When they arrived, An Ran got out of the car and headed straight for a mall. Jiang Zhuo quickly parked the car and hurried to follow her, keeping a step behind her.
At first, An Ran didn’t think there was a problem, but after walking so distance, she began to feel increasingly uneasy. After browsing a shop, she finally spoke up: "Driver Jiang, you could actually wait for in the car. When I’m done shopping, I’ll naturally co back to the parking lot to find you."
Having him follow her closely like this made her really uncomfortable.

"Oh, is that so? I thought you wanted to watch a movie with , and I was considering whether to buy a couple’s ticket. Since that’s the case, I’ll buy a single ticket then."
Jiang Zhuo was almost scared to the point of wetting himself, Miss An, can’t you not speak so ambiguously? He still valued his life.

"Miss An, please go ahead and buy your own ticket. I’ll just wait for you in the car," Jiang Zhuo said and practically escaped out of the cinema.
Finally getting rid of him, An Ran breathed a sigh of relief. Having Jiang Zhuo nearby always made her feel strange, as if she were being indirectly watched by Mu Xingfeng.
After buying snacks, a drink, and a movie ticket, An Ran was just about to go inside when she was suddenly bumped into, causing all her popcorn to spill on the ground with a "swoosh."
"Hey! How do you walk, do you have eyes?"
Before An Ran could say anything, she heard the other person’s accusation. She looked up and saw a sowhat familiar face.
That’s right; An Ran had only been in Imperial City for a few days. Apart from the Mu Family and those few brothers, the person in front of her was indeed familiar to her.
It was Chen Yankun’s cousin, Chen Shanshan, and her friend Ji Jie.
"An Ran?" At this mont, Chen Shanshan also recognized An Ran and looked around in panic, "Where’s Brother Mu?"

"No need to look for him. Your Brother Mu didn’t co." An Ran said, bypassing Chen Shanshan and heading inside.
Chen Shanshan didn’t believe it at first when she heard Mu Xingfeng wasn’t there. But then, seeing the ticket in An Ran’s hand, her eyes lit up instantly, and she grabbed An Ran.
"Could it be that Brother Mu doesn’t want you anymore? Look at you, looking so haggard. What is it? Did you co to the cinema to find solace after a breakup?"
An Ran looked at Chen Shanshan with an expression of disdain. How was she haggard? These past few days, Mu Xingfeng had taken such good care of her that she looked rosy and radiant.
