Mu Xingfeng noticed the person explaining to him was from Jia Chenggang’s team. Jia Chenggang belonged to the first team, which he didn’t oversee. It seed they feared he might favor Jia Chenggang if punished, so every word was in defense of him. But he knew Liu Hu’s character; he wouldn’t have acted out unless extrely provoked, especially since Jia Chenggang outranked him.
Mu Xingfeng stood aside and watched for a while. From the ti Liu Hu ntioned buying them water to when they arrived had taken a while. During this ti, despite getting into a fight with veteran Jia Chenggang, Liu Hu didn’t suffer any losses.
At this point, the corner of Jia Chenggang’s mouth was already broken, and he was only able to defend himself.
"Tsk tsk tsk, I didn’t expect Liu Hu to be so well-hidden. Logically, Jia Chenggang’s skills are top-notch in our team, yet he couldn’t even fight back against him."
Jing Xiangyang poked his head in at so point, stirring up the commotion.
Mu Xingfeng glanced at Jing Xiangyang and stepped forward.
Fighting within the team would lead to disciplinary action. Liu Hu was under his command, a candidate for the Special Training Team; he couldn’t let anything happen to him at this critical mont.
The two who had been locked in a fierce struggle were swiftly separated by a few moves from Mu Xingfeng.
Jia Chenggang stood there wiping the corner of his mouth, while Liu Hu, with red eyes, seed ready to lunge forward again.
"Liu Hu, attention!"
Hearing a loud shout, Liu Hu finally recognized who had separated them and imdiately stood at attention. "Captain."
"Explain. Why were you fighting?" Mu Xingfeng asked.
"He deserved it," Liu Hu glared with bloodshot eyes at Jia Chenggang, still looking as if he wanted to tear him apart.
"Liu Hu, answer my question directly. Why were you fighting?" Mu Xingfeng’s face darkened, and his voice turned colder.
Liu Hu had been with Mu Xingfeng long enough to know he was truly angry this ti. Yet, to articulate the reason for the fight was difficult for him. His face turned blue, then red, then pale, and finally, he said indignantly, "Captain, I’m willing to accept punishnt for fighting, but if I hear him say those words again, I’ll hit him again."
"Ha, you’ve certainly gained so nerve now, even daring not to answer my question."
Jia Chenggang wasn’t under his command; if he made a mistake, Captain Li would handle it. But it was the first ti Liu Hu had talked back to him.
Among the crowd, a woman sneered, "Captain Mu, don’t make it difficult for him. Even if you beat him to death, he wouldn’t be able to tell you those words."
Mu Xingfeng looked at the woman in the crowd. Her long hair was curly, and her floral dress stood out in this crowd of n, as did her eight-centiter high heels.
The entrance to the small store was typically a gathering place for the won’s spouses. This ti, it was almost noon, so it wasn’t surprising to see a couple of them in the crowd. But this woman, he was seeing for the first ti.
Huang Xiaoyu noticed Mu Xingfeng’s slightly furrowed brows. She could tell that this man didn’t recognize her. Despite last ti standing up for his wife in a performance and slapping Wang Xia, she thought such actions would leave an impression on him. Yet, he still looked at her with the eyes of a stranger.
Huang Xiaoyu stepped forward, not holding anything back. Since she wanted to make an impression on Mu Xingfeng, she was willing to take this opportunity...
