Perhaps the afternoon rain and hail had emptied the inventory of humidity, as Wang Fan and his companion clearly felt that the outside was no longer as damp when they left, and the temperature had even miraculously risen a bit.
At this ti, night had just fallen, and the neon lights everywhere were dazzling with color.
The streets were packed with people, bustling and lively.
Wang Fan had witnessed such nightlife countless tis in Beijing, but unlike the hurried pace of the pedestrians there, people here walked leisurely as if ti flowed more calmly around them.
On both sides of the street, the shops were brightly lit, with custors pausing to admire the displays and occasionally chatting with the shop owners. Passersby were either in small groups or walking alone, all with an expression of tranquility and enjoynt on their faces.
Young people on the street wore various outfits: tank tops, shorts, flip-flops, T-shirts, skirts, high heels, with so daring girls flaunting their figures in tight-fitting skirts.
Zhuo Qianqian felt like her eyes were feasting on a lot of ice cream.
Wang Fan had already booked the tickets for the Golden Boat, which he had carefully researched in advance.
At 7:50, the two finally boarded the cruise.
At this mont, the Golden Boat was brightly lit, like a dazzling pearl, glowing brightly on the river.
The ship’s sleek lines were adorned with nurous exquisite yellow lights, giving it a magnificent appearance.
The two went straight to the deck on the third level, and the cruise smoothly set off, with a gentle breeze bringing a trace of coolness.
The cruise gently sailed out of the pier, progressing along the Pearl River. The architectural styles on both banks varied greatly, from modern skyscrapers to classically charming Lingnan buildings. Enhanced by the lights, these buildings appeared more majestic and awe-inspiring.
The cruise passed under bridge after bridge, with the lights below and the decorations on the bridges creating stunning vistas.
"It’s so beautiful here."
Zhuo Qianqian stood by the deck’s railing, spreading her arms as if to embrace this beautiful city.
Wang Fan stood behind her, smiling at the person who had beco a part of the scenery.
There weren’t too many people on the cruise today. As Zhuo Qianqian lowered her arms and began searching for new photo spots, Wang Fan, walking beside her, felt his heartbeat quicken.
That slender, fair hand was right there, less than 10 centiters away from his own. Several tis he wanted to reach out and grasp it, but each ti he drew back as if shocked, guilty like a thief, cautiously glancing at Zhuo Qianqian for her reaction, and only relaxing when he saw she hadn’t noticed.
"Wow! The slim waist!"
Zhuo Qianqian exclaid, seemingly unintentionally grabbing Wang Fan’s hand. The soft, boneless, smooth touch made Wang Fan’s mind go completely blank with a "bang," and he could only instinctively let her lead him.
Pulling Wang Fan to the front of the deck, Zhuo Qianqian pointed at the Guangfu Tower with her other hand and happily said, "I’ve heard that the slim waist is especially beautiful at night, and I finally got to see it today!"
The slim waist soared into the clouds, constantly changing colors, indeed the most dazzling presence in this night sky.
Wang Fan, however, had no mood to look at the slim waist. His handso, fair face was already red with heat, feeling as if he were a stead crab at that mont.
Zhuo Qianqian gazed at the Guangfu Tower, her mouth curved into a mischievous smile, her bright eyes full of pride.
The hands that usually knew exactly when to add what ingredient or spice in cooking, why did they suddenly beco so clumsy!
So many opportunities were missed, I had to take matters into my own hands, humph!
But the boss’s hands are large and warm, full of a sense of security when held, making it all worth the anticipation, ha ha ha.
The cruise turned slowly, the river breeze lifting Zhuo Qianqian’s long, beautiful hair to dance in the wind, forming a perfect picture with the slim waist standing in the background.

A chef paired with a food lover, after admiring the scenery, the first inevitable thing to do was to explore the food street.
They drove their RV straight to the Dragon Cave Food Square.
Dragon Cave has always been famous for its food, hosting nurous diverse snacks, filling the bellies of students from the dozen or so nearby colleges. It is a "food heaven" rich in varieties and affordable in price.
This was a place Zhuo Qianqian had always wanted to visit.
They checked the navigation and found it was conveniently close to Dashatou Pier, just a 20-minute drive away.
As soon as they got out of the car, a rich aroma of food enveloped them.
Both couldn’t help but take a deep breath.
In this fragrance-filled space, the aroma of food had a mysterious allure, drawing people to explore it.
It wasn’t a single sll from one or two foods, but a wondrous concoction from countless delicacies rging together. The unique flavors of various ingredients intertwined to form a captivating symphony of aromas.
Wang Fan could detect the subtle aroma of coffee, the rich scent of chocolate, the refreshing sll of fruits, and the enticing hints of spices and ats.
Each flavor complented and elevated the others, collectively creating a rich and complex taste experience.
This rging of food aromas seed like a kaleidoscope of flavors, imrsing one deeply in it, unable to extricate oneself.
Zhuo Qianqian beca excited, already prepared to devour three pounds today, determined not to leave until she was fully satisfied!
"Let’s go, boss!"
She took Wang Fan’s hand and eagerly headed into the snack street.
It was already close to nine, yet the place was still crowded, with various snack stalls lining both sides of the street. The dazzling array of foods was overwhelming.
There were sizzling grilled lamb skewers, aromatic Chaoshan stir-fried potato noodles, refreshing ice jelly, flavorful deep-sea octopus balls, boneless chicken feet, rice rolls, and more.
Each stall attracted food enthusiasts to stop and savor, enjoying the delicious food while imrsing themselves in the lively atmosphere, feeling the endless satisfaction that the food brought.
Zhuo Qianqian swiftly dragged Wang Fan to a pig trotter rice stall, where the vendor was a man in his fifties.
Looking at the soft, chewy, and glistening pig trotter rice, Zhuo Qianqian felt her mouth water almost uncontrollably.
Wang Fan looked at the pig trotter rice and couldn’t help but nod in approval.
This was clearly a craft honed over decades, mastering this dish in terms of color, taste, and doneness, indeed a specialty.
Zhuo Qianqian ordered a serving, and the man swiftly chopped the pig trotter into pieces, evenly spreading it over the rice, then sprinkled a bit of cilantro and drizzled hot soup over it.
Zhuo Qianqian eagerly split the chopsticks, gently lifting a piece of at. The strands of juicy red at looked deliciously appetizing just at a glance.
