"Go put on so pants," Mu Xingfeng said in a deep voice.
"Hm?" An Ran looked down at her lower half, confused. "I am wearing pants."
Mu Xingfeng rubbed his forehead speechlessly. "Go put on so long pants. The doctor said to keep warm."
Not knowing how else to explain, Mu Xingfeng brought up Jing Xiangyang’s instructions.
An Ran was speechless. Instructor Mu must be having a midlife crisis. He had complained about the camouflage uniform being too hot, and now that she changed into cooler clothes, he was fussing about warmth.
Having no other choice, An Ran went back to the bathroom and put on the camouflage pants.
At this ti, Lin Junyang ca back with the brown sugar and mineral water, excitedly ringing the doorbell. The continuous ringing gave an idea of how thrilled he was.
Mu Xingfeng opened the door and heard Lin Junyang’s voice, "Oh man, it’s so hot out there, Captain Mu. Let co in and have a drink, I’m so thirsty."
As he spoke, he tried to push his way in.
Mu Xingfeng stood in the doorway, blocking the entrance tightly. He calmly took the bag, then took out the bottle of mineral water and handed it to Lin Junyang. "Thanks."
Then he turned around and with a "bang," closed the door.
Lin Junyang stared at the mineral water for a long ti before realizing Captain Mu had made him buy it for this? This... this man is too cunning!
An Ran, hearing soone outside, was worried the person might co in and see her, feeling awkward. She wondered if she should hide in the bedroom but felt it wasn’t appropriate to go into a man’s bedroom. While she was still hesitating, Mu Xingfeng had already dominantly shut the door and took the bag to the kitchen.
Hmm, seems like she was overthinking it. An Ran sat back down on the sofa, hugging the hot water bottle.
Honestly, since she ca back to the city at fifteen after her grandmother passed away and started having her period, this was the first ti soone had cared for her like this, giving her a hot water bottle. She couldn’t deny she was touched.
But thinking that the one helping her with all this was Mu Xingfeng, her back felt cold. This man was too unreadable, and his face always so cold and aloof, like a perpetual lack of expression.
