The last little dessert has been completed, and in theory, today’s dishes are all done. Just serving the final tea will formally conclude the day.

However, Wang Fan is still bustling around.

What he’s making is simple—so simple it’s just a bowl of scallion-flavored egg noodles.

He knows the quantity of dishes served; if consud all at once, it would be quite filling, but stretching the dining experience over two hours, one would only be about eighty percent full.

When his Second Uncle used to attend banquets, he often liked to have a bowl of scallion-flavored egg noodles at ho afterward. Wang Fan thought these guests might need the sa experience.

The egg noodles were prepared quickly, not the small portions typical of French cuisine, but a full sea bowl for each person, with two cloves of garlic on the tray, and then the bell was rung.

Parker, though puzzled why there was more food, dutifully arranged for the waitstaff to serve the dishes.

Allen was about to rise when he saw his employee entering again, saying as he walked, "Dear guests, this is a special Huaxia dish the chef prepared for you called scallion-flavored egg noodles. The chef says that after a banquet at their ho, they have noodles to feel at ho."

Professor Liu’s usually calm face broke into a smile upon hearing this.

She was familiar with this; her husband, after attending various banquets and events, liked to have a little sothing when he got ho. Due to not wanting to trouble himself, it usually ended up being a bowl of boiled noodles.

Unexpectedly, Wang Fan had even shared this cultural nuance.

Allen sat back down, intrigued by the steaming noodles.

Professor Liu nearly laughed, not expecting this young man to share the culture so thoroughly. These noodles were plainly store-bought; she had expected Wang Fan to use handmade noodles instead.

Though the noodles in the sea bowl were store-bought, paired with chopped scallions, eggs that were fried and then boiled, and a few green leafy vegetables, it carried a unique appeal.

Professor Liu picked up the chopsticks, lifted the noodles, and gently blew on them before sucking them into her mouth.

Store-bought noodles lack the chewiness of handmade ones but have a smoothness that matched her appetite perfectly.

After a couple of chews, she’d quickly swallow them, and the warmth would flow down the esophagus, spreading a cozy sensation through the body that handmade noodles couldn’t provide.

She lifted the bowl for a gulp of the flavorful scallion and garlic broth, feeling as though she was wrapped in her most familiar blanket.

Allen and Powell stared at Professor Liu, as astonished as if watching a wild boar devour its al.

"Oh my God, I swear at that mont I really felt like a wild boar was eating right next to my ear!"

Allen and Powell roared internally.

"Only a wild boar eating could make such a loud noise!"

Unperturbed by them, Professor Liu took a bite of the plump garlic clove.

A mouthful of noodles followed by garlic, the spicy clove offering a different texture complenting the rich noodle broth, which balanced out the garlic’s intensity.

No garlic with noodles, half the flavor’s gone!

"Gulp..."

Allen and Powell couldn’t help but swallow their saliva.

Just a simple bowl of noodles, did it need to be devoured so slavishly?

They exchanged glances, seeing the sa thought in each other’s eyes—try it?

Neither could use chopsticks, but with forks placed before them, they twirled the noodles as they would eat spaghetti.

As soon as the noodles entered their mouths, the rich flavor of scallion and garlic sent warmth flowing through them. The unique taste compelled them to devour more of it eagerly.

No, no, no!

Gentlen enjoy food with elegance; how could they...

"Slurp, slurp..."

Watching Powell eating noisily like a pig, Allen thought a day or two of not being gentlemanly might not be a problem.

"Slurp, slurp..."

"Slurp, slurp..."

The sound seed contagious—a symphony of slurps quickly turned Wang Fan’s noodles into a scene resembling a bustling street food stall.

Dave picked up the sea bowl, draining the broth in one go, then leaned back in his chair, engulfed in a sense of satisfaction.

He wanted nothing more than to dive into a soft bed, basking in perfect comfort.

At that mont, a cup of mildly flavored tea was served, perfectly balancing the broth’s saltiness and refreshing the palate.

"Ah... is this authentic Chinese food? If I could light a cigar now, I’d feel life had reached fulfillnt."

Allen praised, "I never knew real Chinese food could be this delicious. Anna, I must plan a trip to Huaxia soon. I’ll go back with you when you leave."

Powell didn’t want to talk; he felt too full to intake anything more, yet strangely, there was no discomfort—only a warm, pleasant fullness.

Professor Liu nodded, saying, "We welco you to Huaxia as a guest. Our cuisine will certainly inspire you greatly."

Allen replied, "Wang Fan said sothing similar. I said I want to explore Chinese cuisine in a month. He said I wouldn’t leave a province in that ti, what do you think?"

Professor Liu said, "I think you may not even leave a city in a month."

"Hahaha, that’s impossible. I refuse to believe one city’s cuisine has so many varieties. I’ll change restaurants with different styles daily; similar ones, I won’t visit, and I refuse to believe I can’t do it within a month."

Professor Liu didn’t explain further—so things you have to experience to understand; words alone won’t suffice.

The dinner thus concluded, and after over two hours, not a single guest felt ti was wasted, nor did anyone leave mid-al. Everyone finished all the food, which was undoubtedly a perfect Chinese culinary performance.

Euros!

This was Allen’s final price.

Euros per person, excluding service charges.

Everyone felt it was worth every cent, happily paying, but with one request as they left.

"Include on the invite list if there’s another dinner like this."

Dave went as far as to say, "If this young Eastern chef is hired by the restaurant, they’ll definitely visit here regularly."

He then extended another offer to Wang Fan, "I sincerely invite you, Chef, to work with . The salary will certainly be a figure that satisfies you."
