"Are you seeing what I’m seeing?" Luna said, frozen in place.

Valery’s hands covered her mouth. Her eyes were wide, trembling.

The screen glowed on the wall. The numbers loaded slowly, line by line. For a few seconds, no one spoke — just the hum of the projector.

"....."

"..."

"..."

Then, the number appeared in bold white digits.

Valery’s hand hovered over the mouse. Her voice shook.

"Eleven million."

Wayne blinked. "Wait... eleven million?"

She nodded. "U.S. — 5.1 million. U.K. — 1.8 million. Worldwide total — 12,027,419 copies sold in seven days."

The entire room went dead silent. Then it exploded.

"Holy shit!" Rex shouted, hitting the table. "We actually did it — eleven fucking million!"

Elara scread, hugging him before turning to Dayo. "Boss, this is unreal! Eleven million?! You broke every record in history!"

Urich walked up slowly, still stunned. "I knew you were good, JD, but this? You just broke the world record by double. You’re not human, bro."

Dayo smiled faintly. "We broke it. You all worked hard. You deserve this, too."

Urich grinned, shaking his head. "You’re a freak of nature, man. But I’m proud I picked the right side."

The laughter, cheers, and disbelief filled the air.

Luna covered her mouth, tears rolling down her cheeks. "This is real... this is actually real." She rushed toward Dayo and hugged him tight. He wrapped his arms around her, whispering, "We did it." Then he kissed her lightly on the lips, and the room cheered louder.

Alice stood at the back, smiling faintly. Pride mixed with sothing else in her chest. She’d seen success before, but this was different — Dayo wasn’t just winning; he was rewriting the rules. Her heart twisted a little when she saw him and Luna together, but she forced a smile. "We did it," she said softly.

Dayo didn’t jump or scream. He just stood there quietly, staring at the glowing numbers. A rush of emotions ran through him — happiness, confusion, shock, and sothing deeper he couldn’t na.

Back in his old world, the highest first-week album sales were around 3.3 million units. Here, the record was 3.9. But this? Five million in the U.S. alone. Even he couldn’t believe it. Still, sothing in him felt off — like the number didn’t sit right. His instincts whispered that sothing wasn’t adding up. But for now, he brushed it aside. It was ti to celebrate.

---

Across the internet, chaos erupted.

Headlines started flooding every corner of social dia and news networks:

Billboard Magazine: "JD’s The Other Side sells 11 million — the fastest-selling album in history."

Rolling Stone: "A rookie musician just did the impossible — the first Diamond-certified album in a week."

BBC Music: "Global hysteria: JD breaks a century-old record."

Spotify Charts: "#1 in 87 countries. 12 songs in Top 100. 4 songs in Top 10."

Apple Music Global: "JD’s Say Sothing (with Luna) becos the fastest-stread track of the year."

Audiomack: "First artist to surpass 1 billion streams in under seven days."

MTV News: "From newcor to legend: JD’s rise is a phenonon."

Talk shows, news anchors, and analysts were speechless.

"This isn’t hype," one host said. "It’s a generational event."

"He’s not competing with artists anymore," another added. "He’s competing with history."

---

On social dia, it was madness.

Hashtags trended across the world: #JD11Million, #TheOtherSideRecord, #JDPhenonon, #MusicHistory, #DayoEffect.

Fans flooded tilines with shock, s, and praise.

"Bro, this guy just rewrote music history."

"I’m so proud of JD. The Other Side saved my year."

"This album made cry, laugh, and dance — 11 million makes sense!"

"He deserves every stream!"

But of course, not everyone was happy.

"These numbers are fake. No way a new guy sells that much."

"PR stunt. Nobody even knew him last year."

"Yup screams of scam"

"How is it even possible that a new artist breaks a record that an S artist created?"

And, of course, the defenders ca swinging.

> "Are you dumb? Billboard confird it."

"Spotify, Apple, and BBC literally posted it. Stay mad."

"He’s the GOAT already, deal with it."

"People would hate, but the facts remain he had done it."

"Go and cry, you hatters."

Screenshots of the official statistics spread everywhere, silencing most of the doubters. It wasn’t PR — it was real, and the proof was everywhere.

People called it The JD Phenonon.

In major cities like New York, London, Tokyo, and Lagos, his face covered giant billboards. Neon letters flashed:

> "11 Million in 7 Days — The New Era Begins."

Celebrities posted their reactions too:

> "This kid just humbled the entire industry." — Drake M.

11 million. Unreal. A living miracle." — Elisa G.

"From an unknown to a global icon in one week." — BBC Host Rachel King.

Everywhere he looked — every platform, every article — there was only one na trending: JD.

---

Back at JD Records, the excitent hadn’t died down.

Dayo sat back while the others were still shouting and celebrating. He was quiet, thinking. The higher you rise, the more they want to see you fall.

He rembered a ssage from a friend two days ago.

> "Watch your back, JD. The industry doesn’t like this, your sudden rise."

He knew this would happen, but not so soon, but now he could almost feel the eyes on him.

People would think he had so secret formula — sothing unnatural. They wouldn’t believe it was just talent, timing, and strategy.

He couldn’t tell anyone about the Spotlight Card.

If he did, they’d probably drag him to a lab and try to split his skull open to "find the secret."

He sighed quietly. Let them think whatever they want. I’ll deal with it.

Valery was still by the computer. "Should I show the breakdown, boss?"

Dayo nodded. "Yeah. Let’s see it."

The screen flickered again, loading the charts.

The room went quiet again, this ti not from disbelief, but from awe.

Urich whistled. "Man, this is unreal. You’ve taken over every platform on the planet."

"Not just him," Luna said proudly, wiping her eyes. "We all did this together."

Alice nodded quietly. "Yeah. But he’s the one holding the light."

Rex laughed excitedly as always. "I don’t even know how to celebrate this anymore. Drinks? Fireworks? Jump off a building?"

Everyone burst out laughing.

Dayo smiled, leaning back. His expression stayed calm.

"Celebrate today," he said softly. "We still have work to do tomorrow."

They all looked at him — half proud, half in disbelief.

How could soone be this composed after breaking history?

Urich shook his head. "I’m not even surprised anymore. You’re already planning your next move, aren’t you?"

Dayo chuckled lightly. "You know too well."

But deep down, his mind was heavy. He could sense a storm coming. People were already calling, asking how he pulled it off. Labels wanted answers. Rivals were restless, ’Michael’.

Soone warned him that they — the ones behind the industry — were watching.

And Dayo knew it was true.

Still, he stayed calm.

For now, the world loved him. His na was everywhere. He had achieved what no one thought possible.

But he also knew fa like this ca with shadows.

He looked once more at the glowing screen — the numbers, the charts, the proof of his success — and exhaled.

It was a mont of triumph.

A mont the world would never forget.

But deep down, Dayo could already feel it —

sothing was changing.

Sothing was coming.

And he had to be prepared to weather the storm.

With all of these thoughts in mind Dayo heard a familiar sound.
