Inside Tyron Tower, Li Yu watched the scenes switching back and forth on the screen, his expression exceptionally peculiar.

"Master, two powerful artificial intelligences are clashing back and forth. I have lost administrative control over this room," Claptrap's voice echoed from the smart terminal.

Li Yu did not pay it much mind. Whether it was the power of Dark Star or the forces commanded by the Archon of the Heavenly Desolation Star, neither was sothing they could currently contend with.

He just had not expected the situation to unfold so suddenly. To think that an overlord-tier marauder from the No Man's Land System would openly provoke the Star Glory Empire.

Furthermore, the Archon of the Heavenly Desolation Star, who had supposedly departed, had actually deceived the planet's citizens. There was undoubtedly a hidden layer of conflict behind all of this.

"This Dark Star is courting death. Even if they reign supre in the No Man's Land System, they are rely insignificant ants before the Star Glory Empire..." Hunter shook his head, holding a very pessimistic view of Dark Star's situation.

"The current Emperor of the Star Glory Empire is an incredibly hardline monarch. Hoping to use the Heavenly Desolation Star for extortion is pure suicide."

Li Yu shot him a surprised look. It seed that no matter the universe, all older n shared a common hobby: discussing the state of universal affairs.

"Perhaps Dark Star suffered persecution at the hands of the Star Glory Empire in the past. Regardless of the outco, this kind of action will cause the empire to lose face." Mo Duo was much more subjective in her take, inherently assuming the Star Glory Empire was at fault.

The known universe was not solely ruled by the Star Glory Empire. There were countless smaller factions, though the Star Glory Empire simply stood at the very pinnacle.

Both of their comnts fit their personalities perfectly. It was only when their gazes shifted toward him that Li Yu realized what was happening. "Do I have to share my opinion too?" he asked.

He shook his head, too lazy to offer any input. Right at that mont, the chanical door humd open.

Ever since they were placed under house arrest, their access privileges had been revoked. Now, even a stray dog could wander in and out of the room as it pleased.

Several guards stepped in first, pointing their psionic light guns at the group. Psionic energy could effectively inflict massive damage on E-Class Lifeforms.

However, it was easily disrupted by elental attribute energy, which would neutralize its lethality. Still, it could be considered an absolute bane to E-Class fighters.

Following close behind, a figure wearing a white suit adorned with a boutonniere strolled inside. He possessed the head of a goat, and the two curved horns atop his head were a glossy, pristine white, looking as though they had been specially waxed.

Head of the Goods Departnt: Siege.

That na surfaced in Li Yu's mind. There were many departnts within Tyron Tower, and just as many heads. Although they all appeared to be of equal rank on the surface, they were still divided into various ranks of status.

For example, the heads of the Goods Departnt, the Boxing Match Departnt, and the Food Departnt were all top-tier figures who wielded significant authority.

"Director Siege..." Li Yu narrowed his eyes as he observed the Goat-Man. For a mber of the Sheep-n race, achieving such a high status was exceptionally rare.

"You lot, take these two outside for a mont..." Siege did not respond to Li Yu, instead ordering the guards to escort Mo Duo and Hunter away.

Hunter and Mo Duo remained relatively calm. Hunter did not sense any impending danger, and Mo Duo detected no killing intent from Siege. It was obvious that he had private business to discuss with Li Yu.

The guards led the two out, leaving the room to Siege. He reached into his suit, pulled out a palm-sized purple disc, and gave it a gentle toss.

A faint purple glow slowly rippled outward. Li Yu did not move, simply allowing the radiance to wash over his body.

The mont the purple ripples completely enveloped him, the smart terminal in his hand abruptly went black, losing all functionality.

"Just a little trick to isolate smart devices," Siege finally spoke. He stood with his hands tucked into his trouser pockets. His fur was a brilliant white and immaculately grood.

"You are quite cautious, Director Siege," Li Yu remarked playfully. He took a seat on the sofa and gestured for Siege to do the sa.

"Unlike those dominant races, I have to be careful and prudent in all things." Siege sat down on the sofa, crossing his legs with a distinct air of elegance.

A dominant race within the Star Glory Empire referred to species that possessed military legions comprised entirely of their own kind, much like the Troll Legion.

Trolls were naturally a four-chain species. Upon reaching adulthood, they automatically beca D-Class Lifeforms. They required virtually no resources to cultivate and were born to be formidable warriors.

He did not waste ti with excessive pleasantries. "What thod did you use to make Tu Rui let you off the hook? Was it rely threatening his son?"

Given his capabilities, tracking the fact that Tu Rui had left Tyron Tower and headed straight for the hospital was effortless. Combined with Li Yu's current house arrest, the situation spoke for itself.

"With the Dark Star fleet hovering right above us, you still have the ti to worry about such trivial matters, Director Siege?" Li Yu countered, avoiding a direct answer.

"Heh." Siege pulled out a pristine white handkerchief and began polishing his horns. "The Star Glory Empire will be constrained by public opinion within interstellar society, making it difficult for them to employ any underhanded tactics."

"But... the Tyron Chamber of Comrce is different. Anyone who dares to offend the Tyron Chamber of Comrce will pay a heavy price!"

His tone carried intense confidence and pride. It was clear he was imnsely proud of his status.

Li Yu looked thoughtful. Siege continued, a touch of arrogance creeping into his voice, "I do not wish to waste words with you. I know Tu Rui is searching for a juvenile troll heart to perform a transplant for his son."

"If you have any evidence regarding this matter, tell , and I can spare your life."

"Three citizenships?" Li Yu probed.

"Impossible!" Siege's decisive and uncompromising refusal was practically a carbon copy of Tu Rui's reaction.

Then, a look of realization dawned on his face, followed by a scoff. "Did you present the exact sa condition to Tu Rui, and he refused you?"

Li Yu neither confird nor denied it. He leaned back against the sofa, letting out a comfortable sigh. "You guys are making things very difficult for ."

"Could you tell what it is you are trying to do?"

Siege glanced at the lounging Li Yu, a deeply hidden trace of contempt flashing in his eyes. "I could certainly tell you, but do you dare to listen?"

His implication was crystal clear. The waters ran deep in this matter, and if Li Yu chose to listen, there would likely be no turning back.

"I dare," Li Yu said, sitting bolt upright. His glasses glead brightly, brimming with anticipation.

Siege's expression stiffened slightly. His eyes narrowed into fine slits, but he did not fall for Li Yu's trick. His face returned to a mask of indifference. "One citizenship. That is my offer. Think it over."

"Tu Rui has an explosive temper. You might be able to threaten him for a mont, but you cannot threaten him forever. You would be much better off cooperating with ."

Siege departed. He was well-versed in the art of manipulation. He knew better than to display his desires too strongly; instead, he had to project an ambiguous attitude, making the other party believe they were not actually that important.

"What did that old goat co here for?" Hunter asked curiously upon returning. By now, he had accepted his fate. The worst that could happen was death, so why give a damn?

"I don't know. Maybe he just ca here to show off..." Li Yu replied. As the purple ripples faded away, Claptrap ca back online.

"Get Tu Rui on the line for . I need to have a little chat with him. After all, he is my dear manager; how could I ever tolerate soone scheming against him?" Li Yu let out a devious chuckle, instantly sending a chill down Hunter's spine.
