"I know, you've told that countless tis before. Father, you've made a special trip here today, you don't intend for to spend it being lectured, do you?"
Koyuki sighed.
Only at tis like this does she not need to put on a stern and cold facade outside, and can act according to her own mood.
At first, she thought becoming the Queen of the Land of Snow was sowhat amusing.
But as soon as Sandayu started making her study and formally handle governnt affairs, she realized what true hell was.
And Sandayu was the demon that crawled out of hell.
Sandayu could only smile wryly, though she had ascended to the throne, her innocent and lively personality remained unchanged.
However, protecting Koyuki is indeed the duty he, as a servant, should fulfill.
"Koyuki, Sandayu is doing it for your own good, try not to make him upset all the ti."
"I understand, Father. Did you co this ti specifically to visit Koyuki?"
Koyuki looked expectantly at Hakushi.
"Yes, sort of. I've also brought you a gift, hoping you'll like it."
Hakushi said with a mysterious smile.
"A gift?"
Koyuki tilted her head with a puzzled expression.
Sandayu rembered that when Hakushi ca, he brought along a sealed box.
That must be the so-called gift for Koyuki.
What could it be?
Sandayu looked over.
Hakushi walked to a sealed box, and under Koyuki's expectant gaze, he tore open the seal and took out the item inside.
"Uh... Father, is this the gift you brought for ?"
The anticipation on Koyuki's face turned to astonishnt as she pointed to the strange device Hakushi had taken out, her face full of questions.
This strange device should belong to a type of machinery, much like the heater left by her father Kazahana Sosetsu.
Entirely black, it looked like a jet-black iron box.
"Yes."
Hakushi nodded.
Koyuki looked perplexed, how was this strange chanical device supposed to be played with?
Hakushi smiled slightly and walked to the room switch, turned off the lights, and instantly the room dimd down.
He walked back to the black machinery, and with skillful hands began to operate the machine.
A light source imdiately shot out from a hole in the black box, creating a projection on the wall not far away, brightening the room a little.
The projections on the wall displayed various scenes: endless rivers, unending mountains, and vast oceans.
The sceneries of the four seasons were presented one by one in the light and shadow.
The sounds of the wind, the sound of snow, and various natural sounds were tily played out as well.
Koyuki and Sandayu were instantly captivated by the scenery above.
Of course, they were attracted not just by the scenery but also by the novelty brought by this strange black box.
"Father, this is..."
Koyuki instinctively took a few steps forward, her little face growing excited.
It was the first ti she had seen such beautiful scenes.
"This is a newly developed device from the Land of Demons that records images and sounds, called a projector. This is a portable projector, and this is the gift I brought you. Do you like it, Koyuki?"
Hakushi affectionately patted Koyuki's little head.
Koyuki nodded heavily, expressing her liking.
She stood in front of the wall, her eyes unblinking as she stared at the magnificent scenes displayed.
"Since you have been here all the ti, with not many opportunities to see the world outside. With this, you can reside in the palace and still enjoy the scenery outside abundantly, without getting bored or frustrated."
"Yes, I really like this gift, Father."
Koyuki's face lit up with a very happy smile.
Upon seeing such scenes, a voice in her heart told her to record all the beautiful scenes and sounds in the world, making them the most precious mories.
"This gift is indeed wonderful."
Sandayu also praised from the side.
"I'll leave this task to you, Sandayu."
Hakushi said.
"Rest assured, I will certainly endeavor to accomplish this task. Then we can also record the conditions of the people of the Land of Snow, letting Koyuki understand the hardships of the world, and constantly encourage herself. Mr. Hakushi, you've truly put a lot of effort into Her Highness Koyuki's education."
Sandayu nodded repeatedly with gratitude, already having thought of a series of plans on how to further expand Koyuki's learning.
With this device called a projector, it indeed solved his urgent needs.
"..."
Hakushi sensed Sandayu might have misunderstood sothing.
Wasn't his intention already very clear? He rely wanted Koyuki to relax a bit amidst her studies.
Yet Sandayu said such a thing. If it increased Koyuki's burden as a result, surely that wasn't his fault?
Fortunately, Koyuki was still engrossed in the images projected by the projector, not noticing Sandayu's words, or she might have sharply rebuked Sandayu.
Leaving Koyuki alone in the room to watch the recordings, Hakushi and Sandayu walked out.
"Mr. Hakushi, this ti you ca to the Land of Snow because of the Chakra Armor, didn't you?"
Though phrased as a question, Sandayu was quite certain of Hakushi's other purpose for coming here.
His work in the Land of Demons is very busy, and since it isn't a festival period now, it definitely could not be rely to visit his adoptive daughter Koyuki that he ca to the Land of Snow.
"Yes, my purpose for coming to the Land of Snow this ti is to inspect the research status of the Chakra Armor at the Ice Mountain Base."
