Tang Huacheng glanced around the students below, his gaze pausing briefly when it passed by An Ran, looking sowhat surprised, then looking in other directions as usual.
"Hello students, I am your head teacher Tang Huacheng. So of the students in the class are already quite familiar with , so I’ll focus on introducing myself to the new students."
Tang Huacheng said, taking out a piece of chalk and writing three flamboyant characters on the blackboard.
"Students who have interacted with before know that I’m a person who hates trouble. Even though I’m your head teacher, I hope you all manage yourselves well. All of you here are adults, solve things you can handle by yourselves, and if you cannot, co up with a way to solve it or find the class monitor for help."
After saying this, Tang Huacheng’s gaze fell on Lu Yi, "Oh right, just to inform everyone, this class’s monitor will be Lu Yi. Alright, I’ve said everything I need to. Next, let’s arrange the seats. According to our usual rule, you’ve already seen the ranking, so take your seats according to your ranking. Five minutes from now we’ll be done."
After speaking, Tang Huacheng glanced at his watch and walked out of the classroom.
"Wow, the new head teacher is so cool, right?" A girl looked at Tang Huacheng’s departing figure, her eyes sparkling, "He’s just so handso."
"What’s in your heads, girls? Today is the first day, and all this Teacher Tang said was for us not to look for him if sothing cos up. I really don’t get it; why did he beco a head teacher if he hates trouble and doesn’t want to manage students?"
A boy was packing his bag, smirking disdainfully as he spoke.
"You really don’t know, do you? I heard our head teacher is a returnee doctoral graduate from SUS dical College in M Country. Forget about Nan University; a doctorate from SUS dical College has a prestigious status in the entire dical field. For soone like that, even a little guidance in academics is hugely beneficial. You really think Teacher Tang is going to babysit you?" Another boy said.
The first boy heard this, stuck out his tongue, "So that’s how it is. I just thought he seed a bit aloof. And shouldn’t the class monitor be elected by the whole class? Isn’t it too arbitrary for him to make a direct appointnt?"
"How could that be? Didn’t you see no one from Teacher Tang’s original class had any complaints? I heard that Lu Yi is not only good at studies but also has great leadership skills. Rumor has it he is the future head of the Lu Family in Nan’an. No matter what others think, I fully support having soone like him as my class monitor."

An Ran listened to the discussions around her, looking at the seat by the window in the front row, where a male student was already organizing his books. She wondered if she should just go over and claim it.
"Excuse , this is my seat. Could you please hurry up and organize your things? Ti is almost up."
A boy ca over, placing his bag on the desk where An Ran was sitting, reminding her.
An Ran snapped back to reality, hurriedly packing her bag, and moved to the inner seat in the first row, whispering, "Xiao Xiao, can we switch seats this sester?"
Xiao Xiao was organizing her desk. She lifted her head and looked around puzzledly, her gaze finally landing by the window, "Ranran, why do you want to switch seats? Don’t tell it’s bad feng shui over there? I think your spot is better than mine."
The class had a lot of students, and being in the south, window seats were always coveted spots in every classroom, especially for the refreshing breeze that could flow in during the sumr.
