Now reading: Chapter 196. CATCH ME (BY APASHE) from Flip the Coin [BL], a Yaoi novel by Chay007.

I watched myself fall.

No matter how often I dread about this, it could never prepare for the abomination I was facing now. The wind slashed against my cold body as I fell, unable to close my eyes as I stared below.

Closer it ca, closer and closer, and then I landed on the tongue, cushioning my fall, but knowing that it started now, THAT IT WAS BEGINNING THIS MONT, nearly threw into another wave of horror, of paralyzing fear.

Yet, the adrenaline finally did its job, for a change not crippling into immobility; my senses sharpened eerily strong.

The tongue pushed in between the teeth, and I was slamd into the ground—no, the teeth pit I was pushed into—in the jaw that was now moving UP.

My head emptied, and I just moved.

Right side, molar, the hole is in the upper row— the hiding spot I had decided not to use because it was too risky, with the ’ground’ moving.

Yet, my body moved there on its own as I teleported to the spot where the hole would probably co down. Then I looked up and saw the hole coming closer.

JUMP!

I jumped, teleporting up in the air instead of moving forward, backward, right, or left.

I had never tried it before, but I just did it.

I found myself inside the hole the next mont, where I pressed my back against the hole wall and my feet against the tooth wall across from , trying not to fall down again.

I saw the bottom jaw coming, but my body scread, SAFE, SAFE, so I didn’t attempt to move; I just held myself in place.

The sound when he brought his teeth together should have been deafening, but I didn’t hear a thing, just my own teeth that chattered, my whole body twitching and trembling, one step away from a seizure, a heart attack, or losing it and conjuring up a gun again. And I heard my own heart pumping as it slamd against my shattered and only halfway repaired ribs.

Instead, I could see inhumanly well, and that was all I currently needed. Sweat poured from my face as I held my position, even when the lower jaw moved away again before coming closer.

There was no coherent thought in my mind, just commands that ca from my body, my instinct, my ability, or from the magpie.

LET GO!

When the teeth ca together, I let myself fall, and just like in my dream, the tongue ca for , pushing from one side of the teeth to the other.

I landed where I did in my dream: the left row. My body moved and jumped, teleporting ahead.

FALL AND ROLL!

I threw myself to the ground— tooth—before rolling to the right.

The bottom jaw I was currently on moved upwards again, while I breathed so heavily that a bunch of spit and blood ca out of my mouth.

My whole body shook so badly that I had problems holding myself in place. I waited for the voice, for sobody to lead , for every little help I could get, when the bottom jaw moved again.

I moved DOWN and UP. The teeth SLAMD together.

DOWN and UP. SLAM.

DOWN and UP. SLAM.

DOWN and UP. SLAM.

NOW!

I rolled out of the hole the mont the jaws moved away from each other and ran to the next hole straight ahead. I teleported, then ran, jumped, and teleported to the next tooth.

DOWN!

I let myself fall inside the hole in the pit of the next tooth. While covering my head with my arms and curling up to make myself as small as possible, I felt the ground move again. UP.

The bottom jaw t the upper jaw, but I was unhard. I remained in that position, out of my mind, not feeling that this was real, not feeling that every bit of this was happening, just waiting—waiting to be led.

NOW!

I finally sprang up when the teeth moved apart and ran with all my might, knowing exactly where the next hole was.

I jumped to the next tooth and ran while the ground moved up and while the dangerous ’ceiling’ ca closer and closer to .

LEFT!

When I landed at the next tooth, I threw myself to the left, a hole near the pit. I waited again, my head thrumming so strongly that I longed for unconsciousness.

The tremors didn’t stop but didn’t hinder either while running.

NOW!

I rolled out again and teleported ahead, in the middle of jumping from one tooth to another when the next command ca.

DOWN!

I let myself fall in the gap between two teeth.

I landed in saliva, nearly choking on it, but I had miraculously held my breath automatically.

DIVE!

The teeth ca together while I dove inside the saliva, wider to the back, to the back of the pharynx, where only another pharynx awaited .

The tongue wriggled up more saliva as it moved up; the upper jaw moved up and down, throwing back constantly.

MOVE!

I teleported ahead while diving, and from that point, I constantly teleported to the back.

STOP!

I stopped when part of the tongue slamd against the side of the bottom teeth row, nearly making black out, but definitely pressing every bit of air I was holding out of . I wanted to cough and breathe in, but I couldn’t, or I would really drown. I suppressed the reflex.

UP!

The tongue moved away from , and I swam up to the surface, taking a breath before continuing to swim. Yet, there was movent of the tongue when I suddenly found myself lifted from the saliva and lying on top of it.

MOVE!

I teleported ahead, but it seed the giant’s whole head moved, the gravity inside his mouth changed, and I was thrown to the side of the left row of teeth. I landed on the edge, my leg dangling over the edge, while my upper body now lay horizontal on the side.

MOVE!

I wanted to obey the command, but I was so dizzy that I couldn’t distinguish where to move when the teeth ca down, and my left leg was completely smashed from the knee down.

I blacked out from the pain and shock, regaining consciousness for a second before blacking out again.

MOVE!

MOVE!

MOVE!

The giant’s head tilted back again, and gravity was where it should be when I teleported back into the saliva, teleporting forward, teleporting forward, teleporting forward.

There was neither ti nor resources to think about my shattered leg.

Move, move, move, move, move.

MOVE!

I swam, teleported, and dove; I couldn’t use my leg, so I was much slower, but I was already so damn slow anyway. No ti to think, no ti to feel, no ti to stop moving.

I CAN NOT STOP MOVING; NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, I CAN’T STOP!

Finally, I was at the end of the tongue. The giant’s tongue raised, the middle part pressing against the roof of his mouth, as more saliva ca, and I was...

SWALLOWED.
