An Ran ca out after her shower and saw Mu Xingfeng sitting on the bedside, dressed casually with slightly damp hair, obviously having just showered as well.
"Instructor Mu, where did you shower?" An Ran asked, drying her hair.
"Guest room." He took the dry towel from her hand and started drying it himself.
"There’s a guest room?" An Ran’s eyes lit up. That ant she didn’t have to share the sa room and bed with Mu Xingfeng, right?
Mu Xingfeng seed to know what she was thinking and pressed her little head down, saying, "Don’t even think about it. Don’t forget what our relationship is now." Seeing her eyes dim, he added, "Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you."
The first ti was forced on the little girl. The next ti, he would wait until she fell in love with him and was willing to open up voluntarily.
After drying An Ran’s hair, Mu Xingfeng went downstairs to get a cup of milk. The little one was too skinny and had lost a lot of weight over the past month.
When he returned to the room with the milk, he saw the little girl already in bed, occupying a seemingly advantageous position and hogging most of the quilt, looking at him warily.
Mu Xingfeng shook his head helplessly and walked over. "Drink the milk before you sleep."
An Ran took the milk and drank it all in one gulp. As soon as Mu Xingfeng got into bed, she quickly lay back down and hugged the quilt tightly.
"It’s very cold outside, aren’t you heartless enough to let sleep like this?" Mu Xingfeng looked at the little woman and asked pitifully.
"Is there no other quilt?" Sharing the sa bed with Instructor Mu really didn’t feel safe.
"No." Mu Xingfeng replied decisively and asked, "Don’t you trust ?"
An Ran thought for a mont and finally loosened the quilt.
Mu Xingfeng imdiately pulled it over to cover himself, and An Ran had no choice but to move closer to the edge of the bed, scooting over until she couldn’t move any further.
Mu Xingfeng silently chuckled, ignored her, and turned off the light.
The darkness enveloped them completely, and listening to the steady breathing beside her, An Ran inexplicably felt at peace. It seed like she was no longer afraid of the dark, and gradually her tense heart relaxed.
Reflecting on the past two days, An Ran felt like it was a dream. Yesterday she was still in deep water and scorching fire, but today, under Mu Xingfeng’s protection, it was the most carefree day she had lived in her eighteen years. Gradually, sleepiness washed over her.
Mu Xingfeng listened to the little girl’s long breaths beside him, knowing she fell asleep.
It seed the little girl’s guard against him was much less than he had imagined.
He turned on the light and saw her serene sleeping face. Mu Xingfeng leaned over and gently kissed her forehead, a slight smile on his lips. "Good night, wife."
Waking up in the morning, An Ran found herself clinging to Mu Xingfeng’s chest like a koala, with one leg draped over his waist.
She had always known her sleeping posture wasn’t good, but she never knew she could sleep so... freely.
"Awake?" The man’s lazy voice ca from above her head.
Mu Xingfeng’s inner turmoil was even worse at this mont.
Last night, just as he was about to sleep, the little girl moved over, placing an arm on him.
To avoid waking the little girl, he silently recited the Heart Clarity Spell many tis, finally calming the fire in his heart. But then, the little girl’s leg draped over him again.
Originally, he liked seeing the little girl in his white shirt, so he had proactively given it to her as pajamas. But at that mont, he regretted it. He should have given her sothing more conservative to wear.
