Before Shen Youling could react, Lee Encai shoved the girl who was trying to kiss Lin Tang.
"How could he not be? He is!" the girl slurred, straining to open her eyes.
Lee Encai caught the stench of alcohol on her and said to Shen Youling, "She's just a drunken lunatic. Ignore her."
Lin Tang wiped a lipstick print from his face. "I don't even know her..."
"Lin Tang, my dear husband, are you really abandoning ?" the girl interrupted.
Lee Encai: "???"
Shen Youling: "..."
She even called out his na. Does he really not know her?
Lin Tang frowned, just about to argue, when a bald man ca staggering out, letting out a drunken burp. He grabbed the girl's wrist with a lecherous grin. "Shi Yanan, didn't you say you were going to the restroom? What are you doing over here? Co on, let's go back and keep drinking!"
"Let go of ! My husband is here! I want to go ho with him!" Shi Yanan insisted, pointing at Lin Tang.
"Bullshit! Your sister already told everything. She said you're still a virgin and took my money to sell you to for your first ti! What kind of damn husband is this?!" the bald man roared. He then pointed a finger at Lin Tang, warning him not to ddle and to get lost imdiately.
Before Lin Tang could speak, the man slamd a palm against his abdon, unleashing a surge of imnse power.

Lin Tang flew backward and crashed heavily to the ground.
"Ugh..." Lin Tang gasped weakly, his face alternating between flushed red and deathly pale. He looked as if he could die at any mont.
"Hey, why did you hit him!" Lee Encai shouted, pointing an accusing finger.
Shen Youling rushed over to help Lin Tang up.
"Don't move! I think it's broken! It hurts so much!" Lin Tang groaned, winking at her before he began to writhe and cry out in pain.
"ARGH—"
Shen Youling understood in a flash. She knew he was faking it and played along. "Hold on! I'll call a cab right now and get you to the hospital!"
Feng Nailin and a few other classmates ca over, wanting to help. Most of the others, however, quickly backed away, not daring to get involved. They had figured it out. Regardless of whether this girl, Shi Yanan, had sothing going on with Lin Tang, the bald man was absolutely not soone to be trifled with.
"The wheels of fortune really do turn. First, it was Hua Fengchen and Shang Yuenong getting beaten while Lin Tang watched the show. How much ti has passed, and now he's the one taking a beating?"

Lin Tang glanced over. It was the Mighty Iron Fist, Han Jinlong.

"Good timing!" The bald man showed no fear, eting Han Jinlong's attack with his own fists and feet. After a few exchanges, they separated and faced off again.
Han Jinlong declared righteously, "Yanan, don't be afraid! I won't allow anyone to hurt you!"
"Brother... Han..." Shi Yanan stamred, her face filled with gratitude.
"Big words! If you'd shown up when I wasn't drunk, I might have been a little wary of you. But now? Hahaha, just watch smash you to pieces!" the bald man cackled, his body quaking. Instantly, his shirt shredded, revealing chiseled, knotted muscles beneath. A thick stench of alcohol mixed with a powerful aura radiated from him.
"BLECH—" Lee Encai nearly gagged on the sll. She quickly worked with Shen Youling to move Lin Tang farther away.
anwhile, Han Jinlong continued his brawl with the bald man, who was now using a drunken boxing style. The brutal sight of fists hitting flesh stunned Feng Nailin and the other students.
Damn! This is terrifying! If a single punch like that landed on us, we'd probably cough up blood and die on the spot!
But with Lin Tang's exceptional eyes, he saw through their act. Their fight looked fierce, but it was just a show. They were even whispering to each other as they fought.
"Have you checked him out? Are Lin Tang's martial arts really gone?"

Once he was gone, Shi Yanan let out a long sigh of relief. Her body swayed, and she was about to collapse.
"Yanan, it's alright now!" Han Jinlong rushed to support her, but he let go just as quickly, maintaining the posture of a perfect gentleman.
"Thank you, Brother Han! If it weren't for your tily rescue, I don't know what would have happened to !" Shi Yanan said with sincere gratitude.
Han Jinlong waved her thanks away modestly, though inwardly he was ecstatic. I should strike while the iron is hot. I'll have her in my arms soon enough.
Over on Lin Tang's side, Lee Encai had hailed a cab. With Shen Youling supporting his arm, they were about to get in and head to the hospital.
"Stop right there!" Han Jinlong suddenly dashed over and slamd the car door shut, then told the driver to get lost. With a mocking sneer, he said, "Lin Tang, I bet you never thought you'd see a day like this, did you?"
Lin Tang's mouth twitched. He fought the urge to slap the drama queen to death and coughed, "We have no feud between us. Are you going to kick a man while he's down?"
"No feud? You bastard, you injured my hand, and it still hasn't fully healed!" Han Jinlong roared, his eyes wide with fury. He grabbed Lin Tang by the collar. "And don't you dare tell you've forgotten Shi Yanhong! A single sentence from you got her kicked out of the Wang Family. I have to avenge her for that!"
He gestured for Shi Yanan to co closer. "Yanan, look! This is the bastard, Lin Tang, who ruined your sister. Tell , how should I deal with him?"
Shi Yanan bit her lip.
She recalled how Shi Yanhong had promised to marry her off to a handso young hero and had even shown her a photo of Lin Tang. It had sent her into such a flurry of daydreams that she couldn't sleep properly. And now... she was face-to-face with the man himself, but he was a crippled hero. What a complicated feeling!
"Why don't we just forget it?" she said softly. "When will the cycle of vengeance ever end?"
"Forget it? No way!" Han Jinlong was speechless. Shi Yanhong beca so vicious and twisted, but her little sister turned out to be a naive damsel. "Lin Tang, don't bla for taking advantage of your misfortune. I won't kill you. I'll just cripple one of your arms as punishnt!"
He tightened his grip on Lin Tang's wrist, about to snap it.
Lee Encai spoke up. "You're a retainer of the Wang Family, right? I am Lee Encai of the Li Family. Give so face and let Brother Lin go."
"...Most of your Li Family has already left Jiangbei. With just you here, why should I give you any face?" Han Jinlong was not the least bit intimidated. As his eyes darted around, a wicked idea even sparked in his mind—to abduct both Lee Encai and maybe even Shen Youling.

Lin Tang looked at Shen Youling, his expression asking a single question. Do I still need to pretend?
