Xie Yuting took two steps closer and asked softly, "Are you still with the Southern Army?"

Xie Yuting stood a step away from Lin Junyang, not stepping closer, "If you get the chance, you should transfer to the Imperial City. Uncle Lin and the others are getting old; it would be easier if you were nearby to take care of them."
"My sister is here, and that’s enough. I’m used to it over there," Lin Junyang said, glancing around the banquet hall again.
Xie Yuting wanted to say more but heard soone calling her from not far away.
She turned to see the man and smiled gently, "Junyang, my husband is calling , excuse ."
Lin Junyang only nodded slightly, saying nothing else.
Xiao Xiao arrived just then and saw Lin Junyang staring blankly ahead. She patted him on the shoulder and asked, "What are you looking at?"
Lin Junyang withdrew his gaze, surprised to realize he had been lost in thought. Seeing Xiao Xiao looking at him, his eyes darted away nervously, "Nothing."
Xiao Xiao followed his previous gaze and saw a woman in a light pink gown up ahead, her hair elegantly styled, holding onto a man’s arm and leaning against his shoulder affectionately like a little bird.
Imdiately understanding, she pointed at the woman and said, "Is that your first love?"
An Ran had once told her that Lin Junyang had a girlfriend in college, and based on that description, she should be the kind who acts coyly dependent. Seeing the woman ahead, and Lin Junyang’s reaction, it must be her.
Lin Junyang glared at Xiao Xiao and gave no answer to her question.
