The boy, who ca from a remote mountain area, was already feeling uneasy in such an upscale restaurant on his first visit. Sun Beibei switching seats with him made him even more nervous, so he silently picked up his cup and moved to another table.
Guo Xinyi unapologetically sat down in his seat.
Sun Beibei then pulled up another boy and finally sat down at the sa table.
Lu Yi did not mind their little antics and signaled the waiter to start serving the dishes.
Shengbaiwei’s dishes were as reputed, though others might have felt differently. An Ran, for one, found that every dish challenged her taste buds to the extre. Be it the tender and flavorful at or the rich and lingering soup, even the simplest greens had a unique texture.
An Ran was a foodie and was usually the one cooking at ho. Though she had so cooking skills, she was no match for professionals.
An Ran was thoroughly satisfied with the food, and even the pain in her lower abdon was significantly reduced.
Not just her, but nearly everyone at the two tables was engrossed in the feast. After all, most were kids from ordinary families who rarely had the chance to dine in such a high-class restaurant.
Lu Yi sat there, watching his classmates eat with great enjoynt, feeling very content. He always knew that the lower the social class, the easier it was to find genuine happiness, a kind of joy he had never seen in his circle.
He chose to study dicine to experience more of the fundantal joys and sorrows of life rather than spending every day in that circle, like his father, surrounded by data and hidden motives, masking his true emotions like wearing a mask.

"Xinyi, what are you doing? Do you realize you’re trying to kill ?" Sun Beibei, another foodie, considered any interruption at al tis as akin to murder.
"Kill you? How much are you worth?" Guo Xinyi glanced at her, then signaled with her eyes. "Stop just eating. Why did I ask you to sit here?"
