"Be careful, this isn’t an ordinary brat!"
The smoke screen slowly dissipated, revealing Ruri’s Sharingan and Ayane’s Byakugan.
As the only two bloodline clans of Konoha, the Uchiha and Hyuga have made life difficult for Ninja Village ninjas in every Great Ninja War.
The Sharingan, in particular, has earned the reputation of ’One-on-One, Avoid It’.
The chance of winning in a one-on-one fight with a Sharingan ninja is nearly zero.
When Ruri and Ayane revealed their bloodlines, the attacking ninjas were all on edge.
The first ninja to attack Ayane was rely a Chunin from the Hidden Sand Village, but in the smoke, Ayane, with her Byakugan, easily handled him. Even if carelessness had a part to play, under those eyes’ watch, it was impossible to pull off any minor tricks.
Not to ntion Ruri’s Sharingan watched nacingly from the side.
As for Hakushi, the inconspicuous dical Ninja, they actively ignored him.
After all, a dical Ninja is just a sheep waiting to be slaughtered once the enemy’s main forces are defeated.
"In that case, just separate the three of them!"
A ninja wearing a Hidden Sand headband stared intently, gathering a massive amount of visible Chakra in his hands before slamming them to the ground.
"Earth Style: Earth Splitting Palm!"
Bang!
The expressions of the three changed imdiately as the ground began to crack like an earthquake, with a large area affected. With no ti to co up with a strategy, they had to attach Chakra to their feet to avoid being thrown off by the strong vibrations.
Seeing the trio disrupted by the ground shaking, the remaining ninjas leaped forward, filled with killing intent.
"This guy..."
Ruri’s gaze locked onto the Sand Ninja using Earth Style; his skilled Earth Style Ninjutsu had imnse power and perfect battlefield separation ability. He seed more like a Hidden Rock Ninja than a Sand Ninja.
The scarlet Two-Tomoe Sharingan began to spin, and without retreating as the enemies advanced, faced them head-on.
"Against a Sharingan, you just need to avoid eye contact..."
The Sand Ninja facing Ruri had, for now, identified them as Sand Ninjas since they were indeed wearing Hidden Sand headbands.
Despite Ruri’s suspicions about the Sand division’s identity, they accepted this for now.
But clearly, among them, there were ninjas with hidden identities.
The Sand Ninja who engaged with Ruri was confident.
When joining the present Great Ninja War, experienced village ninjas had warned them that if encountering a Sharingan Uchiha Ninja, they should avoid direct eye contact to not succumb to Illusion Techniques.
Even if avoiding eyes made one vulnerable to attacks, as a Special Jonin, he just needed to hold off the opponent montarily for others to swarm and ensure victory.
Thinking such, he used a Kunai to block Ruri’s Kunai.
However, the fierce force surging into his arm drained his face of color.
He even imagined hearing the cracking of bones.
His body froze montarily, and montarily lifting his head, he t a pair of scarlet eyes.
In an instant, his consciousness fell into chaos, eyes vacant.
Ruri swiped the Kunai across his neck, disappearing with Instantaneous Body Jutsu as the blood sprayed, seamlessly moving toward the next target.
In the back, watching Ruri and Ayane unleash havoc, Hakushi showed no surprise.
Though the enemy was formidable, they were up against two bloodline ninjas, known in the Ninja Realm, with Sharingan and Byakugan; a short defeat seed unlikely.
After all, the strongest of these ninjas were preoccupied with or trying to contain Sakumo.
Their primary strategy appeared to be containing Sakumo, swiftly eliminating Hakushi and then join forces to take down Sakumo, the notorious Konoha White Fang.
Such a feat would greatly demoralize Konoha.
Yet, they underestimated Sakumo’s prowess, and gravely misjudged Ruri and Ayane’s fighting capabilities.
Though Ayane couldn’t be compared to a Jonin quite yet, Ruri was entirely at Jonin level in comprehensive abilities.
Coupled with the daunting Sharingan, she required at least two Jonin to suppress her.
While thinking behind a large tree, the ground around Hakushi suddenly split, with sothing about to erge.
"Earth Style: Double Suicide Decapitation Jutsu—"
Poof!
Interrupted his ninjutsu release.
The Kunai stabbed into the hard earth.
Hakushi maintained his crouching posture calmly.
"Don’t surprise like that..."
The ninja hidden in the soil lost all signs of life.
He nonchalantly extracted the Kunai, swirled the soil to cover the blood-stained hole, smoothing it over, as if nothing had occurred.
He then fetched a smoke bomb from the Ninja Tool Bag.
Thrown towards Ayane.
The smoke bomb burst, blanketing the field in thick white smoke; the enemies, muddled and losing sight, tried retreating.
Another smoke bomb expanded the smoke cloud more.
For Ayane, this was an ideal battlefield.
If they could use Earth Style to split the battlefield, then Hakushi could create an exclusive battle environnt for the Byakugan using smoke bombs.
Additionally, smoke reached Ruri’s area too.
But since childhood, engaging in combat gas with Hakushi with her eyes closed, Ruri wasn’t hampered without the Sharingan’s Illusion Technique. She rely needed to regain the rhythm of fighting as she did with closed eyes from before.
And so, these Sand Ninjas must have harbored resentnt towards Hakushi, the feeble dical Ninja pelting smoke bombs from the backline.
Witnessing the imnse impact a simple smoke bomb could exert, Hakushi pondered.
He needs to develop specialized smoke bombs with prolonged effects and extensive coverage; during battles, he only focuses on dical care and throwing smoke bombs.
If this tactic succeeds, it would beco the unique strategy of their Sakumo squad.
"Damn it! Take out that little brat throwing the smoke bombs first!"
Unable to endure the blinding environnt any longer, a Hidden Sand Jonin roared in rage, almost spitting blood.
Fighting blind in the smoke was a sure way to get killed.
Yet, with open eyes, their vision was extrely limited, while the enemy grasped their moves perfectly.
This tactic was imnsely frustrating.
Clearly possessing a stronger setup that could soon dominate, but after Hakushi occasionally threw a smoke bomb, the battle turned.
To confront Hakushi, they had to overco Ruri and Ayane together.
Also perplexed, wasn’t there a ninja proficient in Earth Style stealth who went after him? Why hadn’t they acted yet?
Considering his re Genin-level dical ninja strength, it shouldn’t take this long to deal with him.
