Back then, Sun Beibei’s grades were not good enough to get into Nan’an University’s dical School. However, due to her long-ti companionship with Guo Xinyi, who had grown accustod to having Sun Beibei at her beck and call, Guo Xinyi asked Guo Wenshan to arrange for Sun Beibei to accompany her to dical school.

"Alright, Daddy, actually Beibei didn’t do much wrong. I think the school is making a big deal out of nothing and deliberately trying to embarrass our Guo family. They know it was our family who got Sun Beibei in, yet they still treat her like this. And about that freshman representative matter I ntioned to you yesterday, they actually let that bar girl in. Daddy, you will help , won’t you?" Guo Xinyi said with so indignation, taking the opportunity to drop hints to her father.
She had already told her father about the freshman representative issue yesterday, expecting that it would topple An Ran, so she didn’t ntion asking her father to intervene back then.
Since she had to et with the president anyway, she figured she might as well bring it up. If her father put so pressure on the school, she could still be the freshman representative.
"I will discuss this with the president, you can rest assured, Daddy won’t let you suffer." Guo Wenshan reassured her.
"I knew Daddy loves the most. I’ll wait for your good news." Satisfied with her father’s promise, Guo Xinyi hung up and went back to class.
At noon, An Ran and Xiao Xiao went to the cafeteria together.
Xiao Xiao was surprised to see An Ran eating at school and teased her, "What’s this? Did Instructor Mu finally let you out for a day?"
An Ran had planned to et the bar owner yesterday at noon, but she ended up with Lu Yi instead. Xiao Xiao, unaware, thought she was with Mu Xingfeng the whole ti.
An Ran didn’t explain much, only saying, "The troop has so business today, so he’s not coming back at noon. Plus, he’s been on break recently and will only co to the city on weekends once he’s back on duty."
"So does that an you’ll be staying in the dorm?!" Xiao Xiao’s eyes lit up upon hearing this. Heaven knows how much she missed An Ran.
"Yes, I’ll be staying in the dorm. Besides, how could I leave you alone in the dorm?" An Ran smiled and pinched Xiao Xiao’s cheek.
Xiao Xiao didn’t dodge, batting her lashes playfully. "Cut it out. With Instructor Mu around, you probably don’t even rember . But without him during these long nights, you can co to for solace."
Laughing and bantering, the two walked into the cafeteria, got their als, and found a seat to eat.
"What a coincidence, can I sit here?"
The area darkened briefly as soone stood beside them. Looking up, An Ran t Lu Yi’s warm gaze.
An Ran was taken aback. She thought she had made herself clear yesterday, and Mu Xingfeng even told him they were married. Could it be that Lu Yi still hadn’t given up?
