The shopping with Sara dragged on, a never-ending loop as we bounced from store to store in the mall, the afternoon stretching out slow and heavy.

We’d hit the clothing racks already, and now she was deep into jewelry and lipsticks, hunting for stuff to match the dresses she’d bought earlier.

My hands were full—four bags dangling from my fingers, handles digging into my skin, stuffed with her haul: that dress, a pair of heels, so scarf she’d grabbed on a whim, and who knows what else.

We were in a fancy little shop now, all glass counters and bright lights, jewelry sparkling under display cases, lipsticks lined up like candy on a shelf. Sara stood by the counter, swiping shades across her wrist, as she turned to every five seconds, asking for my take.

I had to smile, nod, play along—anything less, and the people around us would stare, thinking I was so jerk boyfriend who didn’t care. My jaw was tight, my patience thinning, but I kept it up, faking it for the crowd.

"How’s this shade looking on , Ezra?" she asked loud, holding up a deep red lipstick, her voice carrying over the shop’s soft music.

She put it on her lips quick, puckering them at , her eyes glinting playful in front of the shop workers.

"Yeah, it’s looking good on you," I said, forcing a smile. "Buy that one—it’s perfect," I added, nodding fast.

"Yes, I will buy this one," she said, turning to the worker—a young woman with a tight ponytail and a na tag that said *Mina*—handing her the lipstick with a big grin. "Wrap it up for ,"

"You sure value your boyfriend’s taste, ma’am," Mina said, smiling polite as she slid the lipstick into a little bag, her hands quick with the tissue paper.

"Yeah, I do," Sara said, her voice bright and fake, turning to with a wink. "He always picks the best stuff for —never misses." She laughed, cheerful and loud, lying through her teeth like it was nothing.

I sighed hard, *Tiring as hell,* I thought.

The clock above the counter read 3 p.m.—afternoon sun pouring through the mall’s glass roof, the place buzzing with shoppers, kids whining, carts rolling.

*Why isn’t Jonathan calling?* I wondered, my gut twisting. He was supposed to line up a client by now—give sothing, anything, to get out of this. *What’s up with him, for God’s sake?* My phone sat silent in my pocket, no buzz, no escape.

*Arghh... I’d rather fuck ten won at once than keep up with this ruthless bitch,* I thought, exhaling slow, calming myself down as I walked after her, the bags swinging heavy, the mall stretching out endless ahead.

The shopping dragged on for hours, a blur of stores—jewelry, makeup, so random gift shop—until we finally hit an eatery, a café, and a juice stand, bouncing around the mall like Sara had endless energy.

The sun dipped low outside, the sky turning orange through the mall’s glass walls, crows cawing faint in the distance as we stepped out into the evening air. It was 7 p.m. already, the parking lot humming with cars and people heading ho, the day slipping away fast.

"Damn, it’s already evening," Sara said, glancing at her wristwatch.

She stood by the mall entrance, her maroon dress a little wrinkled now, her black jacket slung over one arm, her bags stacked by her boots on the ground.

"Yeah," I said, casual, my voice flat as I looked around—cars honking, a kid running past with a balloon, the streetlights flickering on. My hands were finally free, the bags offloaded, and my mind drifted to Aeri—ho, a DVD, her humming in the kitchen.

Guess there’s no brothel work tonight, I thought, exhaling easy for once. Jonathan hadn’t called.

"Well, I’m off then," I said, handing the last bag to her, turning to walk away with a lazy wave over my shoulder. "Take care on your way back."

*Grab*—her hand shot out fast, snagging my wrist tight, stopping dead in my tracks. My boots skidded on the concrete, my shirt rustling as I turned back, surprised.

"Where are you going?" she asked, her voice low, her dark eyes staring hard into mine, her grip firm like she wasn’t letting go.

"Ho? Obviously," I said, frowning, tugging my arm a little but not breaking free. "Shopping’s done—goodnight." I kept my tone sharp.

She tightened her hold, pulling closer, her nails digging in just enough to notice.

"Co to my house," she said, her voice dropping sultry.

"Huh!? Why? No!" I shot back, straight and loud, shaking my head fast. "I’m not your damn pet all night," I added, my voice rising, my free hand shoving into my pocket.

She smirked, her eyes glinting evil, raising an eyebrow like she’d been waiting for this.

"I rember saying I’d let you go if you got a call for work," she said, her tone smooth and taunting, stepping closer, her breath warm with that coffee-and-gum sll. "And it looks like you didn’t—so you’re free for the night, right?" Her hand slid up my arm, her fingers trailing slow, her smirk growing like she’d already won.

"Yeah, so?" I said, my voice sharp, pulling back harder now. "Doesn’t an I’m spending the whole night with y—" My words choked off mid-sentence, my breath catching hard as she pulled her phone from her jacket pocket, swiping it on quick.

A video popped up—loud, clear— and her, my hand shoved inside her panties, rubbing her pussy in circles from behind, my other hand groping her boobs, all in front of a mirror on a bed while we kissed, sloppy and wild.

"Ahh..so good..." The sound of her moans crackled through the tiny speaker.

I gulped, my throat dry, my chest locking up as I stared, my boots rooted to the ground. She clicked the share button smooth, her thumb hovering over Aeri’s contact—her na right there, the video one tap away from sending.

My heart slamd against my ribs, my hands clenching into fists, the bags by her feet rustling in the breeze.

"Now... still got sothing to say?" she said, her voice low, smirking evil as she tilted her head, her dark hair falling over one eye, her thumb teasing the screen like a loaded gun.

The sunset painted her face orange, her boots glinting under the streetlights, her jacket swaying with wind as she stood there, daring to push back.

I sighed hard, long and heavy, tilting my head up to the sky—deep blue now, stars poking through, crows still cawing sowhere far off.
