When Li Yu returned to his personal lounge in Tyron Tower, Hunter was, unsurprisingly, waiting anxiously for him.
Upon seeing Li Yu's return, he finally breathed a sigh of relief, as if a massive weight had been lifted from his chest.
Li Yu shot Hunter a rather speechless glance, shaking his head and not bothering to acknowledge him.
"There was another explosion outside just now. It's not peaceful around here, so you should try to go out as little as possible," Hunter advised with concern.
"You're just afraid I might actually run away one of these days," Li Yu pointed out rcilessly.
"How could that be?" Hunter hurriedly denied. His own money was completely gone, and now Li Yu was the only strong backer he had left; he absolutely had to cling to him tightly.
Hiss!
The chanical door opened, and Mo Duo walked in. Seeing that Li Yu was already back, she paused for a brief mont before announcing, "Your money has been collected. A two-hundred-thousand bet yielded a one-million return."
Hunter swallowed hard. Sitting on the sofa with ice-cold hands and feet, his mind echoed with a single tragic refrain. 'My money... my money...'
'Why didn't I bet on this kid back then? I should have had absolute faith in him.'
'Damn it...'
"Register a Black Hole Account, and I will transfer it to you." Mo Duo hadn't returned carrying a massive pile of physical cash.
Li Yu rattled off his account number, and without any hesitation, Mo Duo transferred the one million Star Coins directly to him.
Now, Li Yu's account held a total of five million Star Coins. This was considered a massive fortune, more than enough to live out the rest of his life peacefully on a remote planet like Heavenly Desolation Star.
"Third Fatty is dead. Was that your doing?" Mo Duo suddenly asked.
This caused Hunter, who had just managed to calm his nerves, to widen his eyes once again. 'What? Third Fatty is dead? When did that happen?'
"How did you know?" Li Yu asked in surprise.
"The local Black Hole Community on Heavenly Desolation Star is already in an uproar. Everyone is discussing how Thorn Fla is going to handle this matter."
Quite a few people had witnessed Third Fatty's death at the ti, and information transmission within the Interstellar Society faced almost no limitations of ti or space.
Because of this, many people were already well aware of the incident.
Hunter finally snapped out of his daze and hastily opened the Black Hole Network. Sure enough, the place was in absolute chaos.
"The number three of Thorn Fla? I heard that guy was a total creep. Who did he offend this ti?"
"Apparently, one of his subordinate Scavengers took him out, and it supposedly involved his woman too."
"The comnter above , elaborate on those details..."
"Give it a rest. A Scavenger taking out the number three of Thorn Fla? Don't just believe everything you hear... What a bunch of idiots."

A massive crowd was arguing endlessly on the Black Hole Network, all waiting to see how Thorn Fla would react.
"You went out just now to kill Third Fatty?" Hunter stared with wide eyes. The news had co far too suddenly, leaving him struggling to process it.
"Yeah, and I even got ambushed by the Ghost Squad," Li Yu grumbled, swearing under his breath. He would definitely get his revenge sooner or later.
However, the Ghost Squad was hidden incredibly deep across Heavenly Desolation Star. Many people knew of their existence, but absolutely no one could find them.
The forr Archon of Heavenly Desolation Star had even publicly hunted them down, only to be forced to step down when a scandal involving raising rfolk as pets was exposed.
That made him one of the shortest-serving Archons in the history of Heavenly Desolation Star.
Because of this, many of the big shots on Heavenly Desolation Star were completely unwilling to provoke them.
"Old Lu has been dead for less than a month, right..." Hunter suddenly realized this fact. Ever since Old Lu died, it was as if this kid had beco a completely different person.
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
A deafening roar echoed from the chanical door as the tal groaned and warped. Accompanied by the screech of tearing steel, a massive hand reached through the edge of the fra, attempting to forcefully pry the door open.
Li Yu narrowed his eyes. 'That was fast.' Hunter and Mo Duo were both filled with shock. Who would actually dare to commit acts of violence inside Tyron Tower?
Crash!!
The chanical door was torn apart entirely as a burly figure stepped inside. A terrifying, murderous aura washed over them, making the intruder look like a demon ascending from hell.
"Who the hell told you to kill soone from Thorn Fla?" Tu Rui forced the words through his clenched teeth, his thick fangs glinting with a cold light.
His towering stature exuded an unparalleled, oppressive presence.
"No one..."
Li Yu was not entirely surprised; he had recognized the visitor the mont he saw that massive hand.
He spread his hands, feigning helplessness. "If no one tells you to eat, do you just starve? It was simply sothing that naturally happened."
"Naturally happened?" Tu Rui's expression darkened drastically. His entire body trembled slightly as bulging veins popped out against his pale blue skin.
Boom!
Without any warning, he threw a vicious punch straight at Li Yu. His fist, the size of a clay pot, erupted with terrifying force, tearing through the very air.
Li Yu's pupils shrank. He instantly activated Bullet Ti, allowing him to barely trace the trajectory of Tu Rui's incoming fist.
Tu Rui was at least a D-rank, or perhaps even a D grade. Fortunately, the distance between them wasn't too close.
He managed to tilt his body just enough to dodge. A bloody gust of wind rushed past his face, so close that Li Yu could clearly see the fine hairs on Tu Rui's knuckles.
Having narrowly evaded the strike by a hair's breadth, Li Yu noticed Tu Rui looked sowhat surprised. However, the man didn't follow up with another attack, opting instead to stare at him coldly.
"Don't think too highly of yourself..." Having thrown the punch, Tu Rui cald down significantly. He never truly intended to follow up and deliver a killing blow.
This was because the promotional posters for the match between Li Yu and Roarer Gore had already been plastered everywhere, and the betting pools were fully open.
Grey Spear was already dead. If Li Yu died as well, those managers would completely lose their minds. Cutting off soone's source of wealth was an unforgivable offense, akin to killing their parents.
This was exactly why Li Yu acted so fearlessly. He wasn't afraid that Tu Rui would kill him, because even if the man wanted him dead, it certainly wouldn't happen today.
Yet, Tu Rui truly hadn't expected that a punch aid squarely at Li Yu's chest could actually be dodged.
"Next ti you speak to , rember to address as Lord Tu Rui..." Tu Rui turned his head and prepared to leave. As he stepped through the ruined chanical door, he abruptly paused, glancing back over his shoulder.
"Also, from now on, without my permission, don't sit in the chair in my office."
Li Yu remained silent. Outside the shattered chanical door, a crowd of fighters had gathered and were peering inside, many of them wearing faint expressions of mockery.
Among the onlookers was Li Yu's opponent for the upcoming match in a few days, Roarer Gore.
"What is going on? What does you killing Third Fatty have to do with him? Why was he so furious?" Hunter was still shaken, his face filled with sheer confusion.
"Because..." Li Yu paused for a mont. "He probably had a thing for that fatty..."
Hunter gasped in horror. He hurriedly looked around before whispering frantically, "Are you really not afraid of death?!"
"He won't kill . At the very least, he won't do it before I kill Roarer Gore... I'm safe, so don't worry." Li Yu let out a long breath and leaned back against the sofa.
The real reason Tu Rui was so furious was because Taotie had inford him that, without Third Fatty, a crucial link in their transportation route was gone. Consequently, the delivery of the juvenile Troll heart would be delayed by a few days.
Claptrap had monitored their communications just a short while ago, which was why Li Yu wasn't the least bit surprised by Tu Rui's sudden intrusion.
Taotie's original intention had been to provoke Tu Rui into wanting to kill Li Yu. If he could have him killed outright, all the better. Unfortunately for Taotie, Tu Rui hadn't completely lost his mind to rage.
In reality, the businesses of the four leaders within Thorn Fla were entirely independent and did not overlap at all. However, it was blatantly obvious that Tu Rui didn't fully understand Thorn Fla's organizational structure.
