“Dad, I’m hungry!” Enoch who was beside him suddenly said.
Qiao Yu was happy that his wife couldn’t do anything to him when his son interrupted him. He glanced at him,”didn’t you just have breakfast?”
“That was more than three hours ago!” Enoch replied,”I’m going to have lunch.”
“I’m not hungry, and neither is your mom. ” Qiao Yu replied, meaning,”if you’re hungry, then you’ll have to settle it.”
Enoch immediately looked at his mother.”Mommy, isn’t daddy going to cook for me?”

“Mommy will make it for you.” Xia Ning was about to pull her hand away, but the man was still holding her hand. She glared at him and said,”I’m going to cook for our son.”

Xia Ning was speechless. How dare he threaten her! But he was capable of doing this.
Xia Ning followed him into the kitchen.
“What do you want to have for lunch? How about making a few home-cooked dishes?” Qiao Yu was rummaging through the fridge,”chicken with corn, beef with green pepper, egg soup …”
Xia Ning watched as he took out the vegetables from the refrigerator one by one. She thought that he had asked her to e in to talk to her, but she didn’t expect that he really wanted to discuss what to cook.
“Help me wash the vegetables?” Qiao Yu suddenly turned to look at Xia Ning.
Xia Ning was stunned for a moment before she nodded.”Alright.” Then, she walked to the sink and washed the vegetables.

The couple helped each other out, and lunch was ready.
During the meal, Enoch kept praising Xia Ning in order to mock his father.”Mom’s cooking is still the best.”
