Seeing the little one looking like she’s about to cry, he directly stepped forward and hugged her small body.
"I’m sorry, hubby made a mistake. Hubby missed you too much. Soon, hubby will make sothing delicious for you, and then we’ll go play on the beach. I’ve heard that when the tide goes down in the evening, little crabs will climb onto the beach."
"Really?" At the ntion of crabs, An Ran’s eyes lit up.

"Don’t co over," upon hearing the girl’s footsteps, Mu Xingfeng stopped her.
The more he prohibited her, the more curious An Ran grew, itching to know more. She quickly walked over and upon seeing him, couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
Mu Xingfeng was chopping onions; perhaps they were too pungent, because even this tall man had red-rimd eyes.
An Ran reached for a tissue, helping him wipe the corners of his eyes, "Hubby, no need to trouble yourself so much. If you can’t do it, your wife can teach you or even do it herself."
Mu Xingfeng pinched her petite nose, this cheeky girl dared to tease him.
"Hubby, are you making steak?" An Ran looked at the ingredients Mu Xingfeng prepared, having already guessed, though his ntion of East and West fusion left her unsure.
Mu Xingfeng nodded, placing the chopped onions aside, away from the two of them, then took out beef to slice into thin pieces, saying softly, "Besides steak, I’m also making longevity noodles for my little birthday star."
"Steak and longevity noodles?" An Ran surveyed the man, "Hubby, are you sure?"
Mu Xingfeng’s knife slipped, almost cutting himself, he stood straight with a wicked smile on his lips, "Didn’t you just test whether hubby can?"
He dipped his head suddenly and leaned in closer, looked into her glistening eyes, and teased, "Or maybe the impression wasn’t deep enough just now, and you want another experience?"
