The first thing Uhtred noticed the mont he brought up his status panel was the massive leap in his ntal attributes. Intelligence and perception had both increased by a whopping 15 points, while his willpower had jumped by a solid 10.
This has to be because of my new tal sense skill, Uhtred reasoned, staring at the numbers. Being able to actively perceive the tallic aspects of cosmic essence in his imdiate surroundings was essentially magic. Therefore, the massive increase in those specific attributes simply ant they were what dictated magical capacity.
The next highest increase was his vitality, which had climbed by 8 points, which was also not surprising seeing as his body’s natural healing was much improved. anwhile, his endurance had increased by 5 points, while agility and strength had only crawled up by 3 points each.
The differences in his physical attributes were not as drastic, which wasn’t surprising to Uhtred since the Epicyon wolf cores he had just consud for cultivation were heavily tal-attuned. Unlike the agility cores of the Monitor Lizards, theirs weren’t geared towards body enhancent.
Finally, the last attribute, Luck, predictably, hadn’t budged at all. By now, Uhtred figured that specific stat was governed by entirely different rules.
"Well, at least most of my attributes are above forty points now," Uhtred muttered aloud. Seeing the numbers go up made the brutal, life-or-death struggle he had just survived feel significantly more rewarding.
Uhtred closed his status panel then pulled up the world ranking leaderboard to check where the King Alexei guy stood in terms of levels. And imdiately he did, his eyebrows raised slightly in surprise at the contents:
[World Ranking]
━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Rank No: 1
Na: Red
Level: 10
Territory Owned: Nil
Dungeons Owned: Nil
━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Rank No: 2
Na: King Alexei
Level: 6
Territory Owned: Nil
Dungeons Owned: Nil
━━━━━━━━━━━━━
King Alexei was still in second place, as Uhtred expected, but he was sitting at level 6, which was much lower than Uhtred’s estimates entirely.
"He’s only gained one level since the last ti?" Uhtred muttered to himself, letting out a short, incredulous huff. He had been working his ass off thinking this guy was breathing down his neck, yet he had only gone up a single level the entire ti.
Uhtred hissed, lampooning his own frantic anxiety. Though, in truth, he didn’t really mind it. Even without the perceived pressure from King Alexei, he would have pushed just as hard. That was simply his nature.
Right as he closed the leaderboard, the system flashed a new notice across his vision.
[Congratulations! Full Channel Function Requirents t]
[All functions and privileges unlocked. Your channel is now registered and visible on the public multiversal registry]
Uhtred had barely even read the notice, when the channel panel on the left side of his view erupted into chaos. A flood of ssages started pouring into the interface as entities from all across the Grand Multiverse detected the newly active channel signal coming from this world.
Without a mont’s hesitation, not even bothering to read any of the ssages, Uhtred focused his intent on the new controls he’d gotten access to and toggled the stream off.
And imdiately, the panel, along with its content, vanished into silence.
"Much better," Uhtred nodded, letting out a pleased, deeply relieved sigh. This was exactly what he had wanted to do during his first interaction with Ascendant Favoured One back when he lacked any form of control over his channel.
"I don’t even have ti for sponsors in the first place," Uhtred snorted. He still rembered the Ascendant’s grim warning before he was penalized. But even without that, he simply couldn’t deal with pesky ssages at the mont. He hadn’t even finished reading all the new system notices yet.
[Notice: Public channel capacity is limited to 100 occupants simultaneously until Rank Evolution threshold is reached at Level 25]
Uhtred only humd, noting the restriction and waving it away as he quickly moved to the notice that had intrigued him from the mont it appeared.
[Congratulations! Multiversal Store unlocked]
[You can now purchase items and resources from storefronts all across the Grand Multiverse directly using your multiversal tokens]
Uhtred opened the multiversal store imdiately, eager to see what was available and, more importantly, to figure out just how much purchasing power his 300 hard-earned multiversal tokens actually held. Was it a substantial sum, or practically pocket change?
The mont the store panel opened up in his view, the first thing he noticed was that it was split into two distinct sections.
The first section was entirely system-managed. Uhtred quickly scanned the listings and realized everything here was generated directly by the System itself. It was filled with standard utility items, consumables, and temporary magical effects — including the low-grade one-ti barrier he had used up at the very start, and also the world pioneer revitalization effect he had received just monts ago.
The second section, on the other hand, held no such system products. Instead, it was an endless directory of actual digital storefronts that looked like they were owned by various advanced races and integrated civilizations across the Grand Multiverse. The sheer volu of sub-shops made it look like a massive online marketplace.
Uhtred quickly noticed that the prices seed tightly regulated by the system behind the scenes, as there were no major fluctuations between identical resources.
But as his eyes focused on the prices of the contents themselves, he couldn’t help but suck in a very sharp breath.
Looking at the system side of the store, the price tag on the one-ti consumable effects he had already used made him let out a loud curse.
[System Store Listing: One ti use revitalization effect]
[Price: 1,000,000 Multiversal Tokens]
"Bloody fucking hell!" Uhtred’s expression turned utterly sour. "You should have just let keep the damn thing and sell it instead!" There was no way in hell he would have willingly consud that healing effect if he had known it was so absurdly expensive.
His entire brutal, terrifying struggle against the Epicyon wolf pack had only rewarded him with 300 multiversal tokens, yet the dical rejuvenation he’d been granted as a "bonus" cost a whopping one million?
"Just what kind of broken system scale is this?"
