"Wow, such a long line, Director!"
When Zhang Chunming and the others arrived at work, they noticed there was already a long queue at the ticket booth.
Even though, upon closer inspection, these people were not lining up at the ticket booth but in front of Boss Wang’s food cart, it didn’t stop them from marveling at the length of the queue.
Holding a box of duck leg at, Director Liu didn’t want to speak; he was savoring the delightful sensation of the tender duck at bursting with juice in his mouth.
The juice carried the rich flavor of the duck at, so delicious that he couldn’t stop eating.
Moreover, the sourness from the lemon was incredibly refreshing, as if all the fatigue from the night was instantly wiped away.
That refreshing feeling was like the sky was bluer, the leaves greener, and he felt more at ease as a whole.
This wasn’t so magical effect Wang Fan’s food had gained; it was purely because having sothing delicious improved his mood.
When your mood improves, everything around you seems better.
Zhang Chunming had been eyeing the food in the director’s hand for a long ti. This penny-pincher hadn’t had anything good to eat in ages, relying on plain buns with pickles since last month. Unexpectedly, today he got to enjoy so at.
No doubt, this was Boss Wang’s doing.
"Director, is the duck at good?"
"Delicious."
?
That’s it? Aren’t you supposed to say, "Here, have a taste"?
Just as Zhang Chunming was about to thicken his skin to ask for a piece, he heard Director Liu already giving instructions: "Hurry up and get ready to work, we’re about to start. Although there are many people today, we must uphold our standards and carry on as before. Do not disturb the animals. Also, reception staff at various points should inform tourists not to be loud, and if necessary, refund tickets and ask noisy people to leave."
"Understood!"
These two words seed to have beco a conditioned reflex; when the leader gave a task, these words just naturally slipped out.
Director Liu nodded in satisfaction, carrying his al box as he hurriedly walked toward the office.
Phew, luckily I reacted quickly! Otherwise, I’d have to share so of this duck leg at!
Cheng Feifan had already finished his big helping of duck leg at.
An entire pound of duck leg was in his stomach, yet there was not even a hint of greasiness; the tangy, sweet, and spicy flavor lingered in his mouth.
He looked at the zoo entrance behind him, wondering if he should go in and take a look.
He had been here once before, but to be honest, it wasn’t a great experience. He couldn’t find many of the animals hiding in corners.
This ti, he ca with the intention of leaving after lunch, but unexpectedly, Boss Wang had opened early for them today.
It was just past 8 a.m., far from lunchti, and he didn’t feel like going sowhere else.
"Oh well, might as well check it out since I’m here."
Muttering to himself, Cheng Feifan started walking toward the ticket booth.
Many others had the sa thought; at this ti, they weren’t sure what else to do, and leaving right after a al felt unsatisfying, so they decided to stroll around the zoo.
A few were office workers who had taken leave, and when they found they could satisfy their craving early in the morning, they canceled their leave due to financial constraints and returned to work.
Yet even with just these people remaining, it was arguably the highest turnout the zoo had ever seen since opening.
With an excited heart and trembling hands, ticket seller Zhang Qian wanted to shout out to Wang Fan, "Iron buddy, 666!"
This was her first ti experiencing wrist cramps from issuing so many tickets!
Who would understand this feeling among friends and family!
Even though the ticket money wasn’t hers, the feeling of selling tickets like this was exhilarating!
"Here’s your ticket, please keep it safe."
"Here’s your ticket, please take it."
Oh, thank you, Boss Wang; today’s work is truly fulfilling!
Cheng Feifan had already walked into the zoo with his ticket.
His first stop, like Wang Fan’s, was the Giant Panda Pavilion.
Today, the giant pandas were still diligently lounging in their favorite lazy poses, just that it was feeding ti, so all three pandas were quietly gnawing on bamboo.
Previously, this had seed quite dull during his visits.
Unlike the Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base with a more pleasant view, the three pandas here did not entertain as much as ng Lan or Xue Bao, nor did they have the fa of Flower Bureau.
But today, perhaps because he was in a better mood, watching these relaxed pandas munching on bamboo felt adorable.
It was as if he himself was in such a refreshing morning, lying in his most comfortable spot, eating his favorite food.
After leaving the panda pavilion, he didn’t rent a car; he leisurely strolled from one exhibit to another. When he encountered hidden animals, he surprisingly found himself having the patience to seek them out.
It was truly amazing as he was famously impatient!
Gradually, he even discovered sothing extraordinary about this place.
He had visited several zoos, but the animals here appeared to him the most like how animals should be.
It was like observing animals in their most natural state from an outsider’s perspective.
Many others shared his thoughts.
In today’s stressful society, people often see themselves in the zoo animals’ confinent, feeling there’s no difference.
We are forced to work daily and often get scolded or ntally exhausted.
However, the animals here seed so free, and having enjoyed a delicious al in the morning already lifted spirits, seeing such carefree animals made life seem promising.
The biggest surprise today must be for the shopkeepers in the zoo.
Originally, they spent money to set up shop but had little custor flow, already sighing over possible closure.
Unexpectedly, they received a call last night urging them to open today, promising a surprise.
Initially unconcerned, thinking they were idle, they didn’t expect a real surprise with a significant increase in custor flow!
Keen-eyed shop owners noticed most tourists were young, so with spouses and children—these were their favorite custors.
Nowadays, parents are willing to splurge as long as their kids enjoy it.
Young people love trying new things, and just a glance showed at least half were in their twenties or thirties.
Ti to work!
The shopkeepers couldn’t sit still and eagerly displayed all the good stuff.
Craft items, toys, various creative stores, and souvenir shops quickly filled with custors.
Seeing the surveillance footage filled with visitors, Director Liu couldn’t help but take off his glasses.
He had certainly poured his heart and soul into creating an ideal zoo; he was even on the verge of selling his house due to financial strain. Seeing the scene he had envisioned finally co true, how could he not be moved?
