After finishing one bottle, just as she picked up the second, the area above her head darkened and a fair, handso young man stood in front of her.
"Miss, drinking alone?"
Although she rarely ca to bars, An Ran still understood so of the rules. Bars were the best places to hook up, but she wasn’t here to hook up tonight, only to drink.
Seeing An Ran remain silent, the young man sat down next to her, clinked his bottle with hers, and said, "I’m alone too. How about we drink together?"
Using such a cliché pick-up line, An Ran ignored him and continued drinking in silence.
The young man began speaking again, "Judging by your appearance, are you a student at Nan’an University?"
Only then did An Ran raise an eyebrow and glance at the man, noticing the Nan’an University emblem on his chest.
Noticing An Ran’s gaze, the young man smiled, "I also go to Nan’an University. This bar is close to the school, so most of the students who co here are from Nan’an University. Which departnt are you in? I’m a second-year dical student."
"I’m a freshman in the dical departnt," An Ran replied.
"Ah, so you’re a junior from the sa departnt. Have you considered which specialty you’ll choose? I’m in clinical dicine." The young man’s enthusiasm increased.
"I haven’t decided yet, but I’m also planning to apply for clinical dicine." Talking about her studies, An Ran began to engage in conversation.
"That’s great! If you co to Nan’an dical College, you should choose clinical dicine. It’s highly specialized..."
The young man continued to chat passionately, repeatedly clinking glasses with An Ran...
In the private room on the second floor of Hacker, Lin Junyang was drinking with five or six brothers, while Liu Hu sat quietly nearby with a glass of ice water in front of him.
"Hey Liu Hu, what are you doing here?" one of them asked.
Sitting stiffly on the luxurious sofa in the private room, Liu Hu replied, "Captain Mu said we are not allowed to drink while on duty."
"Why did you co if you aren’t drinking?" the person continued to ask.
Liu Hu replied again, "Lin Tou told to co, so I ca."
Lin Junyang, who was drinking, spat out a mouthful of liquor, "Guys, enough. Don’t make things hard for Liu Hu. This guy still wants to beco Captain Mu’s personal guard. He wouldn’t dare ss up at a ti like this."
"Thanks for the help, Lin Tou," Liu Hu shouted loudly when he heard Lin Junyang co to his rescue.
"Alright, let’s not get too drunk. The Nan’an University students will be here tomorrow, and as their instructors, we can’t embarrass our team. I’m going to the restroom, you guys keep playing."
Lin Junyang said as he walked out of the private room, where the explosive music assaulted his eardrums, and the wild crowd danced carelessly on the dance floor below.
Rubbing his temples, Lin Junyang felt unaccustod to such places, having not frequented them for a long ti.
Lifting his head again, he unexpectedly spotted a familiar figure in the corner of the bar.
Despite the dim light, a forr scout like him wouldn’t make a mistake.
At this mont, that petite figure sat there, nodding repeatedly, while a young man beside her continued to pour her drinks.
Touching his smooth chin, Lin Junyang’s eyes flashed with cunning as he took out his phone and dialed a number.
Before long, a deep and magnetic voice ca through the phone, "What’s up?"
"Boss, I spotted Tuzi."
"Tuzi?" Mu Xingfeng was montarily confused, then quickly understood.
Lin Junyang continued on the phone, "But Tuzi doesn’t look so good. She’s had too much to drink, though it should be fine. There’s a guy next to her."
