An Ran glanced at the pair and then retracted her gaze, her words sharp and biting.
The female companion beside Xu Changqing was already displeased with him initiating conversation with this woman, and upon hearing An Ran’s humiliating words, she imdiately jumped out.
"Who are you? How are you talking? Are you blind? Who told you I’m a lingerie model?"
An Ran’s gaze lazily swept across the woman’s chest, her aning clear without words, and she feigned surprise, "Oh, you’re not? I thought such a big display was ant for showing off. But Manager Xu, are you sure you want to spend Valentine’s Day with you two? Your female companion doesn’t seem to like very much."
The woman was already fuming from An Ran’s words, and if not for Xu Changqing’s presence, she would have given An Ran a slap long ago.

"Alright, Nana, shut up."
Just as the woman was about to speak, Xu Changqing interrupted her.
Xu Changqing raised his brows, looking at An Ran with interest. He hadn’t expected this seemingly pure and serene girl to be so fierce; whenever soone displeased her, she revealed her cat-like claws. It was different from Guo Xinyi’s assertiveness, and this personality, he liked.
Compared to the won he’d had before, the girl in front of him intrigued him far more.
"Absolutely. If Miss An doesn’t like it, I can send her away right now."
Xu Changqing still held a grudge from the last ti An Ran hit him, but seeing her willing to have dinner with him now, didn’t she reconsider after going back?

Xu Changqing looked at Nana with disdain, completely devoid of the affection he had shown when entering the restaurant.

When ntioning the private room, Xu Changqing didn’t hide his smugness.
Victoria’s Valentine’s Day spots were hard to co by. Although An Ran had a place, it was just in the hall, whereas he had a private room, demonstrating his status in Nan’an.
What he didn’t know was that Mu Xingfeng chose the hall near the window for An Ran, knowing she liked to see the city’s night view. Such spots were often more coveted than private rooms.
Moreover, as the top western restaurant in Nan’an, Victoria’s dining environnt was impeccable even in the hall; it was never noisy or chaotic.
