"Without Shen Qi, I think it’s quite tasty, it’s just that my appetite has always been rather small," An Ran hurriedly said.
Shen Qi breathed a sigh of relief, "That’s good. I was worried you might not get used to it."
Passing a small supermarket, Lu Yi stopped, "Hold on a bit, I’m going to buy so stuff."
An Ran glanced at Shen Qi and blinked, "Looks like our Young Master Lu doesn’t quite enjoy your hotown specialties."
Sure enough, shortly after, Lu Yi ca out with a bag of bread and cookies. Seeing the two girls smiling at him, he lifted his hand with so embarrassnt, "Planning to read for a while, so I prepared so night snacks. If any of you want so, I bought plenty."
"No, eating night snacks is the easiest way to gain weight, and it’s not good for the digestive system to rest at night," Shen Qi refused, currently studying Traditional Chinese dicine and paying great attention to health. But after speaking, she turned to An Ran, "Do you want to save so?"
An Ran shook her head, "I don’t need any either."
She really didn’t need any, not to ntion she eats less at night without issue, Lu Yi had handed her so snacks along the way, so even if she got hungry, she had sothing to fill her stomach.
Shen Qi gazed toward An Ran, her body suddenly froze, her pupils contracted, and imdiately she pushed An Ran aside and ran behind her.
"Qiqi," Zhu Pengfei called out and followed her.
An Ran and Lu Yi also rushed over, stopped after a few steps at a corner.
"Qiqi, what’s wrong? Why are you running?" Zhu Pengfei asked, panting.
Shen Qi stared at the quiet road ahead and the bustling crowd on the other side, her brow slightly furrowed, "I think I just saw my brother."
"Didn’t your brother go to F Province for work? Did he co back during this ti?" Zhu Pengfei asked, looking around.
"I don’t know," Shen Qi said, pulling out her phone to find her brother’s number and dialed it.
The ringtone sounded a few tis, and the other side answered with a low and hoarse voice, seemingly while sleeping.
"Hey, brother, where are you?" Shen Qi asked toward the direction where the figure disappeared.
"Qiqi, I’m sleeping in the staff dormitory, do you need anything?" Shen Bin’s yawn sound ca through the phone.
"Nothing... It’s just that I wanted to tell you I ca ho. Earlier, I ntioned not wanting to co ho but to follow the school to support the mountain area, surprisingly the school’s chosen spot is right in our town so I ca back with my classmates. Did I disturb your rest?"
Hearing Shen Bin truly seed to be sleeping, Shen Qi asked uneasily, concerned about disturbing her brother’s hard-earned rest.
"It’s alright," upon hearing Shen Qi was ho, Shen Bin seed to have woken up, "You’ve lucked out with the school’s special transport vehicle. As long as you’re ho, I’m at ease. Do you still have money on you?"
"Yes, the money you sent last ti hasn’t been spent. I don’t need that much money, brother, you should learn to save money, you also need to find a sister-in-law for in the future."
"What sister-in-law? Having you as my sister is enough. I’ll save the money for your wedding dowry. Alright, I won’t talk anymore, I have a shift tonight. I’ll get so more sleep," Shen Bin said, preparing to hang up.
Shen Qi gave a couple of reminders before hanging up the phone.
Looking at the three, Shen Qi awkwardly raised her phone, "I really made a mistake, just now I saw soone’s back and thought it was my brother."
