The chef said politely. He had heard that An Ran was from the South, and as the only chef in the villa, he naturally knew Mu Xingfeng’s taste preferences and cooked according to them. Could it be that this Miss An found it unappetizing?
"No need, you go rest. I’ll take care of lunch today," An Ran waved her hand, picked up an apron and put it on, started handling the ingredients, and began thinking about what to cook.

But Nanny Chen wasn’t that worried. Seeing that An Ran had started chopping vegetables with practiced movents, she signaled the chef to leave.
The chef looked at An Ran again and suddenly widened his eyes. While he was fretting, An Ran had already finished chopping an eggplant. Her knife skills weren’t quite as good as a professional chef’s, but not much worse. His anxious heart finally cald down.
"Miss An, if you need anything, just call anyti."
An Ran, without lifting her head, waved her hand.
In less than an hour, Yu-Xiang eggplant, dry-fried shredded beef, spicy chicken, mapo tofu, and spicy prawns were served on the table. Even Nanny Chen couldn’t stay calm. She didn’t expect such a delicate young girl to cook dishes that looked and slled so appealing.
Just by looking at the appearance, there was no difference from the villa’s chef dishes.
Looking at the four dishes, An Ran thought about Mu Xingfeng’s injury, considering that too many spicy foods might not be good. She decided to make a few non-spicy vegetable dishes.
At this mont, the sound of a car engine ca from outside. An Ran thought Mu Xingfeng had co back, but she didn’t bother and returned to the kitchen to make the vegetable dishes.
Not long after, the sound of the door opening was followed by an elderly, kind voice: "Xingfeng, how is Ran’s illness?"
Grandma Mu?
An Ran quickly put down the spatula in her hand, and Nanny Chen also put down her work, both of them ca out of the kitchen.
Seeing Grandma Mu being helped in by the security guard, adhering to the principles of Mu Xingfeng’s extrely filial girlfriend, An Ran hurried over and helped Grandma Mu to sit on the sofa.
"Grandma, why are you here?"
Grandma Mu was also surprised to see An Ran co out of the kitchen wearing an apron. Her grandson had finally managed to woo such a delicate young wife, how could he let her into the kitchen? Especially when she was unwell.
