling to the ground.
Her expression remained placid as she continued to walk forward.
"Where did this wench co from, daring to cause trouble at the Zhou Family's—OUCH!"
"She's tough! Let's get her together!"
By the ti Zhou Rushan and Song Chaohu ca out, they were greeted by the sight of their n strewn across the ground. A few specks of blood dotted Mo Pinglan's cheeks. She gently wiped them away with her fingers as she looked up at them, her gaze as indifferent as if she were looking at pigs and dogs.
"It's you!" Zhou Rushan had a vivid mory of Zhu Yingning, a woman who commanded respect from even Huangfu Zhan and Wei Shanhe. He naturally also rembered her attendant, Mo Pinglan.
I can't believe she looks so delicate but is so brutal… She's clearly here with bad intentions, but we haven't done anything to offend her!
When they cautiously asked Mo Pinglan her purpose for being there, they were stunned by her answer.
"What? You're here to collect a debt for Lin Tang? No way! How did he beco your new master? Didn't your old master have a grudge against him?!" Zhou Rushan and the others were utterly baffled.
Mo Pinglan glanced at the ti. "I want to see 4.9 billion in the account by eight o'clock tonight. If you fail, you will all die."
"Ah? Please, no..."
"We're dood!"
Zhou Rushan and his n were overco with despair. They had been so sure that Yan Renjie would kill Lin Tang that they hadn't even bothered to start liquidating their assets. Even after witnessing Yan Renjie's crushing defeat, they had clung to the foolish hope that a more powerful expert would appear to deal with Lin Tang in a few days. But Lin Tang was still alive and well.
Now, the debt collector had arrived and issued a death notice. What were they supposed to do?
「anwhile.」
Lin Tang drank the dicine and focused his entire being on breaking through his bottleneck. As his True Qi cyclically pulsed out of his body and was drawn back in, every object in his room began to float. They flew about chaotically before shattering into pieces, which were then swept up by the True Qi into a swirling tornado.
The vortex spun faster and faster, its power growing more imnse by the second. Even the house itself began to tremble, which gave Lee Encai in the next room a terrible fright.
Is this an earthquake?
"ROAR!"
Lin Tang sat, immovable as a mountain, in the eye of the storm—a figure like a god, or a demon.
Finally, all the debris was ground into a fine powder by the True Qi. It converged behind him, morphing into the visible form of a dragon's head. Its blood-red mouth was agape and so lifelike that it let out a thunderous roar like that of a lion, as if it had truly co alive.
It surged toward the sky, but then it suddenly shook. It seed to look back with reluctance, like a weathered statue, before gradually dispersing and vanishing from sight.
Lin Tang opened his eyes, a look of frustration and deep confusion on his face.
I clearly t all the conditions for a breakthrough. Why did it fail at the final mont? Where did I go wrong?
He erged from his room with a grim expression. Lee Encai rushed over, explaining that she was sure she'd felt an earthquake, but there were no reports on the local news. She had even ssaged her friends and family, and they all said they hadn't felt a thing.
"How strange," Lee Encai said, scratching her head.
"Get out of the way. Can't you see I'm frustrated?" Lin Tang shot her a sidelong glance, in no mood to deal with the simple-minded girl.
"Geez, why are you so moody?" Lee Encai muttered.
Although Lin Tang's breakthrough had failed, he was thankfully uninjured. However, his whole body felt off, and the Dantian in his lower abdon was particularly uncomfortable. He flopped onto the sofa, massaging his stomach with one hand while covering his eyes with the other. As he rested, his face grew slightly pale, as if he had fallen ill.
Suddenly, he felt a warm little hand reach for him.
"What are you doing?" he snapped, his eyes flying open to glare at Lee Encai.
She looked aggrieved. "I just saw that your stomach was bothering you and wanted to help massage it!"
Perhaps because she had been idle for so long, the usually thick-skinned girl had beco sowhat sensitive. Is it because I'm just a freeloader here, making no contribution? Is that why he's getting sick of ? Sigh!
"Alright, stop pouting. It was my fault. I shouldn't have taken my frustration over my own failure out on you," Lin Tang said, pinching her cheek.
"Failure? What failure?" Lee Encai asked.
Lin Tang didn't answer, simply telling her to continue massaging. It was much like scratching an itch: doing it yourself yielded no sensation, but when soone else did it, the feeling was intense. The sa applied to massages. Massaging oneself was pointless, but having a little beauty like Lee Encai do it...
It felt… truly comfortable.
Lin Tang's expression relaxed, and he encouraged her to apply more pressure.
Is he really ordering around like a maid? Lee Encai grumbled to herself, but she nevertheless pulled a chair over to sit down. She then leaned forward, putting all of her weight into pressing down on his abdon.
As she worked, her eyes suddenly widened as she stared at Lin Tang.
A tent was gradually taking shape under his pants.
This… this…
Although she had never seen one in real life, she had secretly watched a few adult films, so she wasn't a complete innocent. Nor was she foolish enough to ask what it was. She desperately wanted to tell Lin Tang to watch himself, but he seed to have fallen asleep, completely oblivious.
Lee Encai's face flushed crimson. She felt a mix of embarrassnt and thrill, and she wanted to flee.
"Why did you stop?" Lin Tang asked with a casual yawn.
"How can you even ask that? When you're like this, how am I supposed to keep going?" Lee Encai retorted, both shy and annoyed.
Lin Tang glanced down, his expression remaining perfectly natural—neither lewd nor ashad. "It's a very normal phenonon. Is there any need to make such a fuss? I only asked you to massage my stomach, not to go any lower. Honestly, so unprofessional."
"Eh?" Lee Encai blinked. So it's my fault? That's true, I guess. I've heard that in so bathhouses, the attendants sotis run into this situation when scrubbing clients. It really is perfectly normal.
Having rationalized it, Lee Encai cald down and resud her work.
As ti went on, she watched it beco more and more exaggerated, and her mind began to wander again.
After all, I've only ever seen them in movies. I wonder… are they exactly the sa in real life? I'm kind of curious to see for myself!
Lee Encai peeked at Lin Tang and saw that his eyes were still closed. She slowly tilted her body, trying to adjust her line of sight, but no matter how she shifted, she couldn't get a clear view.
So, she mustered her courage and hooked her thumb under the waistband of his pants. Good. It was the elastic kind. Forcibly suppressing her racing heart, her knuckles white with effort, she began to pull the fabric up, bit by bit.
Just as she was about to get her first real look, Lin Tang's hand shot out and clamped down on hers, catching her in the act.
He exhaled a blast of scorching air, so hot that it stead.
"Do you realize," he said, his voice low, "that I'm extrely fired up right now?"
