Outside the Rule Entanglent Area, things had changed drastically compared to five years ago.
A massive tal fortress, shaped like a cube, was suspended in Cosmic Space.
From each corner extended slender pieces of equipnt. They looked like transparent pipes, but were actually orbital shuttle devices.
They connected all the way to tallic conical chanical Restraints at the ends.
And these few devices, like suction cups, firmly held onto a large number of planets from afar. These were all celestial bodies that had been migrated here, and after special treatnts like gravitational binding and energy constraint, they were very stable.
The tallic conical chanical Restraints were called Astro-Magnetic Anchoring Systems.
They were used to guide the magnetic field energy of the celestial bodies for various high-specification Energy applications.
Inside the fortress, Damian's expression was gloomy. He stared at the screen in front of him, and the person on the other side smiled bitterly:
"The reply from the other side is that it's The Emperor's eighteenth wife's birthday, which requires several months to prepare, so the cooperation matters will be postponed for a while."
"A wife's birthday!? Don't they have any other Excuses!?" Damian roared: "In these five years, the cooperation progress has not advanced at all, and information gathering hasn't moved an inch!"
"What the hell are you guys doing!?"
He couldn't help but be angry.
When he first contacted the Star Glory Empire, he was quite happy. After all, the prospect of contacting a high-level civilization always made these scientific Researchers very expectant.
However, the subsequent developnts sowhat exceeded his expectations.
Just the approval process the other side ntioned took nearly a year.
After finally passing the approval and getting the chance to et The Emperor, the other side just said one sentence and then ended the eting.
This made the joyous Damian feel like a basin of cold water had been poured over him.
After that, things like visiting the Capital or further cooperation matters were repeatedly delayed by the other side.
Otherwise, they would just fob them off with so low-level Technology, and even placed them under house arrest in a certain area, not allowing them to leave without permission.
It was through such various Excuses and evasions that Damian had suffered through these agonizing five years.
"There must be sothing wrong sowhere, otherwise they couldn't possibly respond like this. What exactly are they plotting?"
Damian wasn't an Idiot either. During this period, he had continuously sent so people in. However, those Exploration Vessels were either torn apart by the Rule Entanglent Area,
Or they were intercepted by the other side and similarly placed under house arrest, not allowed to leave.
The other side had already figured out where their entry points were, making it almost impossible to escape being locked onto.
And this secretive attitude of the other side also made Damian suspicious.
There must definitely be sothing fishy going on with this Star Glory Empire sowhere.
But he had no clue about it.
Three years ago, he submitted a report, wanting to open a new exploration point in another area, but so far it had Vanished Without a Trace.
This current exploration point was only built up in a short ti because several Major Civilizations had invested a lot of resources.
If he wanted to open another exploration point in another area, it would similarly consu a lot of resources.
And because of the Dinsion War, the attention of the higher-ups was temporarily not here.
It was also because Damian had Gained Nothing that they were sowhat unwilling to invest resources.
Their original intention was to open up The Ruins, perhaps using it to lock onto the Dragon Sovereign's location, or at worst, obtain so precious items left behind by the Titan Civilization.
But ever since they found out the Star Glory Empire was about as powerful as them, their interest gradually waned.
It was impossible to fight a war with this powerful civilization over sothing so Baffling.
And they were even less interested in helping this powerful civilization break free from The Ruins.
Damian also knew this logic.
But there was nothing he could do. The initial adjustnt of the exploration plan was proposed by him. Now, under the circumstance of not having any substantive evidence, wanting to adjust it again would be extrely difficult.
But he could be sure now that this Star Glory Empire was absolutely not what they had previously speculated.
"I must figure out exactly what you are hiding!" Damian's eyes flickered. This was no longer a matter of whether he was curious or not.
It was that this group of people was treating him like an intellectually disabled person to fool him. How could he possibly swallow this anger.
Although he Gained Nothing from exploring this Star Glory Empire,
Over these five years, his research on the Rule Entanglent Area had reached a higher level.
As long as there was enough resource support, he believed he could open up an orbit that a large Legion could pass through.
But he needed an opportunity!
"The Dinsion War is already over. They will put their eyes back here..." He muttered softly, comforting himself with this.
