[Music: Loaded Gun By Saint Vice]

I’m... I’m gonna die.

He’s gonna fucking shoot my lady parts to bits, isn’t he? Killing in the cruelest way possible, and my poor spirit will be haunted by such freaky death!

I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the inevitable. I saw this coming; I always did since the mont I married him.

My only regret was not getting the chance to stab him in the heart for what he did to my sister.

Get on with it, you heartless snake. I’ll see you in hell.

His hold on my neck loosened. The suffocating texture of a mountain body pressing into was gone, as well as the warm steel grazing my panties.

I was suddenly hoisted and flung onto his shoulder like a piece of cloth.

"What are you—! Let go, you slimy snake!" I beat my fist against his back, but it was akin to whipping a damn wall.

Zade walked, not a bit concerned by my screams and curses. My racket was cut short when I caught two n coming after us.

"Behind you!" I shrieked.

My world spun as Zade redirected, and I shut my eyes, waiting for the impact of a bullet, but it never ca.

Gunshots were fired, and when Zade was back to moving, I saw the two n in a pool of their own blood.

He took them down that easily?

Zade kicked open a door leading to the main room. The whole place had been torn apart, walls punctured with holes, tables upside down, and a few bodies on the ground with blood everywhere.

It altered my brain to think that this was the sa place with elites at each table, with their soft laughter, and the chi of crystal glasses. But now it has been reduced to such a pitiful state.

It was frightening how much damage could be done when dangerous n decide to solve problems by shooting at their asses.

Zade carried all the way to the edge of the room, where a wide leather sofa was, under a large chandelier. I yelped as he tossed against it.

I tried to crawl away, but he dragged my ass back, and I swung my arm. A heavy satisfaction washed over when he turned back and used his thumb to wipe off the blood at the corner of his lips.

Zade eyed the stain, then , a chuckle rolling off him like a thunderous echo.

What’s funny right now?

He rolled his shoulder back and stood taller like a colossal snake looming over .

Horror clogged my throat when he unfastened his belt in a swift action. The sharp crack of leather striking the floor split through the air, making jump off.

Whereas he caught , tugging back to him with little effort. He locked my hands behind my back to keep in place.

"Not so fast, kitten."

I groaned as he snapped the belt in place, using it to bind my wrist, the leather biting into my flesh.

Forced to my knees before him, I watched him sit on the sofa, exhaling quietly as his hand slid through his hair, the dark blond strands brushing backwards in ease.

"You’re a fucking handful..." he remarked, devilishly amused.

"Just get on with it!" I seethed, squirming to break free from the binds.

"Get on with what?" he teased lightly.

"Kill !" I shrieked, and the mont the words left , I regretted them.

His asures leading to this mont didn’t have the vaguest of bloodlust against . Have I thought it wrong all along?

I instantly thought otherwise when Zade drew his gun from the shoulder holster and leveled it at my forehead, flicking off the safety.

A shiver ran through as he pressed the cold muzzle against my forehead. Slowly, he moved it down to my nose, following the straight line.

Darkness swallowed my vision as he redirected to my cheek, stroking tenderly in the most bizarre way possible.

"Open your eyes."

At his low command, I did. My eyes were glassy with tears on the brink of slipping down my lashes.

Zade maintained eye contact as he lowered the pistol to my neck, twisting the barrel a little as if to feel my pulse before he dragged it to my collarbone, tracing the line in a controlled movent that clashed with my thundering heartbeat.

He dragged it lower, my breathing hitching as the cold steel fell on the top of my bosom, ascending and descending with every drag of air I tried to take.

My throat burned as he pushed the muzzle down like he wanted to thrust through the curve of my cleavage.

By the passing second, I felt so close to death. This was the scariest mont of my life because he had his finger on the fucking trigger the entire ti.

He pulled the trigger.

Click!

The hollow sound cut through the air like a blade. A harsh wind of air fled , tears running down my face.

"You’re my wife, kitten. Why would I kill you?"

He said those words as if I’d been the crazy one all along.

I gaped at him, whatever words dying in my throat, and suddenly I was hauled over his lap, positioned crudely.

"Stay still," he said in a commanding tone, and any attempt to squirm was gone.

My body was still in shock from teetering at the edge of life and death, a few seconds ago.

I peeked over my shoulder to find Zade taking out his phone and casually scrolling through it with ease, his other hand spread out to the back of the sofa.

He sighed, pressing the cell to his ear, a dial covering the space around us.

"There better be good news," he said, pausing for a few seconds. "Finish up."

He ended the call and dropped his phone, catching my gaze.

"Comfortable?" he asked.

"F-F-Fuck you—AH!"

H-He spanked !
