"Princess, we have already docked with the fleet sent to welco you. The one who has co to welco you is Colonel Edwin," Horus stood on Klein's right side and said in a low voice.

"Hmm..." Klein nodded and said to Li Yu on her left, "Edwin is a high-ranking military officer of the civilization, and also my cousin."

"He sounds like an officer with a boundless future," Li Yu chid in, his gaze unconsciously sweeping past Horus.

Horus's face was expressionless, and there was not the slightest ripple in his eyes, but Li Yu just couldn't help but feel his scalp tingle from ti to ti.

Ever since he and Klein had chatted yesterday, Klein had made Li Yu stay by her side, one on each side along with Horus, like two door gods.

However, Li Yu wasn't happy about this at all. Klein seed to want him to check and balance Horus. Although her thods were rather immature, her transformation could still be seen.

With only Horus by her side, it was very easy to cause a bad influence.

But the problem was, Li Yu didn't want to step into the ring with this Old Scher Horus at all. And Horus didn't show any reaction to Klein's immature balancing act.

As the Black Knight Warship exited Warp Mode, the small fleet led by Edwin appeared in the viewport.

At the sa ti, a connection request was sent to the Black Knight. A Holographic Screen popped up, revealing Edwin's young and calm face.

"Princess, welco back," Edwin's voice was calm, not mixed with any emotion.

"Colonel Edwin, you've worked hard." Klein smiled warmly, "We were delayed on the road for a long ti, I'm very sorry."

"It's what I should do." Edwin shook his head. His eyes moved slightly, sweeping past Li Yu on Klein's left side, but he didn't deliberately linger.

"The one-ti Directional Star Gate is ready. We can return to the Central Star System at any ti." Edwin added, "Do you have any other matters?"

"There are still so distressed survivors on the ship. Is there a Life Planet nearby? Let's drop them off first," Klein said.

Hearing this, Edwin frowned imperceptibly, but there was no hesitation. "Near the location of the one-ti Directional Star Gate, there is a Life Planet."

"Then let's set off." Klein nodded.

Edwin then proceeded to dock. He ca from the command ship of the small fleet to the Black Knight fleet, while the rest of the warships beca the Black Knight's frigates.

Edwin acted with vigor and determination, without the slightest hesitation. Wearing his Combat Suit, he arrived at the top deck.

"Princess..." He cupped his fists, folded them in front of his chest, and showed his respect to Klein. Klein simultaneously returned the gesture.

"Lord Horus..." Edwin respectfully gave Horus a military salute. This was the etiquette of the Guixing Military. As one of the forr military bigwigs, Horus still held considerable prestige to this day.

"Mm, Connor has a worthy successor." Horus gave him a lot of face, offering a word of praise.

Li Yu blinked. Edwin didn't pay any attention to him, nor did he even ask who he was, making it clear he was ignoring him.

However, Li Yu wasn't angry. Edwin ca from a noble background, so there was no need for him to ask about everyone he t. More often than not, others were the ones taking the initiative to greet him.

He's not also wondering why I'm ignoring him, is he? Li Yu's thoughts wandered, bored out of his mind.

According to Edwin's coordinates, the group traveled to the location of the Directional Star Gate.

As one of the four founding mbers of the Civilization Alliance, the Return Star Civilization's internal territory, though not as vast as the Star Glory Empire's, was still exceptionally broad.

Relying solely on spaceship warps, it would take quite a bit of ti to arrive at the Central Star System.

A Directional Star Gate could only teleport to fixed Star Gate coordinates. The manufacturing process wasn't complicated, and a one-ti-use Star Gate was even simpler, basically only needing to deploy the modules.

It didn't take long for the fleet to arrive at the coordinates. The Star Gate was constructed near a Life Planet.

In the starry sky, the star emitted a brilliant glow. Not far away floated a hexagonal Star Gate. Dense spatial energy circulated within the gate, taking the form of a deep blue vortex, relying on stellar energy to maintain its existence.

There were also several warships patrolling nearby, just in case.

As the fleet approached, the Star Gate continued to magnify in their vision. Getting closer, the Star Gate was massive and spectacular.

The Black Knight fleet did not warp imdiately, but sailed to the nearby Life Planet.

The distressed survivors in the lower deck had already been gathered. They were sowhat terrified and uneasy, looking at each other in dismay, not knowing what had happened.

It wasn't until they saw Klein that hope flickered in their eyes, and they surged forward in unison.

"Respected Princess Klein, why did you stop coming to see us?"

"Beautiful Princess Klein..."

Klein's expression was indifferent. Despite these distressed survivors continuously calling out to her, she didn't make a single movent. She was blocked by heavily ard soldiers, and not a single survivor dared to step forward.

The voices gradually cald down. These distressed survivors keenly noticed that Klein had no reaction to their calls.

Many of their eyes flickered, looking at each other, all having a vague premonition of sothing bad.

"Were all these people saved by Princess Klein?" Although Edwin seed to be asking a question, his tone was certain.

Li Yu glanced at Edwin, not knowing who he was talking to. Horus didn't pay attention to him, so he couldn't be talking to him, right?

"I'm talking to you." Edwin looked at Li Yu. His tone wasn't aggressive, but it carried a sense of indisputability.

Horus looked over with interest, seemingly wanting to see what would happen.

"Uh-huh," Li Yu nodded, which counted as an answer.

"Are you one of them too?" Edwin continued to press.

"I suppose so..." Li Yu's perfunctory attitude could be seen even by a fool.

"If you are, say yes. If you aren't, say no," Edwin's tone grew slightly heavier.

Li Yu felt it was baffling and was a bit displeased. What kind of madness had taken over this Edwin?

"He's Princess Klein's friend..." Horus suddenly spoke up, as if trying to get Li Yu out of trouble.

Hearing this, Edwin's eyes narrowed. Surprisingly, he stopped talking and looked away.

Li Yu looked at Horus, and Horus had already turned his head away. His words didn't seem to carry any extra aning, and Li Yu was indeed considered Klein's friend.

But Li Yu kept feeling that sothing wasn't right. Would Horus be so kind as to help him out of a tight spot?

"Below is a Life Planet. The environnt is decent. According to the Universal Planet asurent Standard, it's considered a Level One planet." Klein addressed the nurous distressed survivors, "I will leave you on this planet."

"What do you an, Level One planet?"

"My hotown was a Level Three planet. A Level One planet is only barely habitable; it doesn't have any other infrastructure."

"..."

The distressed survivors beca noisy again. Among them, a few people's faces looked incredibly ugly as they listened to the surrounding noise. These idiots still hadn't realized sothing was wrong.

The Universal Planet asurent Standard divided Life Planets and mineral planets into ten standards, and it was highly authoritative. Level One was just barely within the category of being habitable.

Listening to the surrounding noise, Klein's face didn't change as she continued, "However, not everyone is qualified to go down."

"Previously, so of you secretly banded together, using my na to oppress the weak, and even insulted , turning a blind eye to my kindness. Therefore, I will punish those people."

Imdiately, a large number of distressed survivors turned pale and backed away constantly, as if foreseeing sothing.

Edwin's eyes suddenly burst with a sharp light. He stared at Klein, sowhat in disbelief, as if finding it hard to believe these words ca from her.

"David, Mar, Sauron..." As Brown read out one na after another, people continuously stumbled and fell, their eyes losing focus.

"All of the above... execute!" Klein's face was cold, and cruel orders spat from her lips.

Edwin took a deep breath, his entire body trembling slightly. Li Yu looked at the seemingly frantic Edwin and felt completely baffled.

Horus withdrew his gaze; everything was under control.

"No, you can't treat us like this!"

"What evidence do you have that we committed cris!?"

"..."

The people whose nas were called let out hysterical roars, cursing loudly.

"I have the right to dispose of you like this, and I don't need any evidence." Klein's domineering aura leaked out. The surrounding soldiers rushed into the crowd of distressed survivors and dragged those people out.

There were a huge number of them, making up almost two-thirds of the total distressed survivors. The remaining ones were the real victims; they were in rags, trembling, and their eyes were filled with fear.

Li Yu could say with certainty that there were definitely no false charges here.

That Old Scher Horus must have secretly gathered all the evidence, just waiting to hand it over to Klein.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Gunshots and wails continuously rang out.

Klein's face softened quite a bit. "You don't need to panic. I will drop you off on that Life Planet below. You are already free."

However, under this kind of background music, no one dared to speak, let alone express gratitude.

"Thank you... Big Sister..." A tender, trembling voice ca from the remaining crowd of distressed survivors.

Through the gaps in the crowd, Klein saw that emaciated child. He was also very frightened, held tightly in his mother's arms, but he kept repeating this sentence.

Klein didn't make any movents. Complex emotions revealed in her eyes as she waved her hand.

The remaining distressed survivors were then sent onto the small aircraft and delivered to the Life Planet below.

"Klein... what is wrong?" It was only now that Edwin cald down, suppressing the excitent in his heart, and muttered sowhat confusedly.

In the next second, he frowned slightly, realizing he had misspoken. Looking around, his gaze landed on the expressionless Li Yu beside him, but he didn't speak, and a mont later he looked away.

This guy isn't a siscon, is he? Li Yu was quite close and heard Edwin's muttering, grumbling in his heart.

Return Star seed to allow non-direct blood relatives to marry.

No one could answer Edwin's doubts, because Horus had long issued a gag order. Whoever dared to spread the matter of Klein's breakdown at that ti could wait for military punishnt.

Military punishnt was light; being targeted by the Old Scher Horus was the most terrifying thing.

Only after dealing with this group of distressed survivors did the Black Knight fleet begin its return journey, gradually entering the Star Gate.

An extrely strong pulling force ca from the other end of the Star Gate, an unknown distance away, like a Black Hole, wanting to drag them all in.

The fleet entered the Star Gate, and the world outside the viewport instantly brightened.

The interior of the Stargate Channel was filled with violent spatial energy, but constrained by Star Gate technology, it ford a stable channel, as if a fierce beast had turned into a tad pet.

And the warship's movent seed to have stopped. No sense of speed could be felt, as if the fleet had stopped moving inside the Star Gate.

However, what seed like only an instant later, the hull suddenly shook. The light of the spatial energy around them vanished like an ebbing tide, and the scene outside the viewport once again turned into a pitch-black universe dotted with jewel-like starlight.

The Star Gate that was originally in front of them was now behind the fleet.

And massive numbers of starry sky defensive fortresses appeared all around, the scale of the defending forces incomparably massive.

A special fleet waited in front of the Black Knight Warship. Its appearance was unique; it was not a main battle model.

Beep beep...

At this mont, all the warships of the Black Knight fleet received a ssage from this special fleet at the sa ti:

"Welco back, the Pearl of Return Star—Princess Klein."

A Holographic Screen popped up, and a blue-skinned Yorkian officer saluted everyone. "Princess Klein, welco back. I am the captain of the No. 3 Honor Guard Fleet—Bolf."

"I know you." Klein nodded, her attitude not overly gentle.

This made Bolf mutter to himself. Wasn't it said that the Princess smiled at everyone she t? Did I do sothing wrong?

The central star system of the Return Star Civilization was nad Return Star. It had been modified through special technology. The massive Main Planet stood in the center, and the star and other celestial bodies all orbited around the Main Planet.

A deep blue river of stars flowed around the star system, like a ribbon, covering the entire Return Star. This was Return Star's cutting-edge defense—[Galaxy Veil].

Among top-tier civilizations, it wasn't that they didn't have star system-level thods. As their headquarters, they naturally had to deploy the best defensive asures.

The [Galaxy Veil] could protect Return Star from any attack. Before the veil was broken, Return Star was absolutely safe.

At the sa ti, entering the veil also required a special thod; one had to possess an Admission Protocol. The Admission Protocol would randomly assign a secret key, and only those with the secret key would not be annihilated by the veil.

Return Star's Main Planet was extrely massive. Thirty-six relatively smaller moons and eight Life Planets orbited it. The surface was covered with architectural complexes, and the moons were also inhabited by a large number of Return Star Citizens.

Around the planet were also dotted large orbital stations and massive space hubs. Special energy tracks moved along with the moons' orbits, and rapid transit vehicles continuously shuttled through them. Though complex, it never made a mistake.

"As expected, very spectacular," Li Yu couldn't help but sigh with emotion as he looked at the gradually approaching Return Star.

"Return Star is composed of thirty-six moons, eight Life Planets, seven hundred and sixty-three space hubs, and five thousand eight hundred orbital stations. It is the fifth Level Ten planet in interstellar space,"

Klein introduced sequentially, making Li Yu feel a bit guilty again. Stop talking, I see Edwin is about to draw his gun.

Horus was a big shot, Edwin was the new nobility, and Return Star was their ho.

He was the only one who had just arrived here, so it was self-evident who Klein was introducing it to.
