As they were talking, Jiang Zhuo returned with a young woman behind him.
The woman was very dignified, tall and straight because of her Guard Team background, not graceful like other won but standing very upright.
She wore a simple shirt and pants, a bit worn but clean, and neatly dressed.
Her short hair made the woman look smart and competent, her skin was sowhat dark but healthy and flushed.
If Mu Xingfeng had already considered keeping the woman upon hearing from Liu Hu, seeing her in person solidified his decision.
With his eye for people, if she hadn’t been injured and retired, she would have shined in the Guard Team. It’s a pity.
"Sir, I’m back," Jiang Zhuo greeted Mu Xingfeng and introduced the woman, "This is Su Jin, the housekeeper I found, and my old acquaintance. Su Jin, this is Young Master Mu, my forr squad leader."
Su Jin walked up to Mu Xingfeng and gave a proper salute, "Sir!"
Mu Xingfeng returned her salute, "Which Guard Team were you from?"
"Southern China Guard Team, 118th Battalion," replied Su Jin, her voice loud and clear.
"Southern China Guard Team, 118th Battalion," Mu Xingfeng murmured. It was the only female Guard Team in Imperial City. No wonder. "Managing my villa, it’s a bit of a demotion."
Mu Xingfeng seed in a rare good mood, even making a joke.
Su Jin stood straight again and saluted, "It’s an honor to work for you, Sir."
Su Jin had a dream of the Guard Team. Although she retired honorably, she had a special sentint for the team.
Back in her hotown, the villagers, not understanding, believed she must have done sothing wrong to retire early and without transitioning, making life in the village cold and lonely. Now, being with old Guard Team fellows and working for Mu Xingfeng, she felt truly content.
