Opened the phone and saw a text ssage from an unfamiliar number: Hi Brother Yang, I’m Xiao Xiao. Did you receive the gift? Hope you like it.
Lin Junyang looked at the ssage and twitched his mouth, recalling that careless, thoughtless, and sowhat goofy girl.
Then he glanced at the box of chocolates and sighed helplessly.
He knew his Second Brother was up to no good when Mu Xingfeng approached him in the morning with that mischievous grin.
Sure enough, he handed him a delicately wrapped box and said it was a Valentine’s Day gift.

An Ran watched Xiao Xiao texting with her head down and asked in confusion, "Who are you chatting with? Can’t even eat your al?"
"Brother Yang," Xiao Xiao hit the send button, put down her phone, and picked up her chopsticks.

She reached out for Xiao Xiao’s phone.
She didn’t really want to see the ssage—it was personal privacy. She just wanted to see Xiao Xiao’s reaction.
Sure enough, Xiao Xiao grabbed her hand and snatched back the phone: "No peeking, it’s private! If you want to see, trade it with your ssages with Instructor Mu."
An Ran touched her nose, never mind, trade her ssages with Instructor Mu? No way.
If Xiao Xiao knew about those shaless ssages Mu Xingfeng sent her, who knows how she’d criticize her.
"Alright, alright, no peeking. What’s the big deal? Everyone has a boyfriend." An Ran boasted.
Xiao Xiao’s eyes imdiately darkened at this. An Ran sensed sothing was wrong and asked, "What’s wrong, Xiao Xiao? Did Brother Yang reject you?"
An Ran was present both tis Xiao Xiao t Lin Junyang. How to say this?
She thought Xiao Xiao was a great girl—blunt, straightforward, especially honest about her feelings. Like a blank sheet of paper.
But maybe because she was too straightforward, she didn’t know how to express herself to the one she liked, just relentlessly charging ahead like a moth to a fla without considering tactics or consequences.
She could sense Lin Junyang wasn’t very interested in Xiao Xiao. Maybe, as Mu Xingfeng said, Xiao Xiao wasn’t Lin Junyang’s type at all, which made him even more averse.
"Not really," Xiao Xiao sighed. "The ssage I sent him, he didn’t reply at all."
He accepted her gift without acknowledgnt. Does he not like chocolates? What else could she possibly give him besides chocolates?
