In just a half day today, I’ve been accused of mistreatnt twice by my little wife.
An Ran lowered her head and smiled, a hint of sweetness rising in her heart, as she got up to change clothes.
"Do you have no other plans today?" She felt a bit uneasy.
Mu Xingfeng changed his shoes, took the car keys, and raised his hand to rub An Ran’s head, "My task today is to accompany my good wife."
"Mu Xingfeng, do you know, you really resemble a foolish lord like this." An Ran’s face was full of disdain; why is high-cool and noble Instructor Mu, untainted by mortal dust, now always looking like a rogue?
"If I could, I’d willingly beco a foolish lord for my wife."
The one called a foolish lord had already picked up the backpack for the little girl and grabbed a sunshade as well.
Mu Xingfeng’s driving skills are superb; the road is not crowded in the afternoon, and he got the Land Rover up to 160 mph feeling stable.
An Ran sat in the passenger seat, taking out her phone to catch up on the news from the last few days.
Living in the mountains for half a month without internet, she felt disconnected.
"Mu Xingfeng, your drill made the news this ti," seeing a military news article, An Ran clicked it open, it was exactly the exercise of the Nan’an Guard Team and the Southern China Guard Team, though the details weren’t complete.
Mu Xingfeng humd a response, about to say sothing when the little girl exclaid, "Wang Han’s new drama is about to air."
Seeing the little girl beaming with joy, it was clear she was far more excited than about his exercise.
"Ranran, I’ll leave the Guard Team tomorrow morning; during this ti, you should stay at the Guard Team. I feel a bit uneasy about you being alone in Nan’an."
Mu Xingfeng spoke to An Ran while driving.
"Off to another mission?" In An Ran’s impression, Mu Xingfeng always had one mission after another.
"No, the exercise isn’t over. Although I can’t participate anymore, I still need to oversee it there, but it’s nearing the last phase. Once it’s over, I’ll return, so you won’t be on your own for many days."
Concerned she’d feel bored alone at the Guard Team, Mu Xingfeng gave her a heads-up.

"Absolutely, you’re my wife, staying at the Guard Team with ans you’re accompanying."
Receiving Mu Xingfeng’s affirmation, An Ran laughed more like she had gotten candy.
After lunch, it was already three in the afternoon; the sun was still high in the sky, pedestrians on the street were scarce to lant. The occasional silhouettes mostly hurried along; probably, unless necessary, no one would want to step out to sunbathe on this street.
Mu Xingfeng opened the sunshade, holding it above An Ran’s head, then checked his watch, "Wife, it’s still early; how about your husband takes you to the amusent park?"
From what he rembered, little girls loved such places, yet he never had taken An Ran.
An Ran glanced at the sky through the sunshade, feeling the blazing heat of the sun, along with the heat rising from the ground. She even wondered if what Mu Xingfeng just said was a hallucination.
Taking her to the amusent park on such a hot day, did she offend him?
