My heart skipped a few beats, not only at the proximity of the voice right beside my ear but also because of the moist breath that hit and the hand that grabbed before I or Henry, who was two ters away from , could even react.
I was pulled inside the wall before I was able to curse, shake that hand off, or leap to the side.
As if it hadn’t been a solid wall all along but just an illusion, I only saw darkness when I was inside this strange space.
But I knew I was lying down and that I was not only without my gun but also at least without the hand around my arm that had pulled in.
So I very reluctantly raised my hand, fearful of what the fuck I would touch.
But there was no reason to worry because about twenty centiters above my nose WAS A FUCKING WALL, and RIGHT BESIDE WAS ALSO A WALL.
When I moved my foot, there was ALSO A FUCKING WALL; I was enclosed from all sides.
So no need to worry, I was just inside sothing that was like a-
"Coffin," I mumbled.
"I can hear you~"
The voice said in a sing-song tone again, luckily this ti farther away and not with the sa urgency.
I froze nevertheless, not really able to think of a solution right now because I was scared of a sudden jump scare after acting in whatever way.
If I punched the wall above and it worked, what if the debris ca down, or the wall altogether, and I suffocated like I did in that hole, with all the dead dogs burying ?
What if I made a noise and the voice told again that she heard ?
What if she ca closer?
What if she touched ?
These thoughts ran through my head, all the horror films I had ever seen or heard of playing inside my mind, and so did the monts where I smirked at the whiny protagonist, relieved that I wasn’t confronted with such a ss.
And then there it was, a finger on my shoulder.
A finger that couldn’t be there because there wasn’t enough space in this little room that was shaped like a coffin.
The finger poked , didn’t injure , but scared the shit out of as I pressed my eyes shut, hoping it would go away by itself.
FUCK!
The finger slid down, slowly but persistently, from my shoulder along my upper arm to my elbow to my lower arm.
I could feel the coldness through my clothes, so kind of wetness—I don’t even fucking know, aaahh!!!!
My breathing was stuck in my throat, and my heart stuttered on its way as I was frozen stiff, the adrenaline nearly making my body tremble when the finger reached my hand.
More fingers followed, and the hand ultimately lay on the back of mine, the moist fingers bent and interlocked with mine.
Fuck, fuck, fuck, FUCK!
"Can you hear ?"

The voice was close, fucking close, the breath on my neck and lower jaw clearly perceivable.
"Can you hear ?"

A finger poked my shoulder on the other side of my body, sliding down my arm in the sa excruciatingly slow way as it had done before.
This ti I couldn’t control the trembling of my body, my brain and the adrenaline telling to fight, but my body not listening because I couldn’t see the horror, and if I couldn’t see it, there was still so kind of false hope that this wasn’t real.
"Is he with youuu?"
That it would go away if I just ignored it.
What could be the fucking reason we got attacked if the monsters usually didn’t care all that much for us?
Either because it needs to eat, like the Deer Monster, or because we fought against it first, like the Bone Monster and the Crystalline Figure.
This ti we didn’t do a thing, besides entering a room.
A reason for fighting among animals is the invasion inside a territory, so is that the reason?
Skyscrapers, and if each of the rooms were like the one we had entered, there would be endless rooms in this world.
Did we invade this ghost’s territory?
Or is each of these rooms a counterpart itself?
The finger arrived by my hand, and just like on the other side, she placed her hand on mine, interlocking her fingers with , now holding onto both of my hands.
Besides the fact that there were walls around and the whole thing was impossible, it was also impossible to achieve that angle, holding both of my hands with just one body, or let’s say, a normally ford body.
A picture ford in my head of a female Slenderman that was sohow in the wall beneath , reaching her long, skinny arms out to hold onto both of my hands... well, it had been a bad idea to co up with that, because I am now breaking out in a cold sweat.
"Can you hear ???"
The voice cried loudly, and this ti the voice ca from beneath , as if she was really under , not far away, maybe inside a coffin made of walls that was stuck under mine.
Suddenly there was also a THUMP coming from under .
THUMP!
My head continued with the horrorshow, and I pictured the Slenderwoman smashing her head against the ceiling of the coffin under to break through the wall and co for .
Her hands on mine shook lightly each ti there was a THUMP, and this was sohow confirming my fear; it matched the picture of her smashing her head Ahhhh!!!
Nononononononononono.
Finally, my brain started to work; the panic turned into an idea, and I tried to conjure a gun up.
"FUCK!" I groaned through clenched jaws, the collar on going to work, the electricity shooting through my body and transmitted into hers, her moist skin helping with the transmission.
I could feel that she was affected, that she shook and tried to let go, though unable to, yet the thumping never stopped.
THUMP THUMP THUMP!
The electricity my collar gave off stopped, debris fell from the ceiling and the walls around , and I could feel that she would soon break through; then not only her hands would be with , but also her hair that I pictured as sothing long, black, and seaweed-like, her eyes that were probably way too big, and her mouth that...—FUCK, STOP IMAGING SHIT!
No reason to go crazy inside my head because soon after the electricity stopped, her hands retracted to wherever, and I felt shortly relieved.
But then another hand smashed through the ceiling of my coffin. I nearly pissed myself when the hand grabbed my shirt and yanked up.
But then the gravity changed magically, and I was pulled out of the vertical wall I had been pushed into, landing in a strong embrace inside the room from before, which at least had a goddamn fucking window.
Henry fell back through the montum, with on top of him.
He grabbed so strongly that he was only short of shattering my bones; his breathing was all over the place, and I could hear him growl deeply, as if he were a monster himself that had just been provoked the wrong way.
I hugged him back and bit into his neck, right above his collar, and he grunted with satisfaction.
"Took you long enough." I held onto his WARM and DRY skin with equal force.
I hate ghosts.
And I’ll never go into a pitch-black skyscraper or empty black room ever again.
"NOOOO!!!"
The voice screeched as if she had lost sothing precious.
"KENNETH!"
