An Ran silently lifted the corner of her lips and began to survey... their ho.
The living room was still as it had been half a year ago, a simple fabric sofa set, a glass coffee table, a forty-inch TV on the wall, it couldn’t be simpler.
The kitchen was even cleaner, not even a pot or bowl, not to ntion there wasn’t even a refrigerator.
"Mu Xingfeng, do you never eat at ho?"
Because she discovered that the house not only lacked pots and bowls, but even a dining table.
For An Ran, who loved cooking, the absence of these things made her feel calling this place a ho was really quite forced.
"The Guard Team has a canteen, and I don’t know how to cook. These things wouldn’t be used anyway. If you think it’s necessary, I can take you shopping to buy whatever you like, how’s that?"
Mu Xingfeng responded to An Ran from the bedroom. Though she couldn’t see him, it was easy to hear the joy in his voice.
"Sure, when I’m better we’ll go shopping. I want to buy a big refrigerator, fill it with ingredients and fruits. Then when I’m ho, you won’t need to go eat at the canteen."
As An Ran spoke, she entered the study, which was probably the most well-furnished room in the house.
A desk, an executive chair, a desktop computer and a laptop on the desk. The bookshelves around were densely packed with books, most of which were on military thes.
An Ran randomly picked a book and flipped through it.
"Do you like it?" Mu Xingfeng ca out and saw the girl reading his book in the study, and casually asked.
"No," An Ran shook her head, put down the book in her hand, and picked another book from another shelf to read for a couple of pages, "I was just checking if the books here are all real."
She genuinely doubted that most of the books were just for show, but that was not the case. The two books she just flipped through had traces of being read, and one even had so notes.
Mu Xingfeng was amused by her serious deanor. "So what’s your inspection result?"
"Well, classmate Mu Xingfeng is a diligent and studious good student." An Ran comnted solemnly.
"You little rascal, co with ."
Mu Xingfeng took An Ran into the bedroom.
"The wardrobe at ho is a bit small. It was fine for my clothes alone, but with your clothes included, it’s a bit cramped. Next ti, when we buy a dining table, we’ll also get a bigger wardrobe and shoe cabinet. For now, your clothes are on the left, mine are on the right, your underwear is in this drawer. Well, temporarily mixed with mine. If you find it uncomfortable, you can take it out and put it in the suitcase."
Mu Xingfeng noticeably cleared his throat when ntioning the underwear and secretly observed An Ran’s expression.
An Ran nodded in agreent, "Just leave it like that. We can separate them once we get a bigger wardrobe."
Although she hadn’t slept with Mu Xingfeng yet, they had already done quite intimate things. Having their underwear in the sa drawer wasn’t a big deal, she wouldn’t be petty enough to have him separate them again.
Seeing she wasn’t angry at all, Mu Xingfeng silently breathed a sigh of relief.
Heavens knew he had been conflicted about placing that underwear for a long ti, wondering if she would be upset, and wanting to see her reaction.
Fortunately, his little one seed to really accept him from the bottom of her heart.
"Sit for a while, I’ll go get food from the canteen. If you’re hungry, eat so fruit first. Don’t eat snacks," Mu Xingfeng checked the ti, took the lunchbox from the kitchen, and left.
