The breakfast at Xinxing Agricultural Science College today was delivered from the college canteen dormitory and consisted of Huokui biscuits and corn porridge.
Huokui biscuits are a type of bread, crispy and fragrant when freshly baked, but once they cool down, they beco hard and chewy, and one of either your jaw or the biscuit is destined to et its end.
To combat the durability of Huokui biscuits, the school provided students with corn porridge.
If students had never seen the light of day, they would never spend hundreds on delivery fees.
But next door, where there are delicacies like abalone, sea cucumber, and shark fin, and a simring fish head hotpot, truly pushes the limits for students in other dorms, so much so that even with the original intention for observation activity, they’ve been driven to order takeout.
The observation activity at the College of Agriculture, in a sense, can be seen as a private booking.
Resources in the mountains and nearby rural vegetable fields, which students can obtain, have already been paid for by the college.
However, the precondition for consumption is knowing what you’re eating.
Otherwise, after eating, you might swing on vines and transform into a monkey or end up picking protected fauna, leading to a severe scolding from the professor and deductions from your usual scores.
The college provides fundantal carbs and at, but wanting a lavish lifestyle depends on one’s efforts and solid agricultural knowledge.
There’s no lack of wealthy students at the College of Agriculture, yet credits are like the Sword of Damocles, and usual scores are one of the important ways to make up for insufficient credits.
Ordering takeout affects these usual scores and GPA.
But people like A-Qing and Mo Yiqing aren’t worried about this at all.
Firstly, the mouse panther, red scorpion, and eastern star groupers were all hunted by the little fox using her own skills.
The takeout is just additional servings, and besides, even the counselor ate so, so she can’t really out herself.
Moreover... there’s A-Qing in the room.
"A-Qing, Professor ng said it’s ti for class." The counselor, having just finished a red scorpion rice cake, knocked on A-Qing’s door with a satisfied look, saying this to A-Qing.
"Oh, I’m going over to help start the class now!" Sitting at the table with the little fox on her lap, A-Qing patted its round belly. Upon hearing the counselor’s voice, she glanced at the ti subconsciously and hurriedly prepared to help.
It’s already 7 o’clock, and although the observation activity isn’t a typical class, it also has activity tis.
"Hmm? A-Qing, are you the class leader?" Hearing the counselor call A-Qing over to help start class, Ansheng was puzzled, as he never heard A-Qing ntion this before.
"? Being a class leader is too troubleso, that’s not ." A-Qing answered, then walked out carrying the little fox.
Under Ansheng’s curious gaze, the counselor and A-Qing arrived at a dried-up pond behind the guesthouse.
There, a dozen or so people were standing sporadically, so middle-aged and older people wearing glasses, and so teachers in their thirties, along with a group from the Security Bureau posing as ard security for a security company.
"You’re here?"
Professor ng was a woman with short, graying hair, wearing plastic reading glasses, and she handed a gaphone to A-Qing with a cheerful face, saying:
"Sorry to trouble you again, Rain. Lately, the rising temperatures have been bringing the little creatures in the mountains out to warm up."
"Not at all, it’s just a few words." A-Qing spoke with embarrassnt, took the gaphone that was infinitely linked, faced the mountain forest area, took a deep breath, and shouted loudly:
"Ti to eat!"
"The all-you-can-eat canteen is open again!"
As A-Qing shouted into the gaphone, so loudspeakers set up in the forest echoed simultaneously.
The call to eat echoed in the southern slopes of Qinling.
"?"
In a pile of dead leaves and branches, a small commotion of cicada pupae erged, and a five-step snake, perfectly blended with the surroundings, poked its head out and looked around slowly, puzzled.
With A-Qing’s voice spreading, a map appeared in its mind.
There was a pond, with mice, clean water, and warm sunlight.
And around the pond stood people; a King Cobra wanted to co over for a feast, but the people yanked the King Cobra’s tail and tossed it out.
"Hiss?"
On the branches above the five-step snake, a completely erald Bamboo Leaf Green Snake poked its head out, flicking its tongue.
The seemingly silent forest, under A-Qing’s powerful call and the reputation built in the past couple of days, attracted both venomous and non-venomous snakes from the southern slope region to her location.
And so beasts who had tasted the sweetness of free food, upon hearing A-Qing’s al call, rushed back eagerly.
"Awooooo—"
A Xia Country wolf howled, leading its not-so-large pack swiftly down the mountain, much like a whole group of Huskies, with wolfish eyes devoid of any viciousness, absolutely clear.
In July, August, and September, is the rutting season for Takin.
As the rulers of Qinling, Takin in heat crash into everything, even trucks.
During this ti, wolves and jackals in Qinling have suffered greatly, making it hard even to find food when out.
But now, there’s kind-hearted food providers!
"Holy cow!"
The little fox perched on A-Qing’s shoulder witnessed a panda poking its head out from the underbrush after A-Qing’s shout, rolling down the mountain directly after hugging its own head.
The panda rolled into the adow, unfurled, and quickly ran on all fours to A-Qing, sitting steadily in front of her, then solemnly extended its bear paw, and pushed forward.
"The first Qinling panda, awards ten pieces of at, and unlimited bamboo around the guesthouse!"
The director of the Departnt of Agronomy next to A-Qing pulled out a large piece of at from a bucket beside and placed it on the panda’s paw.
Pandas are bears, but due to historical issues, starving pandas have evolved the ability to munch on bamboo.
Who wouldn’t eat at if available!
But it’s not like they couldn’t catch it!
"Woof!"
The panda, biting the at, rubbed against A-Qing’s legs with delight, then happily ran towards the guesthouse to begin its short, joyful life inside.
"Woof woof woof—"
The lead wolf brought its whole family of fifteen, wagging its tail enthusiastically in front of A-Qing, eyes filled with longing and pure innocence, almost lying on the ground to show its belly.
"....A-Qing, these wolves could probably be house pets without needing much taming, scraping by on a loaf of bread?" Seeing this, Ansheng couldn’t help but sarcastically comnt.
"You all have to be good, people from the School of Animal Science have lots and lots of at in their pockets~" A-Qing patted the head of the lead wolf, assisting the teacher in handing out disaster relief food from the college to the reported wolf packs, and instructed them to behave well at the amusent park.
"Awoooo!"
The lead wolf nodded solemnly, then under Ansheng’s gaze, it led the pack to the guesthouse area of the School of Animal Science.
The lead wolf took a few steps back, charged the door open, leading the pack into the student dormitory for a raid.
"Wow! A wolf pack—"
In the guesthouse ransacked by the wolves, a wailing erupted.
A Xia Nan Tiger, looking gloomy, exited the guesthouse and gave a loud snort, lifting its leg to pee.
It was the gecko that previously invaded the guesthouse.
After being squeezed by A-Qing till its head was tight, it was reclaid by the Snake Woman and transferred to the School of Animal Science for study.
In the School of Animal Science.
Although humans are animals, studying humans is the job of the dical profession; humans hold no research value.
By this formula: Wild animals > humans.
"Students with observation material are so happy!"
A-Qing glanced toward the School of Animal Science, eyes filled with envy.
Students in the School of Animal Science were indeed too fortunate.
For their observational studies, they don’t have to climb mountains; all they need is to howl into the mountains for samples to co to their doorstep.
anwhile, those in the College of Agriculture have to climb and dig into the soil.
"........"
Hearing A-Qing’s words, even though the professors knew of A-Qing’s extraordinary nature, they couldn’t help but twitch the corners of their mouths slightly as students’ screams didn’t seem like they were happy!
But there was nothing wrong with what A-Qing said.
