Lin Junyang couldn’t find Xiao Xiao downstairs, and after asking Su Jin, he found out that Xiao Xiao had already gone back to the guest room prepared for her.
He knocked on the door twice, but there was no response. He pushed it lightly, and since it wasn’t locked, Lin Junyang opened the door and went inside.
Inside the room, Xiao Xiao was standing in front of the bed, arranging her luggage and books. There was so ti before school started, and she would be staying here for the duration.

Seeing Xiao Xiao continually organizing her luggage with her head down, Lin Junyang cleared his throat, "Xiao Xiao, why did you abandon your master upstairs and run down here by yourself?"
"Please, I don’t have such a skilled apprentice like you. That split was even more impressive than mine. What could I possibly teach you? You didn’t even need to bring from Xiping; you could handle everything by yourself."
"It’s just a simple split; I still can’t dance. Xiao Xiao, I was wrong earlier, okay? I promise not to tease you next ti. In Pingxi, you promised you’d help , and you can’t go back on your word now that you’re in Nan’an."
Lin Junyang realized he might have gone a bit too far earlier. If he had anticipated this outco, he wouldn’t have acted that way.
Upon hearing Lin Junyang’s apology, calling himself out, Xiao Xiao paused her movents.
Lin Junyang was such a proud person. Back when they argued fiercely, he never admitted his mistakes. Now, he was acknowledging his fault to her.
Thinking about the scene that had just unfolded, Xiao Xiao felt her ears heat up again and continued without looking up, "Alright, I, Xiao Xiao, am not the kind to break promises. I won’t renege on what I’ve promised you. Tomorrow I’ll ask An Ran about which dance they’re performing. If not, the four of us can perform together. For now, I’ll take a bath. You may take your leave."
Saying this, she waved him away.

Hearing Xiao Xiao say she’d dance with him and even talk to An Ran about a four-person performance made Lin Junyang’s lips curl into a smile as he swiftly exited the room.
