Danzo ignored the two responsible for logistics, Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu, and instead directed his sharp gaze toward Hiruzen.
The reason he participated in this eting was because the Uchiha seed to have adopted a different strategy than in the past, which intrigued him.
Hiruzen nodded and said, "They wish to select territory in the village anew."
"Wasn't a large piece of land already allocated to them? Moreover, it's larger than the previous Uchiha Clan Land."
Danzo replied impassively.
"Even so, that land is too far from the village center."
"To make a fuss over such a trivial matter is petty. Nonetheless, this proposal cannot be ignored; they may already harbor dark intentions."
Looking at his friend who symbolized darkness, Hiruzen was slightly speechless.
To judge the Uchiha as having sinister motives just like that seed too arbitrary.
"The Fourth Hokage's last words warned us to be cautious of the Mangekyo Sharingan. The Uchiha Clan, perhaps they've long allied with renegade ninjas."
Hiruzen and the other two were already accustod to Danzo's opinions.
Among the upper echelons, it was undoubtedly Danzo who held the greatest prejudice against the Uchiha.
The Root's initial establishnt was also related to monitoring the Uchiha.
"I'll have the Anbu proceed with an investigation. As for the Nine-tailed incident back then, it's still uncertain if there was any connection with the Uchiha in the village."
Hiruzen suspected Danzo did it intentionally.
With various incidents occurring, his Anbu personnel began to disperse.
Thus, the power used to suppress the Root decreased.
Therefore, while assigning the Anbu, there should be an added vigilance towards the Root's movents.
Danzo snorted, evidently dissatisfied with this result.
Hiruzen paid no heed to Danzo's discontent and then raised another matter.
"Let's set aside the Uchiha matter; there's another important issue to discuss."
Danzo, ready to leave, sat back in his chair upon hearing Hiruzen had more to explain, and glanced at him.
Hiruzen took out a file and extracted a docunt, placing it in front of the three.
"These are the docunts of the transfer students from the Land of Demons; take a look."
"Transfer students from the Land of Demons?"
"Mahiru Ichihi, Princess and the adopted daughter of Mire Witch from the Land of Demons, greatly admires our Konoha's culture and wishes to study at our Ninja School."
From Hiruzen's relaxed tone, he seed quite willing to take on this matter.
Not to ntion the prosperous comrcial prospects of the Land of Demons, having a princess from a neutral country enroll at Konoha Ninja School was a handso complint to Konoha.
Otherwise, why wouldn't they choose Hidden Cloud or Hidden Sand Ninja Villages?
Choosing Konoha clearly indicated an acknowledgnt of Konoha Village.
For Konoha, which had few allies internationally, it was an unexpected pleasure.
"Mahiru Ichihi... the Mire Witch's adopted daughter? It's the first I've heard."
But this matter cannot be false; a verification from the Mire Witch in the Land of Demons would confirm its truth.
"It's also my first ti hearing about it, but with the Mire Witch's handwritten letter confirming this princess's identity, there's no dispute. What do you think?"
Hiruzen asked for the opinions of the three.
Danzo glanced at it briefly and uninterestedly, stood up, and walked toward the eting room's exit.
"This matter can be decided by you as Hokage; I don't have ti to care for a little girl from elsewhere."
After Danzo left, Hiruzen looked at Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura.
"With Danzo's side settled, what do you think?"
"Agreed. Konoha and the Land of Demons have always maintained good cooperative relations, there's no reason to refuse. And, Konoha and the Land of Demons have had similar collaborations in the past, haven't they? This is another great opportunity to showcase our Konoha Ninja School's authority; Hiruzen, you must agree."
Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura exchanged a glance and nodded in agreent.
If Hidden Sand or Hidden Cloud requested such of Konoha, they might hesitate, wary of potential traps.
But since it's from a Neutral Country, there's no problem.
"I understand; I also lean toward this idea. I'll swiftly contact the Mire Witch and let Princess Ichihi attend Konoha Ninja School."
As a nation's princess, Hiruzen dared not show negligence.
He already began contemplating which Anbu squad to dispatch to ensure the princess's safety during her stay in Konoha.
