"Um, Brother Yang, Xiao Xiao really only drank a bit. Her alcohol tolerance is just like this, don’t mind it. She’ll be fine after so sleep." An Ran fumbled for her keys while speaking on behalf of Xiao Xiao as she opened the door.
"It’s okay, she doesn’t need to sleep to be fine," Lin Junyang said, holding Xiao Xiao by the arm like a little chicken, pushing the door open and taking her directly to the bathroom.
Watching Lin Junyang’s rough movents, An Ran had a bad premonition. Sure enough, the next second, the sound of running water and Xiao Xiao’s pig-slaughtering screams ca from the bathroom.
"Who’s there? Who dares splash ? Let go of ."
"Lin Junyang, you bastard, how dare you splash with cold water? You’re dead."
The bathroom door was roughly opened again, Lin Junyang ca out, cold-faced, and said to An Ran beside him, "I’ll head back to the Guard Team first. I’ll co to pick you up tomorrow morning to go back to the Imperial City together. Also, tell that idiot inside that the next ti she drinks, it won’t just be cold water on her head; I’ll make her take a cold bath."
He finished speaking and left without waiting for An Ran’s reply, pushing the door shut behind him.
An Ran twitched her mouth; it seed like this was the first ti she had seen Lin Junyang so angry. A cold bath – An Ran shivered at the thought and quickly ran into the bathroom.
She saw Xiao Xiao sitting on the ground, her hair all tangled, with water dripping down her long hair, clothes clinging to her body, looking utterly miserable.
Seeing An Ran co in, Xiao Xiao lifted her head in a daze, her eyes vacant and hollow, her voice hoarse as she asked, "Ranran, do you think I was really wrong?"
An Ran’s heart ached seeing Xiao Xiao like this. Xiao Xiao had put all her passion into Lin Junyang, and now Lin Junyang treated her this way. How could she not be heartbroken?
She quickly grabbed a dry towel from the side, wrapped it around Xiao Xiao’s wet hair, and comforted her, "How could that be? You’re not wrong."
"But why does Lin Junyang treat like this?" Xiao Xiao said, lying on her knees and sobbing.
"Xiao Xiao, are you really this foolish?" An Ran ran water into the bathtub, unable to stop herself from speaking.
Xiao Xiao lifted her head, her confused gaze fixed on An Ran.
An Ran sighed, "Why does Brother Yang treat you this way?"
Xiao Xiao shook her head. She didn’t know. She really didn’t know. She obviously liked Lin Junyang so much, Lin Junyang didn’t like her back; it was fine if he was an to her, but tonight, he actually splashed her with cold water. She really didn’t understand why he treated her like this.
"Think about it. If it was soone else who got drunk, would Brother Yang treat them this way? He did this entirely because the drunk person was you, Xiao Xiao." An Ran emphasized, full of both anger and frustration.
"So why would he treat like this?" Xiao Xiao still felt aggrieved and asked.
"Ah, you really are foolish. How many n like to see their woman getting drunk? And today, we were drinking with Lu Yi. Since you got drunk, Lu Yi got a scolding from Brother Yang."
"Why did Brother Yang scold Lu Yi?" Xiao Xiao removed the towel from her head and clambered up on her hands and knees, looking at An Ran.
After finishing with the bath water, An Ran tested the temperature, shook off her hands, and, standing up, grabbed the towel from Xiao Xiao’s hand, drying her hands as she said, "That’s for you to think about. I don’t know. If you really can’t figure it out, then you’re hopeless. Hurry up and take a hot bath. We’re going to the Imperial City tomorrow. Don’t catch a cold."
As An Ran walked out of the bathroom, Xiao Xiao stayed in the sa position. After a mont, sothing flashed through her mind. Do n really dislike their won drinking?
