At the center of the square was a white elephant formation, on the elephant’s trunk were large nozzles visible to the eye, and countless others on the ground, hinting at an exciting scene to unfold.
There was a stage in the square, beautiful young won in traditional costus were already in position, waiting.
The festival’s the song, "Sa Sen Bimai," started playing at the square. Representatives from various community water splashing teams, dressed in festive attire, danced the E Laha dance around the Water Splashing Square.
Monks chanted blessings to the auspicious water from the Lancang River, and then the beautiful young won in traditional costus poured the sacred water into the central pool, after which the governor stood up and announced, "The Water Splashing Festival — begins!"
At his command, multiple water jets erupted from the white elephant, followed by the smaller nozzles on the ground, soaking those nearest into drenched chickens in no ti.
But everyone’s faces showed excitent, regardless of being wet or not, they blissfully began indiscriminately blessing those around them with the tools at hand.
Handso n or beautiful won at the Water Splashing Festival are sure to receive special blessings.
And a pair of a handso man and a beautiful woman would be given special attention among the special.
Wang Fan and Zhuo Qianqian fit these traits perfectly.
The water guns, basins, and the water showering from the white elephant above quickly turned them into drenched chickens.
Wang Fan and Zhuo Qianqian were not one to back down, despite the water reaching their knees, they scooped with basins and splashed away.
The lively music, countless screams and laughter, it all infected Wang Fan.
His fine physique had him using a basin to bless those around him into backing off repetitively, his laughter growing more cheerful.
Wang Fan had already lost himself to the fun, even his companion Zhuo Qianqian couldn’t escape his playful attacks.
Zhuo Qianqian didn’t fuss either, soon launching a counterattack on her boss, though she ended up with a basin of water dumped on her own head by Wang Fan, she persistently sought the chance for revenge.
On the Water Splashing Festival day, even dragonflies passing by wouldn’t escape a splash of blessing before they flew away, let alone people.
On the streets, it didn’t matter if you were driving or biking, or whether you were an ordinary citizen or a policeman, if you dared to appear in sight, blessings were inevitable.
Now, a group was already surrounding a few blue friends, blessing them, Wang Fan seized the chance to sneak two basins past.
However, they apparently had blessed their brains away during the festivities.
