He noticed this girl on her first day of reporting, she was very special, emitting a kind of aura that made others happy. She was enthusiastic but not lacking in innocence, and she had a way of affecting others, making people unable to resist wanting to get close to her.
"That’s not going to work," Ranran said with disapproval: "You are the lighthouse of the class, everyone trusts and respects you, calling you the big class monitor is the biggest respect we have for you."
Lu Yi was amused by Ranran’s serious expression. He had never thought that just within half a sester at Nan’an University, his classmates would hold him in such high esteem. He had only done what he could, but it had resulted in the purest of feelings from his classmates.
This was actually what he aspired to. He despised the family’s business, defied his father’s opposition, and ca to Nan University to study dicine, wanting to see the purest side of human nature. And in just two months at Nan University, he had seen it, especially in Ranran, so pure, so clean.
"Then suit yourself," Lu Yi said good-naturedly, then took a red invitation out from his backpack and handed it over: "Ranran, next month is my twentieth birthday, I hope you can co and attend my adulthood ceremony."
Ranran accepted the gold-edged invitation with a smile: "Sure, I will definitely be there."
"Lu Yi," a charming voice sounded behind them. A Cadillac stopped, and Guo Xinyi walked down gracefully from the car, glancing unobtrusively at the invitation in Ranran’s hand and smiling at Lu Yi: "Lu Yi, why are you walking?"
Lu Yi smiled politely at her: "I just saw Ranran over there, so I got out of the car to walk a bit."
"I see, I just got tired of sitting in the car too. Let’s walk together," Guo Xinyi said, squeezing herself between the two. The strong perfu scent made Ranran’s nose itch a bit.
"Class monitor, Xiao Xiao asked out, I’ll go ahead," she said, quickening her pace towards the school.
She could clearly see the trace of jealous resentnt in Guo Xinyi’s eyes when she looked at her. Guo Xinyi’s feelings for Lu Yi were obvious even to a fool. She had nothing with the class monitor and didn’t want to beco collateral damage.
Returning to the dormitory, Xiao Xiao, whom she hadn’t seen for two weeks, enthusiastically rushed towards her: "Ranran, where have you been staying at night these past two days? Is that friend you ntioned reliable?"

Xiao Xiao finally relaxed, lying on the top bunk watching Ranran pack her things, and instantly saw the bright red invitation in Ranran’s bag.
"Ranran, what’s that thing?" Xiao Xiao pointed at the invitation.
Ranran took it out and waved it: "An invitation. The class monitor’s birthday next month, and he’s inviting us to attend."
Xiao Xiao took the invitation and flipped through it: "Ranran, this only has your na on it. Are you sure he’s inviting us all?"
"Really? I didn’t notice," Ranran took the invitation and looked at it. It turned out that she was the only one invited: "Maybe the class monitor hasn’t given it to you guys yet. I just happened to run into him on my way to school today, maybe you’ll receive it during evening study."
