Sun Lufang rubbed her hands, gave an awkward smile, and looked around. It was nearing noon, and so of the sisters-in-law were heading ho with vegetables they had bought from the small store.
Mu Xingfeng’s Building No. 1 was at the very front, so those sisters-in-law would inevitably pass by here on their way ho. So ca over to say hello, while others deliberately avoided them, but their eyes kept darting over.

"Sister-in-law, since you know in your heart what happened, there’s no need to say more," An Ran interrupted Sun Lufang.
"Yes, yes, it’s all my fault. An Ran, can you forgive ? I truly realize my mistake and won’t gossip recklessly again. If it would make you feel better, hit or scold , just please forgive . Over this, my husband got angry with , saying if you don’t forgive , he would send back to my hotown. An Ran, considering we’re from the sa area, please forgive this once."
As she finished, tears started falling from Sun Lufang’s eyes, showing she was truly anxious.
An Ran stood in front of her and calmly said, "I understand, sister-in-law. You can go back now. Tell Captain Li I’ve forgiven you."
As for the future, once Mu Xingfeng transfers to the Imperial City, Captain Li will also be transferred to S Province, and there won’t be any interactions between them anymore.
Hearing An Ran’s words, Sun Lufang nodded repeatedly in thanks, wiping tears as she returned to Building No. 5.
Xiao Xiao watched Sun Lufang’s retreating figure and scoffed, "If she knew it would end this way, why did she start it?"

The Imperial City is located in a plain area. Although there are small hills around it, they can’t compare to the mountains and forests of C Province.
